The Fifth Municipality (In Italian: Quinta Municipalità or Municipalità 5) is one of the ten boroughs in which the Italian city of Naples is divided. It is the most populated municipality.

The Chiaia Funicular (Italian: Funicolare Chiaia) is one of four funiculars in the public transportion system of Naples, Italy. The system is a true funicular: an inclined railway with two passenger cars, connected via cables, operating in concert. Opened in 1889, the Chiaia Funicular is one of the oldest funicular railways in the world, and carries over half a million passengers per year.The line connects its upper terminus in Vomero to its lower terminus in Chiaia via four stations: Cimarosa Station, Palazzolo Station, Corso Vittorio Emanuele Station, and Regina Magherita Station. It primarily connects Piazza Vanvitelli, at the top of Vomero Hill, to Rione Amadeo. The line connects with Line 1 of the Naples Metro and the Central Funicular at Via Cimarosa, and with Line 2 at Via Regina Margherita. At Cimarosa the Chiaia is connected by an underground tunnel to both Vanvitelli station, on Line 1 of the Naples Metro, and to the Central Funicular. The Montesanto Funicular is a short walk to the northeast. A fourth funicular, the Mergellina Funicular, connects Posillipo Alto with the city's Mergellina area. A now defunct system, the Sorrento Funicular, operated nearby from 1883-1886.

Vanvitelli is an underground metro station that serves Line 1 on the Naples Metro. It was opened on 28 May 1993 as the southern terminus of the inaugural section of Naples Metro, between Vanvitelli and Colli Aminei. On 5 April 2001, the line was extended to Museo, and Vanvitelli ceased to be the terminus.The station was built according to the plans of Michele Capobianco and has undergone a radical restoration (thanks to which the station is part of the circuit of art stations) directed by Michele Capobianco and his son Lorenzo Capobianco with artistic consulting by Achille Bonito Oliva. The entrances are placed in the four corners of Piazza Vanvitelli, as well as an underground corridor that leads from the station directly to the two funiculars namely that of Chiaia and Central. The descent to the level of the tracks is via two sets of fixed stairs and furniture while the output directly via a single ramp. You can also make use of the elevators.

The Certosa di San Martino ("Charterhouse of St. Martin") is a former monastery complex, now a museum, in Naples, southern Italy. Along with Castel Sant'Elmo that stands beside it, this is the most visible landmark of the city, perched atop the Vomero hill that commands the gulf. A Carthusian monastery, it was finished and inaugurated under the rule of Queen Joan I in 1368. It was dedicated to St. Martin of Tours. During the first half of the 16th century it was expanded. Later, in 1623, it was further expanded and became, under the direction of architect Cosimo Fanzago, essentially the structure one sees today. In 1799 anti-clerical French forces of occupation suppressed the monastery and forced the monks to flee. In the ensuing decades the monks made several attempts to reestablish their charter house, with the last effort failing in 1866, when the state definitively confiscated the property. Today, the buildings house the National Museum of San Martino with a display of Spanish and Bourbon era artifacts, as well as displays of the presepe—Nativity scene—considered to be among the finest in the world.

San Gennaro al Vomero is a Neoclassic-style church, located on the corner of via Solimena and via Giovanni Bernini, near the piazza Vanvitelli in Naples, Italy. In part due to the 19th century urban renewal of Naples, the parish of San Gennaro al Vomero was established by Cardinal Guglielmo Sanfelice in this new reclaimed areas, and serve part of what had been the parish of Santa Maria del Soccorso all'Arenella. The architect was Luigi Bottino and the engineer Andrea Taglialatela. Construction began in 1892. The church was damaged during the 1930 earthquake and restored by 1931. Similar fate occurred after the 1980 earthquake, but restoration was slower.

The Montesanto Funicular (Italian: Funicolare di Montesanto), is one of four operating funiculars in the public transportion system of Naples, Italy. The system is a true funicular: an inclined railway with two passenger cars connected via cables, operating in concert. Opened in 1891, the Montesanto Funicular carries over 4 million passengers per year. The line connects its upper terminus in the Morghen area of Vomero with its lower terminus near the city's Spanish Quarter via three stations, Morghen, Corso Vittorio Emanuele (Napoli), and Montesanto. At the upper station, it is a short walk to Piazza Vanvitelli, where there is a connection to Vanvitelli station, on Line 1 of the Naples Metro (Metropolitana di Napoli), and to the Chiaia and Central Funiculars. A fourth funicular, the Mergellina Funicular, connects Posillipo Alto with the city's Mergellina area. A now defunct system, the Sorrento Funicular, operated nearby from 1883-1886.

The system is a true funicular: an inclined railway with two passenger cars, connected via cables, operating in concert. Inaugurated in 1928, the Central Funicular of Naples is one of the most used funicular railways in the world, and carries over 10 million passengers per year.The Central Funicular connects its upper terminus in Vomero with its lower terminus at Via Toledo near Galleria Umberto via four stations: Piazza Fuga, Petraio-Via Palizzi (accessing the Vomero Petraio), Corso Vittorio Emanuele (Napoli), and Augusteo at Piazzetta Duca d'Aosta. At Piazza Fuga, the Central Funicular station is adjacent to Piazza Fuga, near Piazza Vanvitelli, where there is a connection to both Vanvitelli station, on Line 1 of the Naples Metro, and to the Chiaia Funicular. The Montesanto Funicular is a short walk to the northeast. A fourth funicular, the Mergellina Funicular, connects the two further areas of Posillipo Alto and Mergellina. A now defunct system, the Sorrento Funicular, operated nearby from 1883 to 1886.

San Nicola da Tolentino is a church, located in Corso Vittorio Emanuele in Naples, Italy. The church was founded in 1618 in a zone where one of the Palaces of the Regio Consigliere Scipione De Curtis was found, and which patronized the construction of a hospice run by the Augustinian Order. After the 1631 eruption of Vesuvius, forced the monks to relocate to Resina. The monastery was then ceded to monks of the Order of San Martino and later to priests of the Congregation Vincenziani della Missione till 1836, when they were expelled, only to regain the facility in 1860 and move back in by the 20th century. Outside, a scenic staircase leads to the church atrium of the church. A series of marble inscriptions and votive offerings indicate the veneration of Our Lady of Lourdes which began in 1873. The stucco and white marble interior is mainly the design Domenico Antonio Vaccaro following a reconstruction in the 18th century. The main altar is attributed to Granucci. In the lateral chapels is a St Joseph and Child Jesus with Saints Gennaro and Elmo by Giuseppe Castellano. It is placed next to a 16th-century crucifix. the frescoes on the ceiling (1890) were completed by Vincenzo Galloppi, who also decorated the apse in an oriental style similar to that of Domenico Morelli. The presbytery walls were frescoed by Francesco Saverio Altamura and Bernardo Hay with stories relevant to the Virgin of Lourdes; in 1875, a reproduction of the Grotto of Lourdes was built. The site was often visited by the modern saint Doctor Giuseppe Moscati, who provided a marble plaque in gratitude to the Virgin

Santa Teresa a Chiaia is a Baroque church in Naples, Italy. The church was founded in 1620, and completed in 1650-1662 by Cosimo Fanzago. The earthquake of 1688 damaged the church and required reconstruction. The church was originally called Santa Teresa Plaggie, due to the place near the beach where it was located. The facade is rich in stucco decoration. The interior is a Greek cross plan with a statue of St Teresa, by Fanzago on the main altar. The principal works in the church are the Infancy of Mary, Repose in Egypt, St Peter appears to St Teresa and St Peter of Alcantara providing confession to St Teresa, by Luca Giordano.

Napoli Piazza Amedeo is an underground rail station on the Villa Literno line in Naples, Italy. The station went into service September 20, 1925, with the activation of the railway from Naples to Pozzuoli Solfatara (the so-called "underground"). The station has a pavilion made of reinforced concrete which leads through a long tunnel leading to the turnstiles and the docks. The station is located in the Rione Amedeo, in the heart of Naples' wealthy, near nightlife. It is also close to Via dei Mille, Via Calabritto and Piazza dei Martiri, which are lined with designer boutiques. The station is also well connected by Chiaia Funicular to Vomero. The station is served by subway trains, labeled Line 2.

The Palazzo delle Arti di Napoli (simply known by the acronym PAN) is a museum in the city of Naples, located in the historic Carafa di Roccella - a monumental building located in the neighbourhood of Chiaia, via dei Mille ; it hosts exhibitions of contemporary art in its many forms (painting, sculpture, photography, graphics, comics, design, video art, cinema).
