The Eden Project (Cornish: Edenva) is a visitor attraction in Cornwall, England. The project is located in a reclaimed china clay pit, located 2 km (1.2 mi) from the town of St Blazey and 5 km (3 mi) from the larger town of St Austell.The complex is dominated by two huge enclosures consisting of adjoining domes that house thousands of plant species, and each enclosure emulates a natural biome. The biomes consist of hundreds of hexagonal and pentagonal ethylene tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) inflated cells supported by geodesic tubular steel domes. The larger of the two biomes simulates a rainforest environment (and is the largest indoor rainforest in the world) and the second, a Mediterranean environment. The attraction also has an outside botanical garden which is home to many plants and wildlife native to Cornwall and the UK in general; it also has many plants that provide an important and interesting backstory, for example, those with a prehistoric heritage. There are plans to build an Eden Project North in the seaside town of Morecambe, Lancashire, with a focus on the marine environment.

The World Pasty Championships were an annual event held in Cornwall to celebrate the Cornish Pasty and its variants, with entrants from around the world including Australia and the Americas. Awards were given to amateurs, professionals, juniors and companies. Entries in the Cornish pasty category must be made in Cornwall with traditional ingredients and techniques, but far more freedom was allowed in the "open savoury" category. This ended in 2023 after the Eden Project and the Cornish Pasty Association had decided that the event 'Had run its course.

Bodelva (Cornish: Boselwydh) is a hamlet in south Cornwall, England, UK, in the civil parish of St Blaise. It is about 1 mile (1.6 km) west of St Blazey. Bodelva is the location of the Eden Project, opened in 2001, a horticultural visitor attraction built in a china clay quarry.

Carne Farm, Trethurgy is the birthplace of Silvanus Trevail, a president of the Society of Architects and the architect of many well known Cornish hotels such as the Headland Hotel, Newquay and the Carbis Bay Hotel, Carbis Bay.

Prideaux Castle is a multivallate Iron Age hillfort situated atop a 133 m (435 ft) high conical hill near the southern boundary of the parish of Luxulyan, Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is also sometimes referred to as Prideaux Warren, Prideaux War-Ring, or Prideaux Hillfort. The site is a scheduled monument and so protected from unauthorised works by the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Areas Act 1979.

St Jude's Church is a Church of England church in Plymouth, Devon, England. It was designed by the Plymouth architect James Hine and constructed in 1875–76, with the work being carried out by Messrs Blatchford and Son of Tavistock for £3,600. Construction had begun by the time the memorial stone was laid on 26 October 1875 and the Bishop of Exeter Frederick Temple consecrated the church on 27 November 1876. It was the one of a number of churches to be erected under the auspices of the Three Towns Church Extension Society. A tower and spire were added to the church in 1881–82, with the work being carried out by Mr. Philip Blowey of Plymouth, followed by a church room in 1887–88.St Jude's has been Grade II listed since 1975. It is described by Historic England as having an early and mid Gothic style. The church is briefly constructed using Plymouth limestone, with dressings in Portland and Bath stone. Upon completion it was able to seat approximately 650 people.

Wheal Eliza is a cricket ground in Holmbush, to the east of St Austell, Cornwall. The ground is bordered to the south by Holmbush Road, to the east by the A391 road and to the north and west by housing. The end names of the ground are the Jewson End and the Britannia End. Facilities include two playing fields with their own changing room facilities enabling two competitive matches to be played every match day. The ground also has a pavilion, scorebox, artificial and grass nets.

St Blazey Gate (Cornish: Yet Lanndreth) is a settlement in south Cornwall, England, United Kingdom in the civil parish of St Blaise. It is situated between the towns of St Blazey and Par on the A390 to St Austell. The settlement formed around a toll gate on the turnpike road to St Austell. The toll house is now a private residence.St Mary's Church is the parish church of Church of England parish of Par. It was built on land given by Edward Carlyon the owner of the nearby Tregrehan House and was consecrated on 1 November 1849. It was designed by George Edmund Street, his first commission, and built from the local reddish coloured Biscovey slate with quoins of Pentewan stone from the cliffs near Mevagissey.The Biscovey Stone is the shaft of an ancient Celtic cross. It was inscribed but the text is no longer readable. There are several theories about the stone, one says it dates from around 600 AD to show the Saxon advance into the county, another puts the date at around 900 AD. The head is thought to have been removed during the reformation. The stone served as a gate post near the St Blazey turnpike gate. In 1896 it was moved to St Mary's Church.

The Treffry Viaduct is a historic dual-purpose railway viaduct and aqueduct located close to the village of Luxulyan, Cornwall in the United Kingdom. The viaduct crosses the Luxulyan Valley, and with it forms an integral part of the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape, a World Heritage Site. It is scheduled under the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Areas Act 1979 and due to its poor condition is on Historic England's, Heritage at Risk Register.
