Arts Council Napa Valley (ACNV) is the officially designated local arts agency (LAA) for Napa County, California. Established in 1963, it became a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in 1981. ACNV advances the arts in Napa County through diverse cultural programs and community services responding to its three core initiatives: Cultural Marketing, Art in Public Spaces, and Arts in Education. The Thomas Earl House, at 1221 Seminary St. in Napa, California, is an Italianate style house which was built in 1861. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.It is significant for its association with Thomas Earl (1825-1893), a leading citizen in Napa for four decades.The 2014 South Napa earthquake caused severe damage to the house, which was built with "21-inch-thick walls using an early form of concrete that lacked the strength of modern Portland cement". Marc Porat and his wife Claire Tomkins purchased the damaged house in 2017, planning to convert it into a ten-room retreat center for use by corporations. Their original plan was to move the house 12 feet (3.7 m) east and renovate it, and that concept was approved by Napa's cultural heritage commission, planning commission and city council early on 2020. Experts later concluded that moving the house all at once could result in destruction of the historic structure. Working with architect Tim Deming, the owners developed an alternative plan to cut the external walls into sections for removal, restoration and reassembly on a new steel frame set on a new foundation over a newly excavated basement, a process called "panelization". Although city staff expressed concern about the process, the cultural heritage commission approved the plan in December, 2020. Porat promised that the "end product will be identical".

The U.S. Post Office, also known as the Napa Franklin Station, served the 94559 zip code area of Napa, California. The post office was built in 1933 with funding from the Public Works Administration. Architect William H. Corlett designed the Art Deco building. The front facade of the building has three sections; the central section has six bays divided by piers with terra cotta capitals. A terra cotta cornice adorned with ram and cow heads tops the central section. The side sections, which contain the building's two entrances, feature panels with decorative eagle designs above the doorways and urn-shaped bronze light fixtures on either side. The post office's lobby features a painted bas-relief plastic ceiling, unusual in federally constructed post offices, and a terrazzo floor.The post office was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 11, 1985. The building was damaged by the 2014 South Napa earthquake.Both this building and the main Napa Post Office at 1625 Trancas Street were heavily damaged and red-tagged (not able to be occupied) after the earthquake. The United States Postal Service determined that repairing this building would be too costly. They tried to tear it down to rebuild another Post Office, but after neighborhood outcry, sold it to a developer for $2M. The developer plans to turn the building into a hotel.

The Goodman Library is a historic library located at 1219 1st St. in Napa, California. Built in 1901, the library was paid for by George E. Goodman and built on land donated by Goodman. Architect Luther M. Turton designed the building in the Richardson Romanesque style, which can be seen in its use of rusticated stone, round arch windows, and massive scale. The design represented a shift in Napa architecture, which was mainly Victorian prior to the library's construction.

The Old Napa Register Building, at 1202 1st St. in Napa, California, was built in 1905. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.The Napa Register, founded in 1863 as a weekly, is Napa County's largest newspaper. It began daily publication in 1872. George Milton Francis became sole owner and publisher in 1876 and ran it until the 1920s when his son, George R. Francis, took over.To erect the building, Francis bought the property at Coombs and First Streets in 1904, when it was relatively far from the downtown, and was reportedly advised that was a poor idea. However other businesses followed and the direction of Napa's commercial development switched from north–south along Main St. to east–west along First. It was designed by architect L.M. Turton.In early years, the second floor was leased as a dance studio.

First Presbyterian Church is a historic church at 1333 3rd Street in Napa, California. It was built in 1874 in the Neo-Gothic style and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. The building was damaged by the 2014 South Napa earthquake. The church's congregation moved back into the sanctuary in July 2016 following repairs and restoration.
