Piré-Chancé

Piré-sur-Seiche (French pronunciation: [piʁe syʁ sɛʃ]; Breton: Pereg) is a former commune in the Ille-et-Vilaine department of Brittany in northwestern France. On 1 January 2019, it was merged into the new commune Piré-Chancé.

The inhabitants of Amanlis are known as Amanlisiens. The known history of Amanlis dates back to pre-Roman times, when the Riedones or Redones tribe of Gauls inhabited the area. The primary products of Amanlis are agricultural. From the 16th to the mid-19th centuries, it was a center of production of sailcloth made from locally grown hemp. Sites of interest include the parish church Saint-Martin-de-Tours and the Sainte-Anne-des-Bois chapel, which is dedicated to the patron saint of Brittany.

Saint-Aubin-du-Pavail (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃.t‿obɛ̃ dy pavaj]; Breton: Sant-Albin-ar-Pavez) is a former commune in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in Brittany in northwestern France. On 1 January 2017, it was merged into the commune Châteaugiron.The name Saint-Aubin-du-Pavail comes from Saint Aubin, bishop of Angers in the 6th century. The term "Pavail" indicates the paving stone of the Gallo-Roman way which crossed the commune.

Janzé (Breton: Gentieg, Gallo: Janzae) is a commune in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in Brittany in northwestern France. It is also the seat of the Canton of Janzé. The inhabitants of Janzé are called Janzéens in French. Early historical evidence points to the settlement of the area by Gallic tribes before the Roman occupation. Two Christian parishes were established in the 11th and 13th centuries. After the French Revolution, Janzé became an important center of agriculture and commerce and is currently well known for its poultry industry. Among its sites of interest are two official French Historical Monuments (Monument Historique): the menhir called The Fairies' Rock (La Pierre des Fées) and the Church of Saint Martin (Eglise Saint-Martin).
