The Horace Baker Log Cabin is a historic log cabin located near Carver, Oregon, United States. It was built around 1856 by American pioneer Horace Baker.The cabin was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

The school itself was built in 2002, replacing an older, smaller building built in 1957 which is now Alder Creek Middle School. Starting in the 2010–2011 school year, the campus included the former building of Sunrise Middle School. Camp Withycombe, located in Clackamas County, Oregon, United States, was originally established as Camp Benson after Governor Frank W. Benson, but was later renamed Camp Withycombe during World War I for Governor James Withycombe.Originally known as the Clackamas Rifle Range, it was established as a training camp in 1909 and expanded during World War I, during which it served as a headquarters for the National Guard, a central supply depot and training center. Pendleton, Oregon photographer Walter S. Bowman photographed Camp Benson in the early 20th century.In the 1930s, the camp became a supply depot. Some of the buildings on the camp property, such as the Adjutant General's house (1938), were built by the Works Progress Administration (WPA). The camp still serves as a training facility, supply depot, and equipment repair facility for the National Guard, but the rifle range is now closed.

The population was approximately 7,000 as of 2010. Clackamas is home to Camp Withycombe, which is a military base, and to a branch of the Kaiser Permanente Hospital.

Damascus is a census-designated place and former city in Clackamas County, Oregon, United States. Established in 1867, it was incorporated in 2004 in an effort to enable local land use decision-making control by the community. Its residents voted to disincorporate in 2016, and, after a legal challenge, its disincorporation was completed in 2020. Damascus is located east of Happy Valley and Interstate 205 and west of Boring. The population was 11,050 residents as of the 2020 census.

Mount Talbert is a volcanic cinder cone in Clackamas County, Oregon. It is part of the Boring Lava Field, a zone of ancient volcanic activity in the area around Portland. Its summit rises to an elevation of 740+ ft (230+ m). The butte remains undeveloped and is the location of a nature park of the same name which is managed by North Clackamas Parks & Recreation District. The park has 4.2 miles (6.8 km) of hiking trails, including Park Loop, Summit and West Ridge Trail, along which there are several instructive signs about the area's natural resources. In 2005 the recreation district began promoting regrowth of more fire resistant white oak by girdling and removing Douglas firs, which impede the growth of the oaks by shading out the sun.
