All Saints Church, Lindfield

Lindfield is a village and civil parish in the Mid Sussex District of West Sussex, England. The parish lies 1 mile (2 km) to the north-east of Haywards Heath, and stands on the upper reaches of the River Ouse. The name 'Lindfield' means 'open land with lime trees.' The parish Church, All Saints, stands at the top of the High Street and its history goes back to 1098. One of the oldest houses in the village is Church House, formerly known as The Tiger, and still referred to as "The Tiger" by Lindfield residents. It is classified as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Lindfield Cricket Club Ground is a cricket ground in Lindfield, Sussex. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1948, when the Sussex Second XI played the Essex Second XI in the Minor Counties Championship. In 1993, the ground held a Women's One Day International between Netherlands women and New Zealand women in the 1993 Women's Cricket World Cup.In local domestic cricket, the ground is the home venue of Lindfield Cricket Club.

Eastern Road Nature Reserve is a 3.5-hectare (8.6-acre) Local Nature Reserve on the eastern outskirts of Haywards Heath in West Sussex. It is owned and managed by Mid Sussex District Council.The reserve has rough grassland, wetland, woodland and scrub. There are aquatic insects such as dragonflies and other invertebrates include frogs and newts.There is access from Eastern Road

The Forest Way is a linear Country park providing walking, cycling, horse riding and the quiet enjoyment of the countryside. It runs for around 16 km from East Grinstead to Groombridge. The Forest Way lies within the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the heart of the picturesque East Sussex countryside with the Ashdown Forest lying to the south. It takes the route of a disused railway line and now provides an important habitat for wildlife forming a ‘green corridor’ through the upper valley of the River Medway. The route runs from East Grinstead, via Forest Row, Hartfield, and Withyham to Groombridge.

Walstead is a hamlet located 1.5 kilometres (0.93 mi) south east of Lindfield, West Sussex, England. The hamlet is the home of Great Walstead School, Paxhill Park Golf Course and a nursing home at Walstead Place, a country house built in 1852.

Lindfield Rural is a civil parish in the Mid Sussex District of West Sussex, England. It is located on the southern slopes of the Weald, five miles (8 km) to the east of Haywards Heath. It covers an area of 1,981 hectares (4,900 acres) and has a population of 2644 persons (2001 census). The parish council meets in the Millennium Hall in the village of Scaynes Hill.

The Scrase Valley is an 8-hectare (20-acre) Local Nature Reserve on the eastern outskirts of Haywards Heath in West Sussex. It is owned and managed by Mid Sussex District Council.This site has grassland, woodland and marsh. There are a number of unusual plants, such as purple toothwort, marsh cinquefoil, meadow thistle and marsh speedwell. The Friends of The Scrase Valley have planted three black poplar trees, which is nationally rare.There is access from a number points including a footpath from Barn Cottage Lane.

Tavistock and Summerhill School, located in Lindfield just 4 minutes from the heart of Haywards Heath, West Sussex was an independent day mixed nursery to preparatory school established in 1973 following the merger of Tavistock Hall and Summerhill Court. It closed down on 26 October 2015. The headteacher before closure was Dr Sandra Hastie. The religious affiliation was non-denominational. Admission to the school was through informal assessment.

Oathall Community College is a coeducational secondary school located between Lindfield and Haywards Heath in West Sussex, England. There are currently around 1067 students at Oathall, between the ages of 11 and 16. The college has a full spectrum of specialist accommodation, including a 5-acre (20,000 m2) farm, a music centre, specialist art building, recently refurbished Science and Maths building, conference facilities and well-equipped classrooms. They have a rolling programme of building development and refurbishment to reach all parts of the school over the next 10 to 15 years. Oathall serves Haywards Heath and surrounding areas, accommodating students from Ardingly, Horsted Keynes, Burgess Hill, Scaynes Hill and Danehill.

Haywards Heath Town Football Club is a football club based in Haywards Heath, West Sussex, England. They are currently members of the Isthmian League South East Division and play at Hanbury Park.

Ardingly was a railway station which served the West Sussex village of Ardingly in England. It was opened on 3 September 1883 by the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway (LBSCR) closed eighty years later and is currently used as an aggregates depot. The Bluebell Railway owns the trackbed from just east of the station to Horsted Keynes and has long-term plans to rebuild the line.

Haywards Heath ( (listen)) is a town in West Sussex, England, 36 miles (58 km) south of London, 14 miles (23 km) north of Brighton, 13 miles (21 km) south of Gatwick Airport and 31 miles (50 km) northeast of the county town, Chichester. Nearby towns include Burgess Hill to the southwest, Horsham to the northwest, Crawley northwest and East Grinstead northeast. With only a relatively small number of jobs available in the immediate vicinity, mostly in the agricultural or service sector, many residents work "remotely" or commute daily via road or rail to London, Brighton, Crawley or Gatwick Airport for work.
