The A444 is a primary road running between Coventry and Burton upon Trent in England, usually referred to as the "A treble four" or "A triple four".

Sibson (otherwise Sibstone or Sibston) is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Sheepy, in the Hinckley and Bosworth district, in western Leicestershire, England, close to the border with North Warwickshire. It is situated approximately midway between the towns of Hinckley and Measham, and slightly northeast of Atherstone. In 1931 the parish had a population of 264.

Atterton is a hamlet and former civil parish, now in the parish of Witherley, in the Hinckley and Bosworth district, in the county of Leicestershire, England. It has a population of approximately 40 people. In 1931 the parish had a population of 43.

Fenny Drayton (once Drayton-in-the-Clay) is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Witherley, in the Hinckley and Bosworth district of Leicestershire, England. It lies near the Warwickshire boundary, three miles south-east of Atherstone in the Coventry postcode area, just off the A444, the Roman Watling Street. Another Roman road crosses at the end of the scenic Fenn Lanes. The village is four miles from Stoke Golding, where Henry VII of England was crowned after the Battle of Bosworth in 1485. The reinterment of Richard III of England on 21 March 2015 started along Fenn Lanes, near the village. In 1931 the parish had a population of 125. On 1 April 1935 the parish was abolished and merged with Witherley, parts also went to Hartshill, Mancetter and Caldecote. The name means "farm/settlement for portage" or "farm/settlement used as a dragging place". "Fenny" reflects the fen-like ground along the Roman road.

Lindley Hall Farm is a farm in Leicestershire, England, in close proximity to Fenny Drayton and Higham on the Hill. The farm is owned by Stephen Farmer. It has been best known as the geographical centre of England since the Ordnance Survey's investigation in 2002. A plaque has been erected by the Ordnance Survey denoting the geographical central point and disputing the historically believed idea that Meriden was the geographical centre.

Shenton is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Dadlington and Sutton Cheney, in the Hinckley and Bosworth district, in the county of Leicestershire, England, situated 2.20 miles (3.54 km) south-west of Market Bosworth. Shenton was formerly a chapelry and township of the parish of Market Bosworth. The settlement is almost entirely agricultural, containing several farms. Much of the land has been in the same family since William Wollaston purchased the manor in 1625. It is essentially a privately owned estate village and has seen comparatively little modern development. It has been designated a conservation area. The settlement lies either side of the Sence Brook, which is crossed by a picturesque Victorian bridge. The area is fairly flat, and subject to flooding. In 1931 the parish had a population of 154.

Royal Air Force Lindley or more simply RAF Lindley is a former Royal Air Force station situated in Leicestershire 8.1 miles (13.0 km) south east of Polesworth, Warwickshire, England in close proximity to Watling Street.The airfield opened in 1943 before closing in 1946.

Shenton Hall is a country house within the village of Shenton, in Leicestershire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building.

It provides product engineering, research, testing, information and certification services to the automotive sector. Its headquarters are in the MIRA Technology Park Enterprise Zone. On 14 July 2015 MIRA announced that it was being bought by the Japanese-owned testing equipment group Horiba.

Higham on the Hill railway station is a disused railway station on the former Ashby and Nuneaton Joint Railway. It served the village of Higham on the Hill. It closed in 1931 to passengers but goods continued to pass through until 1962 when the line was closed from Shenton to Nuneaton via Stoke Golding and Higham on the Hill closed. The site is now occupied by an industrial estate but the station masters house remains as a private residence.

Stoke Golding railway station is a disused railway station on the former Ashby and Nuneaton Joint Railway. It served the village of Stoke Golding. It closed in 1931 to passengers but closed to parcel traffic in 1951. Goods continued to pass through until 1962 when the line was closed from Shenton to Stoke Golding. The site is now a private residence and the goods yard is now an industrial estate.

Kendall's Meadow is a 2.7-hectare (6.7-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north of Stoke Golding in Leicestershire.Over a dozen grass species grow on this traditionally managed hay meadow, such as common bent, red fescue, crested dog's tail and yellow oat grass. There are also many herbs including cat's ear and yellow rattle.The site is private land with no public access.
