West Betuwe

Geldermalsen (Dutch pronunciation: [ˌɣɛldərˈmɑlsə(n)] ) is a town and former municipality in the province of Gelderland in the Netherlands.

Geldermalsen is a railway station in the town of Geldermalsen, Netherlands. The station opened on 1 Nov 1868. The station is a junction, with an island platform for easy transfers. To reach the platforms from outside of the station, passengers must use a bridge. The current building dates from 1884. The station is at the junction of two lines: the Utrecht–Boxtel railway and the Elst–Dordrecht railway. The station is currently served by trains from Qbuzz and NS. Previously, Arriva served this station along with NS, but on 9 Dec 2018, Qbuzz took over services from Arriva.

Deil is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of West Betuwe, and lies about 12 km west of Tiel. Deil was a separate municipality until 1978, when it became a part of Geldermalsen. On januari 2019 Deil became part of a newly formed municipality, when the former municipalities of Geldermalsen, Neerijnen and Lingewaal joined together to form the municipality of West-Betuwe.In 2019, the village of Deil had 2.097 inhabitants. The built-up area of the village was 0.38 km², and contained 840 residences. There is a restored windmill in the village, De Vlinder.

Est is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of West Betuwe, and lies about 8 km west of Tiel. It was first mentioned in 1316 as Est. The etymology is unclear. The church dates from 1750 and has been restored in 1999. The village pump dates from around 1770, and is still in working order. In 1840, Est was home to 588 people.

Neerijnen (Dutch pronunciation: [neːˈrɛinə(n)] ) is a village and former municipality in the Netherlands. It is about 35 kilometres (22 mi) south of Utrecht and some 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) north of 's-Hertogenbosch. On 1 January 2019, it merged with Geldermalsen and Lingewaal to form the new municipality of West Betuwe.
