The Scottish Rite Dormitory (SRD) is a private women's dorm for the University of Texas built and operated by the Scottish rite of Freemasons in Austin, Texas. Located just north of campus on 27th Street and Whitis Avenue, the colonial revival style building was completed in 1922 during a housing shortage on campus and was intended to provide housing for the daughters and relatives of Master Masons. Since its origin the building has relaxed its entry requirements somewhat, but is still well known among UT students for its strict rules only allowing male visitors during certain hours. Many girls are wait-listed for entry to the dorm beginning in high school or earlier. Residents are often referred to as SaRDines. The dorm also employees young men as waiters and dishwashers.Old jokes about poor institutional food, especially in dormitories have never applied to SRD. Girls who have lived there usually mention the food first when expressing their feelings about the dormitory. One special dessert every SRD alumni nostalgically remembers is Chocolate Crumble Balls (CCB's). In addition to daily meals, the kitchen staff prepared special refreshments for birthday dinners, pajama parties, and other special occasions, such as the spring formal.

All Saints' Episcopal Church (also known as All Saints' Chapel) is a historic Episcopal parish church in Austin, Texas, United States. Built in 1899 on the edge of the University of Texas at Austin campus, the church has long-standing connections with the university's student body and faculty. The chapel was a project of Episcopal Bishop George Herbert Kinsolving, whose crypt is located under the church. It has been designated as a City of Austin Historic Landmark since 1980 and a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark since 2014, and it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

Clock Knot is an outdoor painted steel sculpture by Mark di Suvero, installed on the University of Texas at Austin campus, in Austin, Texas, United States. The approximately 40-foot (12 m) sculpture was installed along Dean Keeton Street in 2007.

Kirby Hall School is a private pre K through 12th grade college preparatory school located in Austin, Texas on the historic grounds of Helen M. Kirby Hall. Dr. and Mrs. Howard F. Rase founded Kirby Hall School in 1976 as a school for academically advanced students.

Burdine Hall is a building on the University of Texas at Austin campus, in the U.S. state of Texas. The classroom and office building is named after J. Alton Burdine, a former dean of the University of Texas College of Arts and Sciences, and has previously been referred to as the North Campus Classroom-Office. The hall reportedly cost $2.1 million and has previously housed the departments of anthropology, government, and sociology, as well as student financial aid offices. There is a local urban legend that the layout of the building's windows was intended to resemble a computer punched card. Physics, Math, and Astronomy Building (abbreviated PMA; formerly known as Robert Lee Moore Hall or RLM) is a high rise building on the University of Texas at Austin campus, in the U.S. state of Texas. The building was completed in 1972, and houses the astronomy, mathematics, and physics departments.The building was originally named after mathematician Robert Lee Moore. In 2016, students demanded the building be renamed because of Moore's racist treatment of African American students. On July 13, 2020, during the George Floyd protests, University Interim President Jay Hartzell announced that the building would be renamed as the Physics, Math and Astronomy Building.

The Moody Pedestrian Bridge is a pedestrian bridge in Austin, Texas on the campus of the University of Texas at Austin. It connects two buildings within the Moody College of Communication across a street.

Raul's was a live music nightclub at 2610 Guadalupe Street in Austin, Texas in the late 1970s and early 1980s, which started off as a Chicano music venue, but then specialized in punk rock music. The location is near the University of Texas campus.It was the first club of its kind in the city and, for a time, the only venue for punk/new wave bands. The more successful bands from that scene were the ones who broadened their fan base by also playing at other Austin venues, such as the Continental Club, Soap Creek and the Armadillo World Headquarters.

The Cockrell School of Engineering is one of the eighteen colleges within the University of Texas at Austin. It has more than 8,000 students enrolled in eleven undergraduate and thirteen graduate programs. The college is ranked 10th in the world according to the Academic Ranking of World Universities, 11th nationally for undergraduate programs and 10th nationally for graduate programs by U.S. News & World Report. Nine of the ten undergraduate programs and seven of the eleven graduate programs are ranked in the top ten nationally. Annual research expenditures are over $180 million and the school has the fourth-largest number of faculty in the National Academy of Engineering.Previously known as the College of Engineering, on July 11, 2007, the University of Texas at Austin renamed the College after 1936 graduate Ernest Cockrell Jr., whose family has over the past 30 years helped to build a $140 million endowment for the College.

The Moody College of Communication is the communication college at The University of Texas at Austin. The college is home to top-ranked programs in advertising and public relations, communication studies, communication sciences and disorders, journalism, and radio-television-film. The Moody College is nationally recognized for its faculty members, research and student media. It offers seven undergraduate degrees, including those in Journalism, Advertising, and Radio-Television-Film, and 17 graduate programs. The Moody College of Communication operates out of the Jesse H. Jones Communication Complex and the Dealey Center for New Media, which opened in November 2012. The college has a $106 million endowment as of April 14, 2016.

The Department of Radio–Television–Film at the University of Texas at Austin located in Austin, Texas, is one of the five departments comprising the Moody College of Communication. The department was founded in 1965 and has become one of the nation's premiere film schools, consistently ranking in the top 5 for graduate programs and the top 10 for undergraduate studies. The department has a very selective admissions policy, accepting fewer than 25% of applicants in its undergraduate program, and fewer than 15% of applicants in its graduate programs. The film school offers an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in a variety of disciplines, as well as offering the nation's top MFA and Ph.D. level programs at the graduate level.

The J.T. Patterson Labs Building (PAT) is a building on the University of Texas at Austin campus, in the U.S. state of Texas. The building was completed in 1967.
