Olesa de Montserrat is a municipality in the comarca of Baix Llobregat, in Catalonia, Spain. Olesa de Montserrat is well known around the nearby places because of its olive oil and textile production, but especially because of its Passion play (La Passió d'Olesa), first documented in 1538. It achieved a world record in 1996, with 726 people acting onstage at the same time.

Sant Esteve Sesrovires (pronounced [ˈsant əsˈteβə səzruˈβiɾəs]; Spanish: San Esteban Sasroviras, lit. 'St. Stephen [of] the Oaks') is a municipality in the northern part of the comarca of Baix Llobregat in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the left bank of the Anoia river, close to the A-2 highway, and is served by the FGC railway line R6 from Barcelona and Martorell to Igualada.

Martorell (Catalan pronunciation: [məɾtuˈɾeʎ]) is a municipality, county, and city that forms part of the Baix Llobregat comarca, in Catalonia, Spain, primarily known for its medieval Devil's bridge. It lies at the confluence of the Llobregat and Anoia rivers. It has three railway stations - one on the Renfe line from Manresa to Sant Vicenç de Calders (via Barcelona and Vilafranca del Penedès) called "Martorell", and three on the FGC line from Barcelona to Manresa called "Martorell-Vila", "Martorell-Enllaç" and "Martorell-Central". Martorell is home to the SEAT corporate headquarters and automobile factory, where the SEAT Ibiza, Leon, Arona and Audi A1 are manufactured.

The L’Enrajolada Santacana House-Museum (Catalan: L'Enrajolada, Casa Museu Santacana), in Martorell (Baix Llobregat), is one of the oldest museums in Catalonia. It was founded in 1876 by Francesc Santacana i Campmany (1810-1896) and then taken over by his grandson, Francesc Santacana i Romeu (1883-1936). It is located in an old private residence with four floors and a garden, which belonged to the Santacana family. L'Enrajolada is part of the Barcelona Provincial Council Local Museum Network.

The Battle of Martorell (Catalan: Batalla de Martorell) is one of the episodes of the Reapers' War in Catalonia that took place from 20 to 23 January 1641 and ended in a victory for the Spanish troops.

Ullastrell is a village in the province of Barcelona and autonomous community of Catalonia, Spain. The population in 2014 was 2,056.

The Vicenç Ros Municipal Museum, in Martorell (Baix Llobregat), occupies one of the sections of an old Capuchin convent dating back to the 17th century and is part of Barcelona Provincial Council Local Museum Network. Opened in 1945, the museum came to be thanks to Vicenç Ros i Batllevell (1883–1970), who donated his large ceramics collection. Over the years, the museum has organised its collection into different categories, which it has expanded: ethnology, art, archaeology, architecture and archives.

The Pont del Diable (Spanish: Puente del Diablo, English: Devil's bridge), also known as Sant Bartomeu Bridge, is a medieval bridge crossing the river Llobregat and straddling the municipalities of Martorell and Castellbisbal in Catalonia, Spain. The bridge is restricted to pedestrians. The present bridge, featuring a large pointed arch, is a 1965 reconstruction of the gothic bridge built in 1283 on Roman foundations. The main clear span is 37.3 metres (122 ft) with a stone chapel on top. A secondary arch has a span of 19.1 metres (63 ft). The bridge was destroyed in 1939 during the Spanish Civil War by retreating Republican troops, but rebuilt in 1965 in a form generally similar to the gothic structure. It is now surrounded on three sides by road flyovers and railway lines. The original Roman bridge formed a part of the Via Augusta, and was the only bridge in the lower Llobregat valley until the 14th century. It still features a Roman triumphal arch at its eastern abutment. It is unclear how many spans the original Roman bridge had.

La Beguda Alta is a village integrated in the municipality of Masquefa in the comarca of the Anoia in Catalonia. It is on the road between Masquefa and Martorell, and is served by a station on the FGC railway line R6 between Barcelona and Igualada. Its population as of 2005 was 171.

Castellví de Rosanes is a municipality in the comarca of the Baix Llobregat in the province of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. As of 2016, the municipality had 1,807 inhabitants and was 16.4 km2, which includes the neighbourhoods of Els Àngels, Can Sunyer del Palau, Miralles, El Taió and Valldaina. Castellví de Rosanes is located between Martorell and Gelida, which ones are bigger cities both connected with Renfe.

The "No fem el CIM" (NFC) movement was founded in 2003 in the Penedès region of Catalonia. It was then that locals learned that the Catalan government wanted to construct a dry port between the towns of Banyeres del Penedès, l'Arboç i Sant Jaume dels Domenys. However, it was not until August 2005 that the movement began to take-off, gaining national recognition, spurred by the release of the government's 544 acre (220 hectare) plan for the inland port. Since then, members of the movement have held numerous protests as well as meetings with local and national government entities in an attempt to prevent dry port construction.

Can Parellada is a village which forms part of the municipality of Masquefa in the comarca of the Anoia in Catalonia, Spain. It is served by a station on the FGC railway line R6 between Barcelona and Igualada. Its population as of 2005 was 1343.
