Clippesby

All Saints' Church is an Anglican church, partly ruined, near the villages of Billockby and Fleggburgh, Norfolk, England. It is a Grade II listed building. The porch and the chancel are in regular use. Services are held at 9am on the fourth Sunday of the month, from Easter to September.

Burgh Common and Muckfleet Marshes is a 121.5-hectare (300-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest south of Fleggburgh in Norfolk. It is part of the Broadland Ramsar site and Special Protection Area, and The Broads Special Area of Conservation.The Muck Fleet, a tributary of the River Bure, runs through this wetland site, which is traditionally managed by grazing and mowing. Habitats include tall fen, fen meadows and drainage dykes. There are rare plants and invertebrates, such as the swallowtail butterfly and the freshwater snail Anisus vorticulus.The site is private land but a public footpath goes through it.

Fleggburgh, also known as Burgh St Margaret, is a village and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. The village is located 6 miles (9.7 km) north-west of Great Yarmouth and 14 miles (23 km) east of Norwich, bisected by the A1064 between Acle and Caister-on-Sea.

Stokesby with Herringby is a civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. It comprises the village of Stokesby and the surrounding rural area. It is situated on the banks of the River Bure, some 10 km west of the town of Great Yarmouth and 25 km east of the city of Norwich.The civil parish has an area of 8.61 km² and in the 2001 census had a population of 293 in 116 households, the population increasing to 330 at the 2011 census. Potter Heigham Bridge Halt was a railway station on the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway which was opened to serve the boating traffic on the River Thurne. It was more conveniently situated to the Norfolk village of Potter Heigham than Potter Heigham station itself.

Thurne is a small village and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. It is located on the River Thurne in The Broads, some 18 km (11 mi) west of the town of Great Yarmouth and 20 km (12 mi) east of the city of Norwich.The village's name means 'Thorn-bush'.The civil parish has an area of 2.69 km2 (1.04 sq mi) and in the 2001 census had a population of 116 in 54 households and at the 2011 Census, including Ashby with Oby, had a population of 212 in 94 households. For the purposes of local government, the parish falls within the district of Great Yarmouth.The village lies at the end of Thurne Dyke, a popular mooring, not least because of Thurne windpump, which became known locally as Morse's Mill, Bob Morse, who purchased it to prevent it from being sold for scrap. It is a popular object for photography, after being painted white. There is a second windpump across the river, the St Benet's Level windpump. Thurne is also home to the well-respected sailing club Theta, which has been accommodated here for over half a century and is now part of the village's character. Free moorings are available for three boats at Thurne mouth. From there, it is a short walk to the village, with a large pub, the Lion Inn, and a small shop. The Weavers' Way, a long-distance footpath, runs through the village.

The River Thurne is a river in Norfolk, England in The Broads. Just 7 miles (11 km) long, it rises 2 miles (3.2 km) from the coast near Martham Broad and is navigable from West Somerton. It flows southwest and is linked by Candle Dyke and Heigham Sound to both Horsey Mere and Hickling Broad. It continues southwest and flows through Potter Heigham (passing under its medieval bridge) and enters the River Bure just south of Thurne dyke, near St Benet's Abbey.

Ludham - Potter Heigham Marshes is a 101.5-hectare (251-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north-east of Norwich in Norfolk. Part of the site is a Nature Conservation Review site, Grade I, and a National Nature Reserve. It is part of the Broadland Ramsar site and Special Protection Area, and The Broads Special Area of Conservation.This is described by Natural England as "both a nationally important wetland site and one of the richest areas of traditionally managed grazing marsh and dykes now remaining in Broadland". The principal conservation lies in the aquatic flora and fauna of the dykes, especially the dragonflies.Public footpaths cross the site.
