Łódź Chojny (Polish pronunciation: [xɔjnɨ]) is a railway station in Łódź, Poland, located in Górna district. Being an essential part of circular line, it serves the traffic between Łódź Kaliska and Łódź Widzew stations, and since 2011 it serves most of PKP Intercity trains passing through Łódź, mostly running between Warsaw and Wrocław.

The stadium has an all-seater capacity of about 18,000. The previous stadium has a capacity of 10,500 seats, with only part of the West Stand covered. It was demolished in early 2015 to make way for the new stadium.

The Łódź Niciarniana (Polish pronunciation: [nit͡siarniana]) is a name assigned to a commuter railway station in the city of Łódź, Poland, located in Widzew district, approximately 2.7 kilometres (1.7 mi) away from Łódź Fabryczna station. The station bears its name after the Niciarniana street, which runs closely to the station. The station was opened during inter-war period of the 1920s and 1930s as a station for local thread factory workers, it also served a branch line leading to the factory. The current name of the station was given in 1951. From 1951 to 2011 the station was used mainly for regional and commuter services, as well as special trains with football fans arriving for games played on the stadium of Widzew Łódź football club. On 16 October 2011, the station was closed, and demolished one year later. During the major reconstruction of the railway line between Fabryczna and Widzew stations, the station was rebuilt from scratch, this time in the form of a single island platform located on top of the railway viaduct. The street, which ran next to the station and had a secured crossing before the reconstruction, was routed under the new viaduct. The new station was opened on 11 December 2016.

Księży Młyn (English: Priest's Mill, Polish pronunciation: [ksiɛ̃ʐɨ mwɨn]) is an area in the southern central part of the city of Łódź located in central Poland which consists of a group of textile factories (mainly cotton spinning mills) and associated facilities, built in Łódź since 1824. Since the first decade of the 21st century the area undergoes major renovation and contains mixed-use development of offices and housing.

It includes the Central Teaching Hospital Institute of Dentistry which was created in 2012. The Maria Konopnicka Paediatric Centre has 19 departments (surgical and nonsurgical) with 260 inpatients and 6 outpatient beds. It was awarded 51,620,000 Polish złoty for the second stage of the construction of the Clinical and Didactic Center of the Medical University of Lodz together with the Academic Oncology Center in 2019. Monika Domarecka is the director of the hospital.

Łódź Stoki is a commuter station located in the city of Łódź, in Widzew district, on a circular line between Łódź Widzew and Zgierz stations. Initially opened in 1973, it was relocated and built from scratch in 2014 as part of Łódź Commuter Railway project, to provide accessibility to nearby medical center and academic estates.

Bednarska Street is a street located in the northern part of the former Górna district of Łódź, forming a boundary that separates three Urban Information System areas: Górniak from Chojny (on the section from Rzgowska Street to Unicka Street) and Górniak from Kurak (on the section from Unicka Street to Pabianicka Street). It connects Rzgowska Street with Pabianicka Street and serves as an extension of Wólczańska Street, which was established much earlier. The properties on the northern, odd-numbered side of the street are situated in Górniak, while the properties on the southern, even-numbered side are located in Chojny (between Rzgowska and Unicka streets) and in Kurak (between Unicka and Pabianicka streets). Bednarska Street begins at the intersection with Rzgowska Street, initially heading southwest. After the intersection with Julian Korsak Street, it turns northwest and ends at the intersection with Pabianicka Street. Its northern extension, beyond the intersection with Pabianicka Street, is Wólczańska Street. The name of the street, derived from the noun bednarz (meaning cooper, a craftsman who makes wooden vessels), has no geographical justification. The street holds the status of a county road (no. 1105E). It is two-way along its entire length. It passes through Legionów Park, which includes the former factory park of Ernst Leonhardt (on the northern, odd-numbered side of the street) and the former Social Insurance Institution park (on the southern, even-numbered side). The initial section of the street, up to the intersection with Unicka Street (properties numbered 3–9 and 2–20), belongs to the Roman Catholic Parish of Our Lady of the Angels, while the further section (properties numbered 24–42) belongs to the Roman Catholic Parish of St. Luke the Evangelist and St. Florian.

Łódź Widzew is a major railway station located in Widzew, an eastern district in the city of Łódź, Poland. It is located on a number of important railway lines including the Łódź Fabryczna to Koluszki and Warsaw railway line, the Widzew to Kutno railway line, and the Łódź Kaliska to Warsaw line. It consists of three island platforms and six tracks. The station is served by all passing passenger trains, including long distance and local services. Trains departing from the station serve major Polish cities, regional towns in the Łódź Province, and other stations in the Łódź metropolitan area. Operators include PKP Intercity, Polregio, and Łódzka Kolej Aglomeracyjna (ŁKA). The maintenance depot of Łódzka Kolej Aglomeracyjna is located at the station.

The Academy of Film, Art and Design (Polish: Wyższa Szkoła Sztuki i Projektowania) is a private arts university in Łódź, Poland. The current rector is prof. Piotr Cieciura. The Academy of Film, Art and Design in Lodz (AFAD) - a non-state higher education institution in Lodz. The Academy of Film, Art and Design in Lodz was established in April 1998 (by decision of the Minister of National Education, reg. number 139). In April 2004, the university moved its headquarters to the Karol Scheibler's 19th century Commercial Center. Konstantyna [kɔnstanˈtɨna] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Rzgów, within Łódź East County, Łódź Voivodeship, in central Poland. It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-east of Rzgów and 11 km (7 mi) south of the regional capital Łódź.

The Leon Schiller Polish National Film, Television and Theatre School in Łódź (Polish: Państwowa Wyższa Szkoła Filmowa, Telewizyjna i Teatralna im. Leona Schillera w Łodzi), commonly known as Łódź Film School (Polish: Szkoła Filmowa w Łodzi) is a Polish academy for future actors, directors, photographers, camera operators and television staff. It was founded on 8 March 1948 in Łódź (Lodz).
