The George E. Goodman Mansion, at 1120 Oak St. in Napa, California, was built in 1873. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.It was designed by architects McDougall and Marquis of San Francisco in Second Empire style.

The Capt. N. H. Wulff House, at 549 Brown St. in Napa, California, was built in 1885. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.It is a two-story wood frame Italianate-style house. In 1992 it was "virtually unaltered" since its original construction, and retained its architectural integrity.It was deemed significant as one of few surviving buildings associated with Napa's maritime history. The navigable Napa River flows 20 miles (32 km) from Napa to the San Francisco Bay, and early in Napa's history was essentially the only way to transport produce and passengers to San Fran, and assorted goods and passengers back. River traffic did not decline until the 1920s. Captain N. H. Wulff was "one of the city's most important steamboat owners and masters during the last half of the nineteenth century. Because Wulff was engaged in carrying goods and passengers vital to the growth of the town, the building is also significant in the areas of commerce and transportation.... Wulff had the house erected at the height of his career in 1885 and lived in it until his death in 1911."The house was designed by William H. Corlett and built by Thomas Derry.

Tulocay Cemetery is a cemetery located in Napa, California originally established in 1859 following Governor pro tem Manuel Jimeno to Cayetano Juárez's 1853 donation of approximately 48 acres (0.2 km2) of land to the people of Napa.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.It is a two-and-a-half-story Queen Anne-style building built upon a raised basement. It has a corner tower.Its National Register nomination calls it "one of Napa's most successfully executed examples of late nineteenth-century residential architecture. It embodies the aesthetic ideals of the Queen Anne style through its design and detailing and shows the type of house that attracted prosperous Napans at the end of the Victorian era. It also indicates the growing importance of family rather than personal wealth. When compared with the hundreds of other residences from the period in Napa, the Goodman House emerges as one of the ten or twelve most significant."

Imola was an unincorporated community in Napa County, California. It lies at an elevation of 7 feet (2 m). Imola was located on the Southern Pacific Railroad, 1.25 miles (2.0 km) south of Napa.The Imola post office opened in 1920, and closed in 1953.  Imola was the site of the Napa State Hospital (originally housing people diagnosed "insane"). Imola was named for Imola in Italy, which also hosted an insane asylum. In 1948, Imola was described as a "house of hope" in which patients were able to build skills working in the agricultural and industrial activities supported by the hospital. Imola was later annexed to the city of Napa.

BottleRock Napa Valley is an annual music festival held at the Napa Valley Expo in Napa, California. The initial BottleRock was a five-day event that took place May 8–12, 2013. The event featured three stages with 60 bands, including Jackson Browne, Train, The Black Crowes, Zac Brown Band, The Shins, Primus, The Avett Brothers, Joan Jett, Cake, Jane's Addiction, The Flaming Lips, Kings of Leon, The Black Keys, Alabama Shakes, The Iron Heart, Ben Harper, Violent Femmes, Café Tacvba, Rodrigo y Gabriela and Charlie Musselwhite. Furthur had been scheduled, but withdrew from the lineup due to an injury and health issues suffered by Bob Weir. It was the Napa Valley's first large-scale music festival. Forty local wineries were featured at the festival. Although the festival attracted over 120,000 attendees and generated mostly positive reviews, several vendors and workers claim to have been left unpaid by organizers following the event. Estimates of well over $2.5 million for unpaid wages and services are being claimed by creditors including the City of Napa, venue provider Napa Valley Expo, a variety of security, catering and transportation companies, a local of International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and individuals. To resolve financial woes, subsequent festival proceeds were used to partially pay off debts.

Napa River Inn, in Napa Valley, California, is a historic hotel dating from 1884. It is located on the Napa River within part of the historic Napa Mill, which is now also a commercial establishment with dining, shopping, spa treatments, and entertainment.In 1884 or 1886 Captain Albert Hatt used the mill as a warehouse for serving local vineyards. The Napa River Inn was built inside the historic Napa mill building in the 1990s, "with interior design inspiration coming from the renowned Sandra Blake."It has been alleged the inn is haunted by the ghost of Albert Hatt, Jr., who died by hanging himself in the warehouse in 1912. It was featured in a 2002 episode of Haunted Hotels as a place where spectral lovers search for each other from beyond. The inn was listed on the National Registry of the Historic Hotels of America in 2004.In 2012, approval to expand the hotel by 26 rooms, adding a third floor, was received.After a seven-year hiatus, expansion of the hotel finally began in 2019.

Rancho Tulucay was a 8,866-acre (35.88 km2) Mexican land grant in present day Napa County, California given in 1841 by Governor pro tem Manuel Jimeno to Cayetano Juarez. The Tulucay name originates with the names Tulkays and Ulucas that were applied to the inhabitants of Tuluka, a Patwin village in the area. The grant was on the east side of the Napa River, between Soscol Creek on the south, and Sarco Creek on the north.

The Oxbow School is a private single semester arts school for high school sophomores, juniors, seniors, and gap year students located in Napa, California, sitting near an oxbow of the Napa River. High school and gap year students can choose to attend in either the fall or spring semester with visual arts and academic focus. Oxbow also offers a 6-week Summer Art Institute for the same grade levels. The school trains students in painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography and digital media while still satisfying high school graduation requirements and preparing them for college admittance. The school was founded in 1997 and opened in 1999.

Napa State Hospital is a psychiatric hospital in Napa, California, founded in 1875. It is located along California State Route 221, the Napa-Vallejo Highway, and is one of California's five state mental hospitals. Napa State Hospital holds civil and forensic mental patients in a sprawling 138-acre campus. According to a hospital spokesperson, there were 2,338 people employed at the facility during the 2016 to 2017 fiscal year, making it one of the region's largest employers. The Napa Valley Cricket Club played a number of their matches at McGrath Field, a multi-use sports field, at the eastern end of the hospital campus for the 2017 season.

The Superior Court of California, County of Napa, also known as the Napa County Superior Court or Napa Superior Court, is the branch of the California superior court with jurisdiction over Napa County.

The Napa County Courthouse Plaza is a complex in Napa, California, which consists of the Napa County Courthouse and the Hall of Records. The two buildings occupy an entire city block, which includes open areas and landscaping to create the site's plaza setting. The High Victorian Italianate courthouse was built in 1878 to replace the original 1856 courthouse. The courthouse continues to serve as the seat of Napa County government. The 1916 Hall of Records is a federally sponsored records building designed by William H. Corlett. The Renaissance Revival building represents an early use of reinforced concrete as a building material; the material became popular nationwide in the 1920s.The plaza was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 18, 1992. The courthouse was damaged by the 2014 South Napa earthquake. A $11.6M contract for restoration of the courthouse was awarded by Napa County in August 2017.
