Hart is a village and civil parish in County Durham, England, northwest of Hartlepool.

Hart railway station was a station that served the villages of Hart and Crimdon in County Durham, England. The station was built by the Hartlepool Dock & Railway as a stop on their main line between Hartlepool and Haswell but, under its successors, would later become a stop on the Hartlepool–Haswell–Sunderland, Hartlepool–Ferryhill and Durham Coast line.

Crimdon is a coastal village in County Durham, England. It is situated on the North Sea coast, between Blackhall Rocks and Hartlepool on the A1086 road.

Hart Bog (grid reference NZ452354) is a 1.79 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in County Durham, England notified in 1968. SSSIs are designated by Natural England, formally English Nature, which uses the 1974–1996 county system. This means there is no grouping of SSSIs by Hartlepool unitary authority or County Durham, the relevant ceremonial county. As such Hart Bog is one of 18 SSSIs in the Cleveland area of search.

Monk Hesleden is a village and civil parish in County Durham, England. The population of the parish at the 2011 Census was 5,722. The parish is situated to the north-west of Hartlepool, and is on the North Sea coast. Monk Hesleden village is situated a short distance to the south of High Hesleden. The parish has an area of 1,091.35 hectares (4.2137 sq mi) and includes the villages or hamlets of Blackhall Colliery, Blackhall Rocks, Crimdon, Hesleden, High Hesleden and Monk Hesleden. It has a parish council.

High Tunstall College of Science (formerly High Tunstall Comprehensive School) is a coeducational secondary school located in the West Park area of Hartlepool, County Durham, England.

Blackhall Rocks is a village on the North Sea coast of County Durham, North East England. It is situated on the A1086 between Horden and Hartlepool, and just south of Blackhall Colliery which it adjoins. It is sometimes referred to by locals in the area as "The Rocks". One of the earliest mentions of Blackhall Rocks is in the mid-19th century, when the beach was photographed. This was a time when the beach was part of a minor holiday resort, due to the location of a hotel above the cliffs. It was around this time a railway station was established here, which was closed in 1960. Adjacent to the station a siding and coal depot supplied coal from Blackhall Colliery 1 mile north to the surrounding area. The hotel remained up until the late 1960s when it was demolished, at a time when it had been used as flats, as a form of temporary housing, by Easington (district) Council, since the 1940s. Despite the presence of the hotel, it was not until the 1920s and 1930s that Blackhall Rocks really developed as a community and village, something which is itself evident driving down the "coast road" (the A1086). Most of the houses along this road were built for middle class commuters, hence the proliferation of semi-detached houses and bungalows. In the late 1930s the local council built a large council estate to the west of the coast road, around the road to High Hesleden. Later on in the 1960s and 1970s a series of new council homes were built to the east, between the coast road and the railway line.

Hart Station is the most northern area of Hartlepool in the borough of Hartlepool, County Durham, England. It is south of Crimdon, east of Hart and north of Throston. It is likely named after the former Hart railway station (1839-1953) around which it first developed.

Elwick is a village and civil parish in the borough of Hartlepool in County Durham, England. It is situated near the A19 road to the west of Hartlepool. Historically, Elwick was a township until 1866 when it became a civil parish.

Blackhall Rocks was one of two railway stations to have served the Blackhalls in County Durham, North East England, and was a stop on the Durham Coast Line. The station was poorly sited for the village that grew around Blackhall Colliery in the years following its opening and, after the opening of the more conveniently sited Blackhall Colliery station in 1936, it came to primarily serve the more southerly village of Blackhall Rocks.

West Park is a suburban area of Hartlepool, County Durham, in England. It is situated on the western fringes of Hartlepool.

Hartlepool Golf Club in England was established in 1906 and in 2006 celebrated its centenary year. The course is classified as a links course and is located on the north east coast. The course is 6202 yards long and par for the course is 70. The course record of 62 was recorded on 8 August 1997, by professional golfer Graeme Storm, the 1999 British Amateur Champion, who learned the game there.
