The A444 is a primary road running between Coventry and Burton upon Trent in England, usually referred to as the "A treble four" or "A triple four".

Upton, is a small hamlet and former civil parish, now in the parish of Sheepy, in the Hinckley and Bosworth district, in the county of Leicestershire, England. It is on the Leicestershire and Warwickshire border west of Shenton and south-east of Sibson. In 1931 the parish had a population of 104.The local area is predominantly agricultural. Upton is a ribbon development with a mixture of Georgian, Victorian and more modern properties along Main Road. There is a caravan park and restaurant both operated by Upton Barn. The hamlet has one post box. Administratively, Upton falls under Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council and Leicestershire County Council

Atterton is a hamlet and former civil parish, now in the parish of Witherley, in the Hinckley and Bosworth district, in the county of Leicestershire, England. It has a population of approximately 40 people. In 1931 the parish had a population of 43.

Sheepy Fields is a 4.9-hectare (12-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north of Sheepy Magna in Leicestershire.The two hay meadows in this site are on post-glacial river terrace deposits. There are diverse herbs such as lady's mantle, adder's tongue, hayrattle, pepper saxifrage, bulbous buttercup and cowslip.The site is private land with no public access.

Fenny Drayton (once Drayton-in-the-Clay) is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Witherley, in the Hinckley and Bosworth district of Leicestershire, England. It lies near the Warwickshire boundary, three miles south-east of Atherstone in the Coventry postcode area, just off the A444, the Roman Watling Street. Another Roman road crosses at the end of the scenic Fenn Lanes. The village is four miles from Stoke Golding, where Henry VII of England was crowned after the Battle of Bosworth in 1485. The reinterment of Richard III of England on 21 March 2015 started along Fenn Lanes, near the village. In 1931 the parish had a population of 125. On 1 April 1935 the parish was abolished and merged with Witherley, parts also went to Hartshill, Mancetter and Caldecote. The name means "farm/settlement for portage" or "farm/settlement used as a dragging place". "Fenny" reflects the fen-like ground along the Roman road.

Congerstone () is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Shackerstone, in the Hinckley and Bosworth district, in Leicestershire, England. It is three miles north west of Market Bosworth, of which it was historically a daughter parish. It is near the Ashby-de-la-Zouch Canal and the A444 road. In 1931 the parish had a population of 209.The Grade II* listed parish church of St Mary the Virgin dates back to 1179, although the current building is largely from the 16th century and was remodelled in the 19th century. The patron of the church was formerly the Curzon family of Earl Howe who also helped fund the village school. The church includes a monument by Sir George Frampton, dedicated to Georgiana, Countess Howe, first wife of Richard Curzon, 4th Earl Howe. The village has one school, Congerstone Primary School, on Shackerstone Road.

Bilstone is a small village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Shackerstone, in the Hinckley and Bosworth district of Leicestershire, England. It is approximately 12 miles (19 km) west from the county town and city of Leicester, and 2 miles (3.2 km) east from Twycross and the A444 road. In 1931 the parish had a population of 68.The village's name means 'farm/settlement of Bildr' or 'farm/settlement on a corner or angle'.A half mile to the south, on Gibbet Lane, is a gibbet post, dating from 1800. The post was close to a contemporary murder. At the west of the village is a Grade II listed early 19th-century farmhouse. At the north of the village on Mill Lane is a disused 18th-century watermill, with adjoined 19th-century buildings. The mill was operational in the 1950s; today its machinery doesn't exist.Bilstone is listed in the Domesday Book as in the Guthlaxton Hundred of Leicestershire, with two ploughlands, three households and three freemen. In 1066 Countess Godiva was Lord, she remaining as such in 1086, also becoming Tenant-in-chief to William I.In 1870-1872 Bilston was a township in the parish of Norton Juxta Twycross with a population of 116 and 25 houses.In 1866 Bilstone became a parish in its own right, on 1 April 1935 the parish was abolished and merged with Shackerstone.John Grundy, Sr., land surveyor and civil engineer, was born in Bilstone c. 1696.

Sheepy is a civil parish in the Borough of Hinckley and Bosworth in Leicestershire, England. It contains the villages of Sheepy Magna, Sheepy Parva, Sibson, Wellsborough, Upton, Pinwall and Cross Hands—collectively 449 homes. At the 2001 census, the parish had a population of 1,192, including Orton on the Hill but falling slightly to 1,174 at the 2011 census.

In 1931 the parish had a population of 184.The village has the Church of England parish church of All Saints, a pub called The Gate, a post office and a greyhound kennels.

The River Tweed is a short tributary of the River Sence. It rises around the west of the village of Barwell, Leicestershire, England and flows westwards, crossing the A447 at Abraham's Bridge.The Tweed is synonymous with many of the small rivers that rise in West Leicestershire. Starting from a number of small springs, it is not unknown for the river to flood, and as its source is in an urban area the flooding can hit a wide area. The river meanders gently through the West Leicestershire flood plains, passing near the villages of Dadlington, Shenton, Sibson and to Ratcliffe Culey where it flows into the River Sence and thenceforth into the River Anker, itself a tributary of the River Tame. At its source a rain drop could fall either side of a hill; on one side it takes a circuitous route via the Tweed, but on the other side it will flow via the River Soar to the Trent, although its eventual route is similar.

Twycross is a small village and civil parish in the Hinckley and Bosworth district, in Leicestershire, England, on the A444 road. Situated in the far west of the county and close to the North Warwickshire border, the population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 850. The civil parish includes the villages of Norton Juxta Twycross and Orton on the Hill and the hamlets of Little Orton and Little Twycross, as well as Twycross Zoo, and the selective, private Twycross House School. The Twycross Cricket Club is a village club with a 1st and 2nd XI who play in the Leicestershire Senior League. It also has a Sunday XI which plays many friendly games throughout the season. The 1st team XI play regularly in the Premier division, whilst the 2nd team XI play in division 3, which hosts a 1st team and 2nd teams while also holding a Sunday friendly team. It has a youth set-up with under-15, under-13, and under-11 teams. The church of St. James contains the oldest stained glass in England, originally from Sainte-Chapelle, Saint-Denis, and Le Mans Cathedral. The earliest glass is c. 1145 from Saint-Denis, the panels having been presented to William IV who gave them to Earl Howe, who got the glazier Thomas Willement to arrange and install them in the church during its restoration in the 1840s. Twycross is the home of Rare, a video game developer owned by Xbox Game Studios.

Lindley Hall Farm is a farm in Leicestershire, England, in close proximity to Fenny Drayton and Higham on the Hill. The farm is owned by Stephen Farmer. It has been best known as the geographical centre of England since the Ordnance Survey's investigation in 2002. A plaque has been erected by the Ordnance Survey denoting the geographical central point and disputing the historically believed idea that Meriden was the geographical centre.
