The Vancouver Land Bridge connects Vancouver Waterfront Park to the Vancouver, Washington portion of the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site using a path similar to an ancient Native American trail. The bridge, which spans Highway 14, has been described as "the most visible part of the larger" Confluence Project.Designed and built as a collaborative effort between Pacific Northwest Native American tribes and architects Johnpaul Jones and Maya Lin, the bridge is 1/3rd of a mile long and the location specifically chosen by Native American tribes in the Columbia River watershed to mark a cultural and spiritual symbolic area.

Fort Vancouver was a 19th-century fur trading post that was the headquarters of the Hudson's Bay Company's Columbia Department, located in the Pacific Northwest. Named for Captain George Vancouver, the fort was located on the northern bank of the Columbia River in present-day Vancouver, Washington. The fort was a major center of the regional fur trading. Every year trade goods and supplies from London arrived either via ships sailing to the Pacific Ocean or overland from Hudson Bay via the York Factory Express. Supplies and trade goods were exchanged with a plethora of Indigenous cultures for fur pelts. Furs from Fort Vancouver were often shipped to the Chinese port of Guangzhou where they were traded for Chinese manufactured goods for sale in the United Kingdom. At its pinnacle, Fort Vancouver watched over 34 outposts, 24 ports, six ships, and 600 employees. Today, a full-scale replica of the fort, with internal buildings, has been constructed and is open to the public as Fort Vancouver National Historic Site.

The Old Apple Tree was an apple tree in Vancouver, Washington, United States, purported to be the oldest apple tree in the Pacific Northwest. Genetic testing determined that the apples produced are unique and distantly related to the 500-year-old French Reinette variety.

The Clark County Veterans War Memorial is installed in the Vancouver, Washington portion of the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site, in the United States.

Vancouver Waterfront is a proposed station on TriMet's MAX Light Rail system as well as a proposed bus depot for C-Tran in the Portland metropolitan area. The station will be built in Vancouver, Washington, just across the Columbia River from Portland, Oregon, and is proposed to be the first MAX station outside of Oregon. It will be built as part of the Interstate Bridge Replacement Program. Based on the proposal, the station, at about 75 feet, would be the second highest rapid transit station in the United States after Smith–Ninth Streets station in New York City. The station would be located between E Evergreen Boulevard and E 8th Street to the north and south, and Reserve Street and C Street to the east and west, adjacent to Interstate 5.

The Firsts Monument is installed along Officers Row in the Vancouver, Washington portion of the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. The monument, erected by the Washington State Historical Society in 1925, commemorates several "firsts" to occur at Fort Vancouver, within the Washington Territory, including the first military post, school, and sermon delivery.

Fort Vancouver National Historic Site is a United States National Historic Site located in the states of Washington and Oregon. The National Historic Site consists of two units, one located on the site of Fort Vancouver in modern-day Vancouver, Washington; the other being the former residence of John McLoughlin in Oregon City, Oregon. The two sites were separately given national historic designation in the 1940s. The Fort Vancouver unit was designated a National Historic Site in 1961, and was combined with the McLoughlin House into a unit in 2003.

The Evergreen Hotel is a former hotel located in Vancouver, Washington. At the time when it was built, it was the only hotel located between Portland, Oregon and Olympia, Washington.The hotel declined and eventually closed in the late 1970s. In 1987, it was converted into retirement housing. Today the building is closed to the public, although still a dominant feature in the historic South Main District in Vancouver.

The Chkalov Transpolar Flight Monument, or simply Chkalov Monument, is a monument installed outside the Pearson Air Museum, in the Vancouver, Washington portion of the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. The memorial commemorates the first transpolar flight, completed in 1937, and was dedicated in 1975.

Officers Row, a part of the Vancouver National Historic Reserve Historic District, is a congregation of 21 of the former homes of U.S. military officers stationed at the Vancouver Barracks in Vancouver, Washington. The oldest of the homes, named the Grant House (after Ulysses S. Grant, who was stationed at the barracks as a Captain at that time but never lived in the house), dates from 1846, and the last edifice was constructed in 1906. In the 1970s a grassroots campaign to refurbish the dilapidated properties began to appear, and the site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. In 1980, the U.S. Army declared it a surplus, and it was henceforth deeded to the city for one dollar. A $10.9 million rehabilitation effort proceeded in 1987. Today these homes have been fully restored, and now house several commercial and 34 residential rental spaces.

The House of Providence, also known as The Academy (or Academy building), is a former orphanage and school located in Vancouver, Washington. It was built c. 1873 by Mother Joseph of the Sacred Heart.

The Captain George Vancouver Monument Plaza is a memorial plaza along Vancouver, Washington's Waterfront Park, in the United States. The plaza features Jay Rood's 1992 sculpture Boat of Discovery. Made of metal, concrete, and brick, the artwork's dedication "coincided with the bicentennial celebration of the exploration and naming of the Columbia River in 1792". The site and sculpture, also known as the Captain George Vancouver Monument, have been included in walking tours of Vancouver.
