Freedom Village

Kent Institution (French: Établissement de Kent) is a Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) facility located in Agassiz, British Columbia. Opened in 1979, Kent is the only maximum security federal penitentiary in the CSC's Pacific region, which includes the province of British Columbia and the Yukon territory. The majority of prisoners at the facility are sentenced in other provinces. Educational programs, as well as socialization and employment, play a significant role at the institution. The facility employs over 300 people. The capacity (number of inmates) is 298.

Rosedale is a farming-based community located east of Chilliwack, British Columbia. This small community is based alongside the Fraser River. In summer, rockclimbing and whitewater rafting are the primary activities in the Fraser Valley. In the 2007 school year, the middle school located in Rosedale, Rosedale Middle School, was transformed into the Chilliwack School District's first traditional school. Rosedale now boasts an elementary/middle school combined, which opened its doors in 2012.

The Agassiz–Rosedale Bridge is a cantilever truss bridge across the Fraser River in the Fraser Valley region of southwestern British Columbia. Linking Agassiz with the south shore, the two-lane bridge carrying BC Highway 9 is by road about 36 kilometres (22 mi) west of Hope, 119 kilometres (74 mi) east of Vancouver, and 51 kilometres (32 mi) east of Abbotsford.

Agassiz ( AG-ə-see) is a small community located in the Eastern Fraser Valley region of British Columbia, Canada, about 97 kilometres east of Vancouver and 24 kilometres north-east of the city of Chilliwack. The only town within the jurisdiction of the District Municipality of Kent, it contains the majority of Kent's population.

Agassiz station is a railway station in Agassiz, British Columbia, Canada, located along CPR's Cascade subdivision. The station is served by Via Rail's The Canadian as a flag stop (48 hours advance notice required).The station is only served by eastbound trains towards Toronto. Westbound trains call at Chilliwack railway station along the CN Railway tracks, on the other side of the Fraser River. This split in service between Vancouver and Ashcroft is due to CN and CPR utilizing directional running through the Thompson- and Fraser Canyon.

The Pacific Agri-Food Research Centre (previously known as the Dominion Experimental Farm at Summerland and Summerland Research Station) is an agricultural research centre in British Columbia, Canada. The centre has been historically important in the development of tree fruits. It is administered by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and includes sites at Summerland and Agassiz.

Chehalis ( shə-HAY-liss) is a small forestry, agricultural and First Nations community in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia located on Highway 7 on the west bank of the Harrison River between the town of Mission and the resort community of Harrison Hot Springs. Chehalis is the site of Chehalis Indian Reserve No. 5 of the Sts'Ailes people and their government, the Chehalis First Nation. The Chehalis River enters the Harrison near the reserve community, which is on IR No. 5. Chehalis Indian Reserve No. 6 is across the Harrison from the main community, which is home to various non-native businesses as well as native-operated ones.

Ferry Island Provincial Park is a Class C provincial park in British Columbia that is located on the south side of the Fraser River northeast of Rosedale. This park is northwest of Bridal Falls, British Columbia and adjacent to the Agassiz-Rosedale Bridge. The Ferry Island Park was established in 1963, and it has an area of about 29 hectares. Ferry Island Provincial Park is listed as a "Class C" provincial park which is governed by a local community board.

Harrison Hot Springs Water Aerodrome (TC LID: CAE7) is located adjacent to Harrison Hot Springs, British Columbia, Canada. It is located at the south end of Harrison Lake, directly across from the Harrison Hot Springs Resort.

Harrison Hot Springs is a village located at the southern end of Harrison Lake in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia, Canada. It is a part of the Fraser Valley Regional District; its immediate neighbour is the District of Kent, which includes the town of Agassiz. As its name would suggest, it is a resort community known for its hot springs and has a population of just over 1,500 people. It is named after Benjamin Harrison, a former deputy governor of the Hudson's Bay Company.

Fairfield Island is a residential and rural suburb of Chilliwack, British Columbia. Bounded by the Bell Slough and the Fraser River to the north, and the Hope Slough to the south, it is the northernmost neighbourhood in Chilliwack.
