The Yasumiba site (休場遺跡, Yasumiba iseki) is an archaeological site with the traces of a Japanese Paleolithic period settlement located in what is now the Ashitaka neighborhood of the city of Numazu, Shizuoka in the Tōkai region of Japan. The site was designated a National Historic Site in 1979. It was the first site from the Japanese Paleolithic period to receive National Historic Site designation.

Ashitaka Park Stadium (愛鷹広域公園多目的競技場, Ashitaka Kōiki-kōen Tamokuteki Kyōgijō) is a multi-purpose athletic stadium in Numazu, Shizuoka, Japan. It is located in the Ashitaka Regional Park in Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. It is also used as a ball game field. The facility is owned by Shizuoka Prefecture and operated and managed by Nissan Creative Services as a designated administrator.

The school is particularly well known for its men's basketball and baseball clubs. The school's sumo club also has a long tradition, having been founded in the 70s, and has achieved numerous successes on the national scene.

Numazu Castle (沼津城, Numazu-jō) was a Japanese castle located in the city of Numazu, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. It was a hirayama-jō, a castle built on a plains rather than a hill or mountain. During the Edo period, Numazu castle was home to the Mizuno clan, daimyō of Numazu Domain under the Tokugawa shogunate.
