Montrose is a station on the Chicago Transit Authority's 'L' system, serving the Blue Line. The station serves the Irving Park, Mayfair, and Portage Park neighborhoods. Blue Line trains run at intervals of 2–7 minutes during rush hour, and take 22 minutes to travel to the Loop. The station is located in the median of the Kennedy Expressway. The station opened in 1970 as part of the Kennedy extension, connecting the Milwaukee Elevated from Logan Square to Jefferson Park. A transfer is available to Metra's Milwaukee District North Line's Mayfair stop, just to the west of the station.

The Ropp-Grabill House is a historic house in the Irving Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. While the house's construction date and original owners are unclear, it was built sometime in the early 1870s, making it part of the first wave of development in Irving Park. At the time, the neighborhood was still meant to be a wealthy garden suburb of Chicago, and it was not until later in the century that it became a dense neighborhood of the city. The house was designed in the Italianate style, a popular choice at the time, and includes oriel windows on its south side, bracketed eaves, and a cupola. Its name comes from two of its longtime tenants; the Ropp family lived in the house from 1891 until 1943, while the Grabill family lived there from 1943 through 1977.The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 15, 1985.

The Elmer C. Jensen House was built in 1905. It was designed by, and built for, architect Elmer C. Jensen. It is located in the Old Irving Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, United States.

Mayfair is a Metra station located on the Milwaukee District North Line on the border between the Albany Park and Portage Park community areas of Chicago, Illinois. The station is officially located at 4357 North Cicero Avenue (Illinois Route 50), however the actual location is the northeast corner of West Pensacola and North Kilpatrick Avenues. It is 9.0 miles (14.5 km) away from Chicago Union Station, the southern terminus of the line, and serves commuters between Union Station and Fox Lake, Illinois. In Metra's zone-based fare system, Mayfair is in zone B. As of 2018, Mayfair is the 147th busiest of Metra's 236 non-downtown stations, with an average of 281 weekday boardings.As of December 12, 2022, Mayfair is served by 40 trains (19 inbound, 21 outbound) on weekdays, by all 20 trains (10 in each direction) on Saturdays, and by all 18 trains (nine in each direction) on Sundays and holidays. Transfers are available to the Blue Line at the nearby Montrose Avenue station, as well as CTA's bus system. Although the line does have an at-grade junction with Union Pacific Northwest Line just north of the station platforms, there are no direct connections from here to any of the Union Pacific Northwest Line's stops within Albany Park.

The Whistle Stop Inn is a two-story building in Chicago, Illinois, which has been the home of a variety of businesses. Built in 1889 in the Irving Park neighborhood, this place represents a type of intimate neighborhood storefront that was common but is now rare. The Whistle Stop Inn was designated a Chicago Landmark in 1990. It is at 4200 W. Irving Park Road, just off the Kennedy Expressway.

The Race House is an Italianate style house located at 3945 North Tripp Avenue in the Irving Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, United States. The house was built in 1874 by an unknown architect for Stephen A. Race. It was designated a Chicago Landmark on September 22, 1988.

The Charles N. Loucks House is a historic house at 3926 N. Keeler Avenue in the Irving Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The house was built in 1889 for Charles N. Loucks, a real estate planner who developed much of Irving Park, and his family. Clarence H. Tabor, an architect who worked for Loucks' real estate company, designed the Queen Anne house. The house's design features a front porch with carved wooden trim and a pediment, a front-facing gable with a floral design at its peak, and a tower with a conical roof. The interior includes distinctive floral-patterned art glass windows, which include both clear and stained glass and were inspired by English and Japanese design.The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 9, 1984.

The Admiral Theatre in Chicago, Illinois opened in 1927 as a vaudeville house. it was designed by Gallup and Joy and acquired by the Balaban and Katz circuit. The Admiral closed sometime in the late 1950s, and remained shuttered for many years until opening in 1969 as an all-cartoon venue. Unable to draw the crowds necessary to remain open, the Admiral closed again. In the early 1970s, the Admiral was opened as an adult movie house. After receiving a facelift in the 1980s, the Admiral continues to thrive as an adult venue and strip club. While the interior has been drastically altered, the facade is in remarkably good shape.

The Mayfair Pumping Station is a historic structure on Northwest side of Chicago, United States. Located at 4850 W. Wilson Avenue, the pumping station has served as the archetype for similar pumping stations worldwide.

Irving Park is a railroad station on Metra's Union Pacific Northwest Line located in the Irving Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The station is elevated on a solid-fill embankment which parallels the Kennedy Expressway. It is located adjacent to a station of the same name on the Blue Line. The station contains two side platforms; the southwest platform serves outbound trains, and the northeast platform serves inbound trains. A third express track runs through Irving Park but does not stop there. Irving Park is located in the B zone in Metra's zone-based fare system. As of 2018, Irving Park is the 110th busiest of Metra's 236 non-downtown stations, with an average of 439 weekday boardings.Irving Park is 6.9 miles (11.1 km) from Ogilvie Transportation Center and 56.2 miles (90.4 km) from Harvard. As of April 3, 2023, Irving Park is served by 50 trains (25 in each direction) on weekdays, by 31 trains (16 inbound, 15 outbound) on Saturdays, and by 19 trains (nine inbound, 10 outbound) on Sundays. Weekend inbound train No. 706 stops at Irving Park on days with home Cubs games only. Otherwise, this train bypasses Irving Park.

Irving Park is an 'L' station on the CTA's Blue Line. The station is located in the median of the Kennedy Expressway in the Irving Park neighborhood, though it draws its name from its cross street. Irving Park is one of two stations on the Blue Line that stops in an expressway median where the entrance is below the platform; Rosemont is the other, specifically beneath the westbound lane of the Kennedy Expressway. The station opened in 1970 as a part of the Kennedy extension of the Milwaukee Elevated from Logan Square to Jefferson Park.
