Kauppakeskus Viiri is a shopping mall in the southeast part of Klaukkala, Finland. It is the largest shopping centre in the Nurmijärvi municipality. The mall is divided into Big Viiri (Isoviiri) and Little Viiri (Pikkuviiri). In the spring, the Viiri Fair (Viirin Messut) is held annually in the shopping center. The fair has companies from the shopping center, as well as other stakeholders and sports clubs. An extension, including a Prisma hypermarket, and a new market were planned for the mall. These were to be realized with the construction of the Viirinlaakso area, but HOK-Elanto withdrew from the project and moved Klaukkala's old S-market to a nearby retail space.

Klaukkala Library (Finnish: Klaukkalan kirjasto; Swedish: Klövskog bibliotek) is a public library of the town of Klaukkala, located in the Nurmijärvi municipality in Uusimaa, Finland.

Harjula is a residential area of about 2,000 inhabitants in the southern part of Klaukkala in Nurmijärvi municipality, by the River Lepsämä and the road leading to Lahnus. There are spacious detached houses, terraced houses, small blocks of flats and some private services in the area. Harjula has an elementary school for about 250 students with grades 1–6, and kindergarten alongside of school. In the immediate vicinity of Harjula, in the direction of Klaukkala central, is the residential area called Syrjälä. Founded in 1976, the residents' association Harjula-Seura operates in Harjula.In the southern part of the Harjula area, near the Espoo border, an area of 44-acre is being planned by Circulation Oy for a bioterminal and utility material handling and transfer station. The construction project has sparked resistance among local residents, who have expressed concern about the effects of increasing heavy traffic, dust and potential harm to nature and the burden on the River Lepsämä. At the same time, residents are also concerned about the decline in property values.

Klaukkala church (Finnish: Klaukkalan kirkko, Swedish: Klövskogs kyrka) is a copper-plated modern church in Klaukkala of the Nurmijärvi municipality, built in 2004. The church was designed by Anssi Lassila; interior furniture and lamps were designed by interior architect Antti Paatero and liturgical textiles by Hanna Korvela. Mikko Heikka, a bishop of the Evangelic Lutheran Church, dedicated it on November 28, 2004. Construction claimed one death when a worker fell from the roof.Klaukkala Church was awarded the "Concrete of the Year" honorable mention in 2004.

The Klaukkala Orthodox Church (Finnish: Klaukkalan ortodoksinen kirkko; Swedish: Klövskog ortodoxa kyrka), also known as St. Nectarios Church (Finnish: Pyhän Nektarios Eginalaisen kirkko; Swedish: Sankt Nektarios kyrka), is the 20th-century wooden Orthodox church located in Klaukkala, an urban area in the Nurmijärvi municipality in Uusimaa, Finland. The church was named after the Greek saint Nectarios of Aegina. The church also keeps the relic of Nectarios.Kermesse is celebrated in the church annually on 9 November.

Klaukkala (Finnish: [ˈklɑu̯ˌkːɑlɑ]; Swedish: Klövskog [ˈklø̂ːvskuːɡ], Finland Swedish: [ˈkløːvskuːɡ]) is the southern-most urban area (Finnish: taajama) of the Nurmijärvi municipality in Uusimaa, Finland, located near Lake Valkjärvi. It is the largest urban area in Nurmijärvi, and despite the fact that it officially has the status of a village, it is often mistakenly thought to be a separate town due to its size and structure. In the 2010s, Klaukkala's urban area grew to be part of the larger Helsinki urban area. Klaukkala has a population of over 20,000 and is the fastest-growing area of Nurmijärvi; almost half of the total population of the municipality lives in Klaukkala. Its population began to rise in the 1960s, when it surpassed the church village of Nurmijärvi. In the 1970s, Klaukkala also grew larger than Rajamäki, which until then was the largest of Nurmijärvi's villages. At that time, Klaukkala's population was over 2,500. Klaukkala has significant migration mainly from the Helsinki conurbation; being a rural village a half-hour's drive away from the Helsinki centre, it especially attracts families with children. Unfortunately, due to the enormous population growth, the village is also infamous for its growing traffic, which causes local problems at the mornings and afternoons.In the early 2000s, many detached houses were built in Klaukkala, but the situation has changed as up to three-quarters of the new houses are apartment, terraced and semi-detached houses.

The Keimola Motor Stadium (Finnish: Keimolan moottorirata, Swedish: Käinby Motorstadion) was a dedicated race track located in Vantaa, Finland. It was founded by Finnish racing driver Curt Lincoln after the closure of the Eläintarha track in 1963. Construction started in 1965 and the track was opened on 12 June 1966. The track was 3.300 km (2.051 mi) long, consisting of eight turns and a 1 km (0.62 mi) home straight. Multiple racing series, including Formula Two, Formula Vee and Interserie, raced on the track during the years it was used. After many years of financial difficulties, the track was abandoned in late 1978. For many years of decay, there are plans to transform it into a residential area.

Serena Waterpark (Finnish: Vesipuisto Serena) is a water park located along to the Vihdintie road in the Lahnus district of Espoo, Finland. It was opened after extensive excavation and construction work in 1989. Serena is the largest indoor water park in the Nordic countries, and it is also one of the most popular travel destinations in Southern Finland, with more than 200,000 people visiting the water park every year.With the depression in Finland in the early 1990s, water park's original owner Serenaland Oy went bankrupt, and after that, the bankruptcy estate was transferred to Tervakoski's Puuhamaa in 1992. The current owner is Spanish Aspro Ocio S.A., to whom Puuharyhmä Oyj, which previously owned it, was sold in March 2007.The water park features a variety of water slides, patios and hot tubs, children's pools and sparkling rapids, and the sauna departments are located in a part of the water park excavated inside the rock. There are also restaurants and cafés in the area. The Serena Ski Center is open in winter. There are six cottages for rent all year round.The Serena Pop & Rock music festival was held in the area for the first time in 2014.

Mäntysalo (Finnish pronunciation: [ˈmæntyˌsɑlo], literally translated "pine woodland") is a residential area of about one thousand inhabitants in the northern part of Klaukkala in Nurmijärvi municipality. It is one of the largest growth areas in Klaukkala. Haikala and Ripatti, the other residential areas of Klaukkala, are located around Mäntysalo. The most important road connection to the center of Klaukkala is Kirkkotie, which divides the areas of Haikala and Mäntysalo. The future Klaukkala bypass, Klaukkalan kehätie, which is under construction, will pass north of Mäntysalo.

Königstedt Manor (Finnish: Königstedtin kartano or Swedish: Königstedt gård) is a historic manor house in Riipilä in the municipality of Vantaa, Finland, close to Helsinki. The mansion is located at the bank of the Vantaa river. Currently, it is used as a state guest house by the Finnish Government. It regularly serves as a venue for various meetings, negotiations and receptions.

Hotel Korpilampi is a hotel in Lahnus, Espoo, Finland, operated by Pandox. Construction of this first so-called "wilderness hotel" in the Helsinki capital region started in 1975 and the hotel was opened in 1977. The hotel became publicly known in connection with the Korpilampi seminar in 1977. The hotel has a total of 156 rooms and 17 conference halls. The hotel also has a restaurant, a spa and a health club. Lomaliitto, the previous owner of Hotel Korpilampi, went bankrupt in 2009. After the bankruptcy the hotel was closed for a year and a half until Pandox bought the hotel.

The Kivistö major region consists of ten districts: the central Kivistö, Lapinkylä, Seutula, Piispankylä, Riipilä, Kiila, Vestra, Luhtaanmäki, Keimola and Myllymäki. As of December 2021, the Kivistö major region has a total population of 17,410 and a population density of 240 inhabitants per square kilometre (620/sq mi). The Kivistö major region is the least populated—and the least densely populated—major region in Vantaa.
