Meiji Shrine Outer Garden

Meiji Shrine (明治神宮, Meiji Jingū), is a Shinto shrine in Shibuya, Tokyo, that is dedicated to the deified spirits of Emperor Meiji and his wife, Empress Shōken. The shrine does not contain the emperor's grave, which is located at Fushimi-momoyama, south of Kyoto.

The Meiji Shrine Inner Garden (明治神宮内苑, Meiji Jingū Naien) or Yoyogi Gyoen is a public garden adjacent to Meiji Shrine and Yoyogi Park in Shibuya, Tokyo. The garden was once part of the suburban residences of Katō Kiyomasa and later the Ii clan during the Edo period. During the Meiji period, the garden came under the supervision of the Imperial Household Agency and named Yoyogi Gyoen (Yoyogi Imperial Garden) and was frequently visited by Emperor Meiji and Empress Shōken. The garden contains a tea house, an arbour, a fishing stand and an iris garden. It has an area of 83,000 square meters and is open to the public throughout the year.

Kita-sando Station (北参道駅, Kita-sandō-eki) is a subway station on the Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan, operated by the Tokyo subway operator Tokyo Metro.

Takeshita Street (竹下通り, Takeshita-dōri) is a pedestrian shopping street lined with fashion boutiques, cafes and restaurants in Harajuku in Tokyo, Japan. Stores on Takeshita Street include major chains such as The Body Shop, McDonald's, and 7-Eleven, but most of the businesses are small independent shops that carry an array of styles. The shops on this street are often a bellwether for broader fads, and some are known as "antenna shops," which manufacturers seed with prototypes for test-marketing. Located directly across from the exit of JR East's Harajuku Station, Takeshita Street is very popular with young teenagers, particularly those visiting Tokyo on school trips, or local young people shopping for small "cute" goods at weekends.

Washington Heights was a United States Armed Forces housing complex located in Shibuya, Tokyo during the occupation of Japan by Allied forces. Constructed in 1946, it remained in operation until 1964, by which point all land had been returned to Japanese control. Today, the site encompasses Yoyogi Park, Yoyogi National Gymnasium, the NHK Broadcasting Center, and other facilities. This installation has a marker for the first powered flight in Japan.

Harajuku Station (原宿駅, Harajuku-eki) is a railway station in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East). The station takes its name from the area on its eastern side, Harajuku.

Jingūbashi (神宮橋, Jingūbashi), lit. Shrine Bridge, also known as Harajuku Bridge or Harajuku Cosplay Bridge, is a bridge that passes over the Yamanote Line between Harajuku Station and the entrance to the Meiji Shrine in Tokyo, Japan. Formerly a pedestrian bridge, it is now open to traffic. With its wide pedestrian area, it is well known as a spot for cosplayers and fashion performers, which in turn led to it becoming a tourist attraction.

The Ukiyo-e Ōta Memorial Museum of Art (浮世絵 太田記念美術館, Ukiyo-e Ōta kinen bijutsukan) is a museum that opened in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan, in January 1980. It presents rotating exhibitions of Ukiyo-e from Ōta Seizo V's collection of over 12,000 pieces.

Universal Music LLC (Japanese: ユニバーサル ミュージック合同会社, Hepburn: Yunibāsaru myūjikku Gōdō gaisha), often referred to as just Universal Music Japan or UMJ, is a Japanese subsidiary of the Universal Music Group founded in 1990. It is the largest subsidiary for a foreign company in the country regarding music distribution. The company is responsible for marketing and distribution in Japan for Japanese releases under Universal. In 2021, Universal Japan CEO and President Naoshi Fujikura was included on Billboard's International Power Players list.

The Tōgō Shrine (東郷神社 Tōgō-jinja) was established in 1940 and dedicated to Gensui (or 'Marshal-Admiral') the Marquis Tōgō Heihachirō shortly after his death. This shrine was destroyed by the Bombing of Tokyo, but was rebuilt in 1964. It is located in Harajuku, Tokyo, Japan. There, the Marquis Tōgō Heihachirō is celebrated as a shinto kami. A small museum and a bookshop dedicated to the Marquis Tōgō are located within the grounds of the shrine. The shrine is located near the intersection of Takeshita Street and Meiji Avenue and is accessible from Harajuku Station. The physical remains of the Gensui (or Grand Admiral) himself are interred at Tama Cemetery in Tokyo. According to The Telegraph, the Tōgō Shrine took possession in 2005 of Admiral Tōgō's original battle flag raised at the Battle of Tsushima; the flag had been in Britain since 1911.
