Sunny Hills High School

Sunny Hills Performing Arts Center is a performing arts hall in Fullerton, California. It has a capacity for 360 people and regularly hosts concerts and is a venue for Sunny Hills High School. It is a notable venue for classical concerts in Orange County.Fullerton Friends of Music, the oldest chamber music society in Orange County, perform five concerts a year at the venue.

D. Russell Parks Junior High School is a junior high school located in Fullerton, California, United States. It serves students in seventh and eighth grade, and is part of the Fullerton School District. The school has been recognized on two separate occasions with a Blue Ribbon School Award of Excellence by the United States Department of Education, the highest award a North American school can receive. Parks' mascot is the Panther. As of the 2018-2019 school year, the school had 1050~1100 students and 38 teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student-teacher ratio of 24.6 compared to the average 19.3.When the school opened, the student population was over 90% Caucasian. With demographic changes in the ensuing years, the school has become majority minority; for 2003–04 its student body was 57% Asian, 13% Hispanic, 15% Caucasian, and 13% African American, and by 2013–14 it was 43% Asian, 29% Hispanic and African American, and 23% Caucasian.In 2018-19 it is 43.1% Asian, 28.5% Hispanic and African American, and 23.4% Caucasian. In 2023-2024, it was 73% Asian and Pacific Islander, 4% African American, 2% Indigenous American, 13% Caucasian, and 8% Hispanic. As documented in the school's application for its second Blue Ribbon award, student test scores greatly exceed state averages, exemplified by the fact that 88.7% of eighth graders taking the California State Standards Test scored "At or Above Proficient," in contrast to 12.4% of students statewide.Parks Junior High School mainly feeds into Sunny Hills High School, Troy High School, and Buena Park High School. All offer International Baccalaureate programs.

The Casbah Recording Studio or simply Casbah is a recording studio in the Orange County suburb of Fullerton, California that helped to spawn several highly successful acts, including Berlin, Stacey Q, and Social Distortion.

The West Coyote Hills is the area surrounding a ridge in northern Orange County, California. It contains one of the last large open-space area in north Orange County. Parts of it lie within the city limits of La Habra, Buena Park, and La Mirada, with most of it sprawling across western Fullerton between Ralph B. Clark Regional Park and Euclid Street north of Rosecrans Avenue. The foothill region to the east and south is known as Sunny Hills. There is also an East Coyote Hills area, on the east side of Fullerton, that has been almost completely developed for residential real estate. The remaining open-space area is currently the subject of a long-running dispute over residential development, pitting conservationists against a pro-development majority on the city council. A division of Chevron is currently proposing to develop the portions of the land that are suitable for development, while leaving the remainder as open space.

The Fullerton Fire Department is the agency that provides fire protection and emergency medical services for Fullerton, California. The department is responsible for an area of approximately 22 square miles (57 km2) that has a population of just over 135,000 as of 2010.

Fullerton ( FUUL-ər-tən) is a city located in northern Orange County, California, United States. As of the 2020 census, the city had a total population of 143,617.Fullerton was founded in 1887. It secured the land on behalf of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway. Historically it was a center of agriculture, notably groves of Valencia oranges and other citrus crops; petroleum extraction; transportation; and manufacturing. It is home to numerous higher educational institutions, particularly California State University, Fullerton and Fullerton College. From the mid-1940s through the late 1990s, Fullerton was home to a large industrial base made up of aerospace contractors, canneries, paper products manufacturers, and is considered to be the birthplace of the electric guitar, due in large part to Leo Fender. The headquarters of Vons, which is owned by Albertsons, is located in Fullerton near the Fullerton–Anaheim line.

Ralph B. Clark Regional Park is an urban park located in the cities of Fullerton and Buena Park, California. The park is maintained by Orange County Regional Parks, the government division that controls the regional parks in Orange County. The park is south of Rosecrans Avenue at the southern edge of the West Coyote Hills in Buena Park, but both a small section named Camel Hill next to the main park area south of Rosecrans and another small section of the park with six softball fields and a trail located north of Rosecrans Avenue are within Fullerton city limits. The park was originally opened as Los Coyotes Regional Park in 1981, and was renamed in 1987 after then-retiring Orange County Supervisor Ralph B. Clark (1917–2009).

The Fullerton Public Library (FPL), is a public library system that serves the City of Fullerton, California and its surrounding communities. The Library holds more than 200,000 volumes and serves a population of ca. 142,000. FPL is overseen by a Library Board of trustees with five members appointed by the City Council.

The historic Fullerton City Hall, at 237 W. Commonwealth Ave. in Fullerton, California, was built during 1939 to 1942. It was designed in Mission Revival style by influential architect G. Stanley Wilson, and was made of poured concrete. Ceramic tiles and terra cotta for the project were produced by Gladding, McBean and Company. The current city hall, at 303 W. Commonwealth Avenue, is a different building. The historic building has included the Fullerton Police Department, the Fullerton Jail and the Wayne H. Bornhoft Facility. It has served as a city hall, a courthouse, and a meeting hall.

Amerige Park is a public park and multi-purpose athletic facility located at 300 West Commonwealth Avenue in Fullerton, California. It sits on the site of the former Fullerton High School. It was named for the city founders, George and Edward Amerige. Amerige Park serves as the site of the Fullerton Community Center and Duane Winters Field.

St. Jude Medical Center is a faith-based, not-for-profit hospital, located in Fullerton, California, which was established by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange in 1957.Part of the St. Joseph Health System, St. Jude Medical Center serves as a quaternary and referral center for a variety of patient services, including one of California's only accredited programs in spinal cord injury, brain injury, and comprehensive stroke rehabilitation. Other areas of specialty include: high- and low-risk maternity, digestive diseases and GI surgery, orthopedics and joint replacement, neurosciences, women's health, rehabilitation, cardiac care, robotic and minimally-invasive surgery, and cancer care. In 2014, the hospital opened the $255 million Northwest Tower, which along with the Southwest Tower built several years earlier, created private patient rooms. Key areas of expansion included three entire floors dedicated to maternity services and another floor encompassing 14 "smart" surgical suites, including a "hybrid" cardiovascular suite with robotic c-arm imaging, and a dedicated neurosurgery suite with intraoperative MRI. Additional surgical technology includes da Vinci surgical robots as well as the superDimension robotic system for lung cancer treatment.
