At the 2010 census, the area was listed as the Tanner CDP and had a population of 1,018 over a larger area.In 2010, the Tanner CDP ranked 46th out of 522 communities in the state of Washington for per capita income.

Olallie State Park is a public recreation area featuring multiple waterfalls located five miles (8.0 km) southeast of North Bend, Washington. The state park spans a 3.5-mile (5.6 km) stretch along the South Fork of the Snoqualmie River. The most prominent feature of the park is 135-foot-high (41 m) Twin Falls.

Cedar Butte a small forested mountain south of North Bend, Washington. It is east of Rattlesnake Lake at the foot of Mount Washington. The summit can be reached by a low-impact hike from the Iron Horse Trail.

Little Si (pronounced ) is a mountain in the US state of Washington, named after its taller neighbor, Mount Si. It has an elevation of 1,576 feet (480 m). and lies on the western margin of the Cascade Range just east of the town of North Bend. Little and Big Si were named after local homesteader Josiah "Uncle Si" Merritt. Little Si is a distinct mountain peak from Mount Si, with a different trailhead and a valley that separates the two peaks. The Little Si trailhead is at approximately 47°29′14″N 121°45′12″W. Little Si is also known for its rock climbing and bouldering.

Only about a 45-minute drive from Seattle, the mountain is a favorite outdoor destination for residents of Puget Sound. Between 80,000 and 100,000 hikers visit the mountain annually. The land is owned by the state of Washington and has been designated a Natural Resources Conservation Area.The four-mile-long (6.5 km) Mount Si trail vertically climbs 3,500 feet (1,070 m) to the summit ridge. Its summit is reached by an exposed scramble, class 3, up the north side of the summit block, which is known as the "Haystack".The peak can be accessed by two trails. The Old Mount Si trail is accessed by the Little Si parking lot and the Boulder Garden Loop. It is 0.6 miles (0.97 km) shorter, 270 feet (82 m) steeper in elevation gain, and less crowded than the main trail. The Mount Si trail is accessed by the Mount Si parking lot.

Wilderness Rim is a census-designated place (CDP) in King County, Washington, United States. It lies at an elevation of 1,043 feet (318 m). The population was 1,523 at the 2010 census.

The North Bend Ranger Station is a collection of buildings operated by the USDA Forest Service in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in 1936, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1991. The multiple buildings indicate the expansion of Forest Service responsibilities from custodial supervision to extensive resource management. North Bend Ranger Station is considered historic both for its distinctive rustic architecture and for its association with the federal New Deal programs.

Mount Washington is a small mountain in the US state of Washington roughly 30 miles (48 km) east-southeast of Seattle, Washington along Interstate 90. It lies on the western margin of the Cascade Range just above the coastal plains around Puget Sound, and is southeast of nearby town of North Bend. Once known as Profile Mountain, Mount Washington was named due to a cliff resembling a profile of George Washington when viewed from an angle.The hike to the top of Mt. Washington is known for its view. Cedar Butte lies at the west end of the mountain.

The mountain is 1,459 meters high and is located at the western edge of the Cascade Range on land managed by Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Its nearest higher peak is Green Mountain, 1.18 miles (1.90 km) to the northeast. The mountain takes its name from the island of Tenerife in Spain.
