Molins de Rei

The Molins de Rei Municipal Museum is a local history museum that reflects the history, culture and craftsmanship of the town of Molins de Rei, in the region of El Baix Llobregat, and of the neighbouring areas closest to the town. The museum, which is part of the Barcelona Provincial Council Local Museum Network, was created in 1953; it has a permanent exhibition at its central location at number 55, Carrer Pintor Fortuny, and also has a temporary exhibition space at Ca n'Ametller, which is where the museum will eventually be located.

Sant Vicenç dels Horts is a municipality in the Province of Barcelona in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the right bank of the Llobregat river, on the N-340 road from Molins de Rei to Vilafranca del Penedès. The main rail lines of the Llobregat corridor pass through the town: the station is served by the FGC services S4, S7, S8, S33, R5 and R6. The remains of an Iberic village are visible at Puig Castellar. The GR 92 long distance footpath, which roughly follows the length of the Mediterranean coast of Spain, has a staging point at Sant Vicenç dels Horts. Stage 19 links northwards to Baixador de Vallvidrera station, a distance of 13.6 kilometres (8.5 mi), whilst stage 20 links southwards to Bruguers, a distance of 16.2 kilometres (10.1 mi).

Pallejà (Catalan pronunciation: [pəʎəˈʒa]) is a municipality in the comarca of the Baix Llobregat in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the right bank of the Llobregat river, on the main N-II road. The main rail lines of the Llobregat corridor pass through the town: the station is served by the FGC services R5/R50, R6, S4 and S8. Pallejà castle was built in the seventeenth century on the site of an older fortress; it currently houses a library.

El Papiol is a municipality in the comarca of the Baix Llobregat in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the left bank of the Llobregat river, on the A-7 autopista from Valencia to La Jonquera and the C-1413 road from Sabadell to Molins de Rei. At West it borders on Castellbisbal and Pallejà, at North on Valldoreix (Sant Cugat del Vallès) and at East on Molins de Rei. It is served by the Renfe railway line R4 from Barcelona to Martorell, Vilafranca del Penedès and Sant Vicenç de Calders, which is connected to the village center by a minibus service (6.30 am to 10.31 pm). It is also served by a bus service (L67) and a night bus service (N51) from Barcelona to Esparreguera.

The town has 7081 people. There are three urbanized zones in this town; the town centre, Colònia Güell area (which is around a former industrial colony) and residential districts. The Church of Colònia Güell, from the renowned architect Antoni Gaudí, is located here.

Baix Llobregat (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈbaʒ ʎuβɾəˈɣat]) is a comarca (county) on the coast of Catalonia, Spain. It is located in the Barcelona region and its capital is Sant Feliu de Llobregat.

The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper (Catalan pronunciation: [siwˈtat əspuɾˈtiβə ʒuˈaŋ ɡəmˈpe]) is the training ground and academy base of Spanish football club FC Barcelona. It was officially opened on 1 June 2006, and was named in honor of Joan Gamper, founder of the club. Located in Sant Joan Despí (Baix Llobregat, Province of Barcelona) to the west of central Barcelona and north of the city's airport, and covering 163.650 m², it is used since 2006 for youth team training and matches and since January 2009 for the first team training. It is also used by many of the other sports teams at the club including Basketball, Handball and Futsal who use facilities such as the multi-sports pavilion. Now that this facility is fully operational, all the youth teams that previously used the Camp Nou facilities, mainly the Mini Estadi and the Palau Blaugrana, train there. In 2019, the Johan Cruyff Stadium opened next to the Ciutat Esportiva to replace the Mini Estadi as a matchday venue for Barcelona B and Barcelona Femení. FC Barcelona's first team moved to this facility on 19 January 2009. This brought to an end a 30-year history that the first team had of training on the small pitch (known as the La Masia pitch) annexed to the Camp Nou. The first team facilities are the same as those at the Camp Nou and at the start of the 2009/2010 season it included a full pool and saunas for player recuperation. By 2011 a new residence was opened on site, housing the FC Barcelona's youth players who previously boarded at La Masia. This will include living space for around 85 players. The land occupied by the Ciutat Esportiva was purchased by the club in 1989 and is just 4.5 km away from the Camp Nou and is directly connected by the road between Barcelona and Sant Joan Despí. The Ciutat Esportiva eventually cost 68 million euros, of which 25.6 corresponded to urbanization and 42.5 to the total construction costs. The club sold two plots of land, the first on 21 June 2002 and the second on 20 February 2003, for values of 29.7 and 15.9 million euros, respectively to cover part of the costs of the operation. The rest of the money was invested directly by the club, an amount of 22.5 million euros.

Johan Cruyff Stadium (Catalan: Estadi Johan Cruyff; Spanish: Estadio Johan Cruyff) is a football stadium operated by FC Barcelona in Sant Joan Despí, Province of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, located in the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, the club's training facility and youth academy, about 7 km from Camp Nou. The stadium is home to FC Barcelona Atlètic, women's team, and Juvenil A (U19 A team). It is named in honor of legendary Dutch footballer Johan Cruyff who died in March 2016. It is a UEFA Category 3 stadium and houses 6,000 supporters. As part of the Espai Barça project, it is the replacement for the Mini Estadi, which was in front of Camp Nou and was demolished in 2020, and the land of the Mini Estadi will be used to build the Nou Palau Blaugrana.
