London Blues and Barrelhouse Club

The Rosy Wilde gallery was an artist-run project space, established in 2003 by British artist Stella Vine in a former butcher's shop below her house in east London, to showcase work by emerging artists. The gallery was not making money and Vine was expecting bailiffs, when one of her paintings of Diana, Princess of Wales, was bought by art collector Charles Saatchi to star in his New Blood show. This solved Vine's financial problems. The gallery was sold at auction in October 2004 and, in 2006, Vine opened a gallery of the same name in central London's Soho district. It closed some time later.

The 2i's Coffee Bar was a coffeehouse at 59 Old Compton Street in Soho, London, that was open from 1956 to 1970. It played a formative role in the emergence of Britain's skiffle and rock and roll music culture in the late 1950s, and several major stars including Tommy Steele and Cliff Richard were first discovered performing there.

Isow's was a restaurant based at 8–10 Brewer Street, Soho, London, England. A popular misconception is that it was a kosher restaurant; it was not, but it did serve several Jewish dishes alongside its regular menu. The restaurant was owned by Jack Isow and, when he died, it was passed on to his son, Norman; a popular venue for the entertainment industry. In 1969, Jack Isow married actress Sheree Winton. Regular celebrity patrons would have their names embossed in gold on the back of red chairs; they included Danny Kaye, Walt Disney, Frank Sinatra, Jack Solomons, Cyd Charisse, Rod Steiger, Judy Garland and Bette Davis.The restaurant occupied the ground floor of the building. The basement housed the 'Jack Of Clubs' nightclub, named after Jack Isow. Angelo Dundee was a regular patron of Isow's, and held a press conference with Muhammad Ali there.Cabaret venue and nightclub Madame JoJo's now occupies the site where Isow's stood.

Madame Jojo's was a venue for cabaret, burlesque, drag shows, and live music located on Brewer Street in the Soho area of the City of Westminster in the West End of London. It was opened in 1986 by Paul Raymond. It closed in November 2014, after its licence was revoked. This was due to a bouncer having been accused of pulling out baseball bats to attack a group throwing glass bottles outside of the venue, although he was later cleared of assault. After a new license was granted in December 2019, in July 2022 it was reported that the club would reopen in "spring 2023", however this failed to happen and there has as yet been no further news. Supporters of the club believed the decision to close the venue permanently was influenced by the local council's negative attitude toward the older, late-licence venues in the area and a desire to curb some of that nightlife.

The Intrepid Fox was a pub at 97–99 Wardour Street, Soho, London, established in 1784 by the publican Samuel House, who named it after the prominent British Whig statesman Charles James Fox. The pub was located on the corner of Wardour Street and Peter Street. During the general election of 1784, House provided free drink to the public.More recently, it was a goth pub which also hosted heavy metal gigs. It closed in 2006, when the owner Mitchells & Butlers sold the building to property developers.The Wardour Street building it formerly occupied is clad in faience, including a faience relief of Charles James Fox. As of 2017, the premises were in use as a branch of the Byron hamburger chain.

Comptons of Soho is a gay pub in London. Situated at 51–53 Old Compton Street in the heart of Soho's 'Gay village', Comptons has been an integral part of London's gay scene since June 1986.

The Sondheim Theatre (formerly the Queen's Theatre) is a West End theatre located in Shaftesbury Avenue on the corner of Wardour Street in the City of Westminster, London. It opened as the Queen's Theatre on 8 October 1907, as a twin to the neighbouring Hicks Theatre (now the Gielgud Theatre) which had opened ten months earlier. Both theatres were designed by W. G. R. Sprague. The theatre was Grade II listed by English Heritage in June 1972.In 2019 the theatre's name was changed from the Queen's to the Sondheim Theatre (after Stephen Sondheim) after a 20 week refurbishment. The theatre reopened on 18 December 2019.

Walker's Court is a pedestrian street in the Soho district of the City of Westminster, London. The street dates from around the early 1700s and escaped modernisation in the late nineteenth century so that it retains its original narrow layout. In the twentieth century the small shops that traded from the street gradually closed and from the late 1950s the street became associated with Soho's sex trade. The Raymond Revuebar opened in 1958 and closed in 2004. There are now plans to redevelop the street.

The Raymond Revuebar (1958–2004) was a theatre and strip club at 11 Walker's Court (now the location of The Box Soho nightclub), in the centre of London's Soho district. For many years, it was the only venue in London that offered full-frontal, on-stage nudity of the sort commonly seen in other cities in Europe and North America. Its huge brightly lit sign declaring it to be the "World Centre of Erotic Entertainment" made the Revuebar a local landmark. In 1980, the Boulevard Theatre section of the venue was hired by comic actor Peter Richardson to stage his alternative comedy revue, The Comic Strip. This attracted a younger punk audience to the venue. In 1989, the Boulevard became Eddie Izzard's stand-up venue. In the 1990s, the Revuebar struggled, with its dated image and competition from newer venues such as Spearmint Rhino and Stringfellow's. The name and leasehold was bought by Gérard Simi in 1997. The Revuebar closed on 10 June 2004 and became a gay bar and cabaret venue called Too2Much, designed by Anarchitect. In November 2006, it changed its name to Soho Revue Bar and was the home of club nights and special events. On 29 January 2009, the Soho Revue Bar closed, reopening in February 2011 as The Box Soho, billed as "A theatre of varieties", under the ownership of Simon Hammerstein.

Meard Street is a street in Soho, London. It runs roughly east–west (properly, east-northeast to west-southwest, as elsewhere in Soho), between Wardour Street to the west and Dean Street to the east. It is in two sections, with a slight bend in the middle: the west half is pedestrianised, while the east half is a narrow, single-lane road. The street is named after John Meard, the younger, a carpenter, later esquire, who developed it in the 1720s and 1730s.It is prominently featured in photographs and postcards for the tourist trade, due to the pun with French: merde and Italian: merda ("shit"). 15 Meard Street served as the exterior of the home occupied by characters played by Ian McKellen and Derek Jacobi in the 2013–16 ITV sitcom Vicious.

Café Monico was a restaurant on London's Shaftesbury Avenue. It was originally established in 1877 at 15 Tichborne Street in 1877 by the brothers Giacomo and Battista Monico.The first World Weightlifting Championships, then known as the International Amateur Weight Lifting Championship, was held at the Café Monico in 1891, and the Climbers' Club was formed there in 1897.The banquet for the London 1899 chess tournament took place there.After some time as the nightclub Avalon, a refurbished Cafe Monico reopened under the new ownership of Soho House in April 2016. It became a two-floor restaurant serving European dishes under the supervision of consultant chef Rowley Leigh.The restaurant closed permanently in 2021.
