The Henry Cort Community College, formerly Fareham Park Senior School, is a mixed sex comprehensive school in Fareham, Hampshire, England. It is one of three comprehensive schools in Fareham, and had around 850 students at the last count. It has a sporting tradition, especially in field hockey, and has sports facilities, including an astroturf pitch and a gym. The school is named after the iron pioneer, Henry Cort.

Knowle Hospital, was a psychiatric hospital that was repurposed as the village of Knowle near the town of Fareham in Hampshire, southern England, which opened in 1852 and closed in 1996.

Titchfield Abbey is a medieval abbey and later country house, located in the village of Titchfield near Fareham in Hampshire, England. The abbey was founded in 1222 for Premonstratensian canons, an austere order of priests. The abbey was a minor house of its order, and became neither wealthy nor influential during its three centuries of monastic life; the inhabitants were devoted to scholarship, as shown by their very impressive library. The abbey was closed in 1537 by Henry VIII of England during the Dissolution of the Monasteries and the building was converted into a mansion by Thomas Wriothesley, a powerful courtier. Later in the sixteenth century the mansion was home to Henry Wriothesley, who was a patron of William Shakespeare. In 1781 the mansion was abandoned and partially demolished. The remains were purchased by the government in the early twentieth century and are now a Scheduled Ancient Monument under the care of English Heritage.

Burridge is a small village in the Borough of Fareham, south of Hampshire, England. It lies approximately 14 miles south of Winchester on the A3051 between Botley and Park Gate. It is also to the north of Sarisbury and to the west of Whiteley. The village was formerly known as Caiger's Green, but the name Burridge became more popular as the village grew (named after Burridge Farm). Burridge AFC has four adult sides, playing in the Drew Smith Southampton Saturday League, Gosport & Fareham Football League and the Meon Valley Football League. Burridge Cricket Club's first XI plays in the second division of the Southern Electric Premier Cricket League. Burridge and Swanwick Residents Association serves the local community. Funtley – from the Anglo-Saxon, "Funtaleg", "spring field (clearing)", is a hamlet or exurb north of Fareham, Hampshire, England. It forms a projection towards the South Downs National Park and is generally included within Fareham's population as it is within its built-up area. At present the village is unparished, as the creation of a parish council was rejected by Fareham Borough Council, despite having the support of the majority of residents.The village grew from the development of a clay quarry, the clay used to make chimney pots and bricks — acclaimed Fareham red (bricks) used to build premium Victorian buildings such as the Royal Albert Hall in London, and Knowle Hospital near Fareham. Sometimes known as Fontley by locals (reflecting its probable longstanding alternative pronunciation, as it appears in church use and many other place names such as Mottisfont) the village is no longer a discrete settlement owing to post-World War II growth of Fareham, it is an exurb in rural surrounds separated from the town by the M27 motorway. Its brickworks is long closed and the chapel closed in 2018. Its former clay quarry is a fishing lake. The village pub, The Miner's Arms, echoes its mid-19th century spell as a near-independent community.

Whiteley is a community of (planned) 6,500 homes in the county of Hampshire, England, near Fareham. The development straddles the boundary between two council districts: the Borough of Fareham to the south and east, and the city of Winchester to the north and west. It was developed in the mid 1980's, and is now expanding rapidly, due to the town plan for North Whiteley, which was approved by Winchester Council in 2018.

Shedfield is a village and civil parish in the City of Winchester district of Hampshire, England. In the 2001 UK Census, Shedfield had a population of 3,914, falling to 3,842 at the 2011 Census. Shedfield parish includes the neighbouring villages of Waltham Chase and Shirrell Heath.
