Parc Borély is a public municipal park in the city of Marseille, France. It is classified by the Ministry of Culture as one of the Remarkable Gardens of France. The park is 17 hectares in size. It adjoins the Jardin botanique E.M. Heckel.

Marseille Borely Racecourse (Hippodrome de Marseille Borely) is a horse racing facility for thoroughbred flat racing and standardbred harness racing located at 16, avenue de Bonneveine in Marseille, France. The race track was established in 1860. Its current grandstand and other amenities were built in 1999.

The Huveaune (French pronunciation: ​[yvon]; Occitan: Evèuna) is a small river in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of southeastern France. It is 48.5 kilometres (30.1 mi) long and flows through the communes of La Penne-sur-Huveaune, Nans-les-Pins, Saint-Zacharie, Plan-d'Aups-Sainte-Baume, Auriol, Roquevaire, Aubagne, and the metropolitan area of Marseille.The Huveaune rises in the Castelette cave at 590 metres (1,940 ft) in the Sainte-Baume mountain range, and runs into the Mediterranean Sea at Marseille. Its drainage basin is 502 km2 (194 sq mi).

The Plages du Prado (or Plage du Prado—translated variously as Prado Beach, Prado beach, Prado Beaches, and Prado beaches) are the beaches in the south neighborhood of Marseille, France. The seaside park is an artificial coastal development created in the late 1970s by Gaston Defferre. They were built with the fill coming from the construction of the two Marseille subway lines.

Provence School (French: Ecole de Provence) is a private Catholic primary and secondary school, located in Marseille, France. The school was founded by the Society of Jesus in 1873. The school enrols approximately 2,000 students and is organized under a statute of association of 1901 law and contract of association with the State.

The Marseille Memorial is a steel obelisk commemorating the deaths of 1.5 million Armenians in Ottoman Empire during the Armenian genocide in 1915. The monument was dedicated in 1973 in Marseille, France. France has a large Armenian community, with up to 600,000 people of Armenian descent. The monument is located beside the Armenian church at avenue du Prado.

The Unité d'habitation (French pronunciation: ​[ynite dabitasjɔ̃], Housing Unit) is a modernist residential housing typology developed by Le Corbusier, with the collaboration of painter-architect Nadir Afonso. It formed the basis of several housing developments throughout Europe designed by Le Corbusier and sharing the same name. The most famous of these buildings is located in the southern part of Marseille, France. It was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2016 because of its importance to the development of modernist architecture, along with 16 other works by Le Corbusier. It is also designated a historic monument by the French Ministry of Culture. It was damaged by fire on 9 February 2012.

The Marine Station of Endoume is an oceanography and marine biology research institute located in Marseille (France). It was founded in 1882 by Antoine-Fortuné Marion (1846–1900). It is today one of the sites for the joint research unit IMBE(Mediterranean Institute of marine and terrestrial Biodiversity and Ecology) hosting research teams from Aix-Marseille University and the CNRS.

The Algerian consulate bombing in Marseille, France, happened on 14 December 1973, killing four people and injuring 23 others, many of them seriously. Except for one Armenian, all victims were Algerian.The attack was orchestrated by the Charles Martel Group, a far-right organisation made up of former Organisation armée secrète (OAS) members. It was their first attack. The bombing culminated a year which saw a high number of racist violence incidents against Algerians in the country, particularly in Marseille, which was mainly ignited by the murder of a local bus driver by a deranged Algerian youngster on 25 August 1973.On 28 January 2018, a memorial plaque was placed on the consulate's entrance.
