Pilling's Pond is a privately owned urban waterfowl reserve and breeding ground in the North Seattle neighborhood of Licton Springs, Seattle, Washington. It was created by lifetime resident Charles A. Pilling and has been a bird breeding site and a roadside attraction since the 1920s.

Licton Springs or North College Park is a neighborhood in the informal Northgate district of North Seattle. It is bounded by Interstate 5 to the east, beyond which is Maple Leaf neighborhood and the Northgate Mall; Aurora Avenue N (SR 99) to the west, beyond which is Greenwood; N 85th Street to the south, beyond which is Green Lake, and N Northgate Way to the north, beyond which is Haller Lake.

Bishop Blanchet High School is a private coeducational Catholic high school located north of Green Lake in Seattle, United States. The school was founded in 1954 by the Archdiocese of Seattle, and named for the first bishop of the diocese, A.M.A. Blanchet (1797–1887). Originally named Blanchet High School, in 1999 the title Bishop was added to make the school easily identified as Catholic.Bishop Blanchet has an enrollment of approximately 850 students, 80% of whom are Catholic. The school employs 73 teachers, 69 of them full-time. Most students come from Archdiocesan elementary and middle schools.

Greenwood is a neighborhood in north central Seattle, Washington, United States. The intersection of Greenwood Avenue North and North 85th Street is the commercial center. Greenwood is known for its numerous bars, restaurants, coffee houses, theatres and specialty stores. Greenwood's main thoroughfares are Greenwood Avenue North and North 80th and 85th streets. Since 1993 the neighborhood has hosted the "Greenwood Classic Car Show" on the last Saturday in June. Another annual event is the "Greenwood Seafair Parade", held on the fourth Wednesday in July. Both events draw tens of thousands of visitors to the neighborhood.

The Greater Seattle Bureau of Fearless Ideas (formerly 826 Seattle) is a nonprofit organization located in Seattle, Washington dedicated to supporting students ages 6 to 18 with their creative and expository writing skills, and to helping teachers inspire their students to write. Services are structured around the belief that great leaps in learning can happen with one-on-one attention, and that strong writing skills are fundamental to future success. Bureau of Fearless Ideas headquarters is located in the Greenwood neighborhood of Seattle. The organization manages a retail store at the location called the "Greenwood Space Travel Supply Company", which sells space-themed novelties and toys; the store's revenues benefit the organization. The organization was previously a part of 826 National prior to 2014. In 2011 First Lady Michelle Obama presented the organization with one of 12 National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Awards, part of the President's Committee on the Arts and Humanities.As of 2015, the Bureau employs David Schmader formerly of Seattle's The Stranger alt-weekly.

Beth's Cafe is a 24-hour restaurant in Seattle, Washington, United States. Located on Aurora Avenue North in the Green Lake neighborhood, it is known largely for its "greasy spoon" cuisine and large portions. Beth's opened in 1954 and has remained at the same location since, under various owners. Beth's Cafe is popular among young Seattle residents during late-night hours. The walls are covered in artwork produced by patrons, along with quotes such as "I lost my virginity at Beth's" and "Pre-Game for Beth's" accompanied by a depiction of a young man smoking out of a bong. The restaurant and its "Southwestern Exposure" 12-egg omelette challenge were featured in a 2009 episode of Man v. Food. The cafe has also been noted in Seattle guidebooks by Lonely Planet and Moon Publications among others.

North Seattle College (NSC or North Seattle) is a public college in Seattle, Washington. It is one of the three colleges comprising the Seattle Colleges District and part of the Washington Community and Technical Colleges system.Founded in 1970, NSC is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, and offers associate degrees, bachelor's degrees, university transfer, and certificate programs as well as continuing education and college preparation programs. The Seattle Community Colleges District Board of Trustees voted unanimously in March 2014 to change the name of the District to Seattle Colleges and to change the name of the college to North Seattle College.

Taproot Theatre Company is a professional, nonprofit theatre company in Seattle, Washington, with a multi-faceted production program. Founded in 1976, Taproot Theatre has mainstage productions, at its location in the Greenwood neighborhood, touring productions through the Pacific Northwest, and theatrical training through its acting studio. Taproot Theatre Company is a member of Theatre Communications Group, Theatre Puget Sound, and the Greenwood-Phinney Chamber of Commerce.

Seattle Community Access Network (SCAN) is one of the Public, educational, and government access (PEG) cable television channels in Seattle, Washington. The station provides camera equipment, television studios and training that allow residents of King County to create and cablecast their own television shows for a small fee. The station is carried on Comcast and Broadstripe cable systems in King County and the greater Puget Sound region except for six cities covered by Puget Sound Access.

The Pacific Northwest Museum of Motorcycling, founded in 1994, is a virtual motorcycle museum headquartered in Seattle, Washington. In the mid-1990s it had a physical location at Rainier Square in Seattle. The museum preserves history of motorcycling in the Pacific Northwest, and has sponsored motorcycle exhibits such as the 2014 Marymount Museum show hosted by LeMay Family Collection Foundation. The museum holds over 6,000 photographs documenting motorcycling in the Pacific Northwest.The museum is a member of Association of King County Historical Organizations.

The Chicken Supply is a fried chicken restaurant in Seattle's Phinney Ridge neighborhood, in the U.S. state of Washington.

American Doughboy Bringing Home Victory, also known as Armistice and Spirit of the American Doughboy, is an outdoor 1932 bronze sculpture and war memorial by Alonzo Victor Lewis. The statue was first installed outside Seattle Center's Veterans Hall, and later relocated to Evergreen Washelli Memorial Park, in the U.S. state of Washington. It was originally commissioned in 1921 in plaster and was called American Doughboy Bringing Home the Bacon. In 1932, funds for a permanent memorial led to the dedication of a bronze cast with "certain changes in appearance from the original". The sculpture was surveyed and deemed "treatment urgent" by the Smithsonian Institution's "Save Outdoor Sculpture!" program in August 1994.In 1998, the statue was relocated to Evergreen Washelli Memorial Park.
