Edgewick is an unincorporated community in King County, in the U.S. state of Washington.

Wilderness Rim is a census-designated place (CDP) in King County, Washington, United States. It lies at an elevation of 1,043 feet (318 m). The population was 1,523 at the 2010 census.

Rattlesnake Lake is a lake in the northwest United States, located in Rattlesnake Mountain Scenic Area in King County, Washington, approximately thirty miles (50 km) east of Seattle, south of Interstate 90.

Cedar Falls is an unincorporated community in King County, Washington. It began as a construction camp for the Seattle Municipal Light and Power Plant. It was a joint-company town of Seattle City Light, Seattle Water Department, and Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad, with each company providing separate housing and amenities for its employees and their families.

Camp North Bend, also known as Camp Waskowitz, is a 9+1⁄2 acre complex of wood-frame buildings. Constructed by and for the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in 1935, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1993. It is the only intact example of CCC work camp design and construction in King County, Washington. The site is now used by Highline School District for an outdoor school program focused on environmental education.

The population was 2,132 at the 2010 census.Based on per capita income, one of the more reliable measures of affluence, Riverbend ranks 87th of 522 areas in the state of Washington to be ranked.

Olallie State Park is a public recreation area featuring multiple waterfalls located five miles (8.0 km) southeast of North Bend, Washington. The state park spans a 3.5-mile (5.6 km) stretch along the South Fork of the Snoqualmie River. The most prominent feature of the park is 135-foot-high (41 m) Twin Falls.

Mount Washington is a small mountain in the US state of Washington roughly 30 miles (48 km) east-southeast of Seattle, Washington along Interstate 90. It lies on the western margin of the Cascade Range just above the coastal plains around Puget Sound, and is southeast of nearby town of North Bend. Once known as Profile Mountain, Mount Washington was named due to a cliff resembling a profile of George Washington when viewed from an angle.The hike to the top of Mt. Washington is known for its view. Cedar Butte lies at the west end of the mountain.

Seattle Municipal Light and Power Plant, also known as Cedar Falls Historic District, is a public hydroelectric plant near North Bend, Washington operated by Seattle City Light. The plant was the first publicly-owned electrical generating plant for Seattle and one of the earliest in the country for a municipality of its size. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.The population of Seattle grew rapidly from 3500 in 1880 to 237,000 in 1910, and the city needed to provide power to its population. Electricity was first used for street lights, and then for electric railways. Ultimately, private customers were provided electricity for lighting and appliances. The Seattle Municipal Light and Power Plant's initial capacity of 3500 kilowatts was increased to 13,500 kilowatts by 1910, and further improvements brought capacity to 40,000 kilowatts. Residents of the city paid one of the country's lowest electrical rates per kilowatt hour, more than half the rate charged by the private firm Seattle Electric Company (renamed Puget Sound Power and Light).

Riverpoint is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in east King County, Washington, United States. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 774. At the 2010 census, the area was listed as the Tanner CDP and had a population of 1,018 over a larger area.In 2010, the Tanner CDP ranked 46th out of 522 communities in the state of Washington for per capita income.

Chester Morse Lake (originally Cedar Lake) is a lake in the upper region of the Cedar River watershed in the U.S. state of Washington. The original lake surface was 1,530 feet (466 m) above sea level, but when the river was dammed in 1900, the elevation was raised to 1,560 feet (475 m). Chester Morse Lake is more than four miles (6 km) long, and is primarily fed from the east by the north and south forks of the Cedar River, and from the south by the Rex River. The lake is part of the Seattle area water supply. Located in the upper watershed, Chester Morse Lake is impounded by the masonry dam and a secondary control structure called the Overflow Dike. The lake now functions as a water supply storage reservoir and powers a 30-megawatt hydroelectric facility. Chester Morse Lake was previously a natural lake called Cedar Lake. Cedar Lake was formed about 14,000 years ago by the terminal moraine of an alpine glacier descending the Cedar River valley from the upper elevations of the Cascade Mountains. Because upstream fish passage to Chester Morse Lake is naturally blocked by Cedar Falls, the fish populations in the lake are isolated from those downstream. Bull trout and pygmy whitefish populations in Chester Morse Lake have thus been separated from other populations for at least 13,000 years, and represent unique genetic stocks of these species. Both of these species spend most of their time in deeper portions of the lake. The surface of Chester Morse Lake has an average annual fluctuation of about 20 feet in elevation. Inundation of the Cedar and Rex river deltas strongly affects their aquatic and wetland habitats. Changes in lake level management toward higher lake levels in the past 15 years have resulted in a retreat upslope of sedge and willow communities on the delta. Inundation of the Cedar and Rex river channels within and upstream of the delta causes sedimentation that can negatively affect bull trout eggs. Studies are underway to examine these effects.
