Chapel Common

Tuxlith Chapel, also known as Milland Old Church, is a redundant Anglican church in the village of Milland, West Sussex, England (grid reference SU 825 282). It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building, and is under the care of the Friends of Friendless Churches.

Forest Mere is a 14.6-hectare (36-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north of Midhurst in West Sussex.The site consists of Folly Pond and surrounding woodland, heath and bog. Natural England describes it as notable for its outstanding assemblage of dragonflies, with 17 species recorded, and 49 breeding birds, including heath and woodland species such as European stonechat, wood warbler and tree pipit.The site is private land but it is crossed by a public footpath.

Weaversdown or Weavers Down is an area of high ground in Hampshire, England, situated 2 miles (3 km) to the west of Liphook. It neighbours the Longmoor Military Camp. It formerly had a railway station on the Longmoor Military Railway, but the line was closed in 1969.

The Old Thorns Hotel and Resort is a hotel and leisure resort in Hampshire, England, close to Liphook and the A3 trunk road. The Old Thorns estate (which later become a hotel, golf and leisure resort) was previously the property of Ken Wood, inventor of the Kenwood food mixer, in the late 1950s. It was another 24 years before a golf course was constructed on the 400-acre site.Commander John Harris was commissioned to build the golf course in the 1970s but his death meant that the task was passed to Peter Alliss and Dave Thomas. The new design team had just completed the Lansdowne and Brabazon courses at the Belfry so were regarded as rising stars in this field. Once completed, a course launch was arranged involving Bill Rogers, Jack Nicklaus, Seve Ballesteros and Isao Aoke.

Griggs Green is a hamlet in the East Hampshire district of Hampshire, England. It is in the civil parish of Bramshott and Liphook. It is 1 mile (1.7 km) west of Liphook, just south of the A3 road. The nearest railway station is 1.3 miles (2.2 km) southeast of the village, at Liphook.

Milland is a village and civil parish in the Chichester district of West Sussex, England. It is situated north of the A272 road on the border with Hampshire. In the 2001 census the parish covered 5,023 acres (20.33 km2) and had 332 households with a total population of 829 of whom 394 residents were economically active. At the 2011 Census the population was 891.The village lies along a section of the Chichester to Silchester Way Roman road, almost the only part to have survived in modern use. At the southern end of the village the boundary banks of a mansio, a Roman posting station on the road, are visible.The parish has an Anglican church, St. Luke's, the independent Milland Evangelical Church (MEC) and the disused Tuxlith Chapel which is in the care of a national charity the Friends of Friendless Churches.

Weaversdown Halt railway station is a former railway station, on the Longmoor Military Railway, which served the eastern side of Longmoor Military Camp. The station did not appear on Ordnance Survey mapping throughout its life and did not have signs on the platform, it was variously known as Weaversdown, Weavers Down and Weaver Down sometimes with the additional Junction and sometimes with Halt.The station opened when the Longmoor Military Railway (LMR) extended its line to Liss, work started on the extension in 1924 and it was completed by August 1933.It is situated to the North of a branch curving away to the East and consisted initially of a passing loop with one platform built from sleepers being added later, there was a shelter and a block post, the Army's name for a signal box.The station was closed along with the rest of the line on 31 October 1969.

Woolmer Forest is a 1,298.5-hectare (3,209-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest south of Bordon in Hampshire and West Sussex. It is also a Special Area of Conservation and part of the Wealden Heaths Phase II Special Protection Area. Two areas are Nature Conservation Review sites, Grade I.It is part of the former royal hunting forest of Woolmer. It lies within the western Weald in the South Downs National Park, straddling the border between east Hampshire and West Sussex. Historically a largely treeless heathland on sterile sandy soils, the forest was traditionally managed, like other royal forests, as "wood pasture" in which deer would be kept for hunting by the aristocracy for sport and for venison, and where commoners were permitted to graze their livestock. The forest today consists of both dry and humid lowland heath. It contains the largest and most diverse area of lowland heathland habitats outside the New Forest and is considered to be the most important area of heathland in the Weald of southern England; it is the only site in England known to support all twelve known native species of reptiles and amphibians, and it supports a nationally important heathland flora with associated birds and invertebrate fauna.Woolmer village lies within the confines of the forest.

Bohunt School is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form located in the rural village of Liphook, Hampshire, England. The school was opened in 1978.

Rake Hanger is a 28.2-hectare (70-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north-west of Midhurst in West Sussex.Sessile oak is dominant on the steep slope of this site, while alder is the most common tree at the waterlogged foot of the scarp. There are lichens associated with ancient woodland, such as Thelotrema lepadinum and Haematomma elatinum. Great tussock sedge, bur-reed and great reedmace grow on the banks of two ponds.A public footpath goes through the site.

Liphook railway station serves the large village of Liphook, in Hampshire, England. It is on the Portsmouth Direct Line, 46 miles 67 chains (75.4 km) down the line from London Waterloo via Woking. The station is managed by South Western Railway, who operate all trains serving it.
