The Bank of the Metropolis was a bank in New York City that operated between 1871 and 1918. The bank was originally located at several addresses around Union Square in Manhattan before finally moving to 31 Union Square West, a 16-story Renaissance Revival building designed by Bruce Price and built between 1902 and 1903.The bank building uses a tripartite facade design and neoclassical elements. After the Bank of the Metropolis merged into the Bank of Manhattan in 1918, the building continued to be used as an office tower. The upper stories were converted for residential use in 1976, while the ground level was later used as a restaurant. The Bank of the Metropolis building was designated a city landmark by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission in 1988, and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

91-93 Fifth Avenue is an eight-story store and loft building between East 16th Street and East 17 Street in the Ladies’ Mile Historic District of Manhattan in New York City. The building was designed by Louis Korn for Henry and Samuel Corn and built between 1895-1896. Previous tenants include the Oxford University Press (1900, 1905) and Clarendon Press (1905).

The Rand School of Social Science was formed in 1906 in New York City by adherents of the Socialist Party of America. The school aimed to provide a broad education to workers, imparting a politicizing class-consciousness, and additionally served as a research bureau, a publisher, and the operator of a summer camp for socialist and trade union activists. The school changed its name to the Tamiment Institute and Library in 1935 and it was closely linked to the Social Democratic Federation after the 1936 split of the Socialist Party. Its collection became a key component of today's Tamiment Library and Robert F. Wagner Archives at New York University in 1963.

The Decker Building (also the Union Building) is a commercial building located at 33 Union Square West in Manhattan, New York City. The structure was completed in 1892 for the Decker Brothers piano company, and designed by John H. Edelmann. From 1968 to 1973, it served as the location of the artist Andy Warhol's studio, The Factory. The Decker Building was designated a New York City landmark in 1988, and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

The Coffee Shop was a restaurant and bar located next to Union Square, New York City. Before The Coffee Shop opened, the building was home to a coffee shop and cafe called Chase. The owners of Chase had placed a large neon sign outside the building reading "Coffee Shop" and the new tenant took its name from the sign and left it attached to the building. The restaurant was known for being popular with celebrities and members of New York's fashion scene.In mid-2018, the restaurant's owners announced it would close in October 2018. It is one of several restaurants on Union Square that have closed due to rising rents.

The Judge Building, originally the Goelet Building, is a ten-story edifice built in 1888 at 110 Fifth Avenue and 16th Street in the Flatiron District of Manhattan, New York City. It is named after Judge magazine, which was printed there. It covers a site measuring 92 by 158.4 feet (28.0 by 48.3 m). It was designed by McKim, Mead, and White. The building was acquired by the New York Times Company in 1985, upon which it became occupied mostly by the Times Company magazine, Family Circle.

15 East (also known as 15 East at Tocqueville) is a Japanese restaurant at 1 East 15th Street in Union Square, Manhattan, New York City. The restaurant has received a Michelin star, but lost it in 2016.

The Clinton School is a New York City public middle and high school located in the Chelsea section of Manhattan, New York. It serves a student body of about 400 students between the 6th and 12th grades. The Clinton School is authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization to offer the IB Diploma Programme. As per the U.S. News 2018 High School Ranking, the Clinton School is one of the top high schools in the nation,. Applicants must succeed in an admission test, and satisfy other requirements according to the grade entered. For over twenty years Clinton was located on the top floor of the elementary school PS 11 but has now relocated to a new building near Union Square. As of the 2017-18 school year, the high school had an enrollment of 488 students and 34 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 14.4:1. There were 51 students (12% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch or reduced-cost lunch.
