The Demorest Women's Club is a women's group founded in 1934 by 11 women. The historic building at 1035 Central Avenue in Demorest, Georgia, the group uses was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.The building was built in 1902 and served as the Demorest Methodist Episcopal Church, South from 1902 to 1939, then as the Demorest Methodist Church from 1939 to 1947. It was majorly renovated in 1954 to serve as the Demorest Women's Club. Its historical significance derives from 1954 on.

The listing included seven contributing buildings.The district was defined to include "the intact historic commercial buildings and a historic church that remain in the city of Demorest's downtown business district. Demorest is a small city in Habersham County in the northeastern part of the state. The downtown business district is located at the intersection of Georgia Street and Central Avenue (U.S. 441). The buildings in the historic district were constructed from 1890 to 1934 and consist of six commercial buildings and one church."The oldest (1890) building is the "Brick Block" or Starkweather Building, at the intersection of Georgia and Central, a two-story brick building with a stepped parapet and corbeled cornice. In 1989 it held Steffi's Store.The Congregational Church (1908) was designed and built by H. W. Willett.

Clarkesville is a city that is the county seat of Habersham County, Georgia, United States. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 1,911, up from the 2010 census population of 1,733, up from 1,248 at the 2000 census.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.It was built as a Works Progress Administration project.It has also been known as the Agriculture Building. It is or was located just west of the town square.It may no longer exist, because Google Streeview survey of Washington St. using November 2018 imagery does not seem to turn it up.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.It is a one-story brick Craftsman-style bungalow.It is also known as the Peter Rosetty House.The house may no longer exist, because it seems difficult to identify any candidate matching the 1980 photo using Google Streetview imagery of 2018, along Washington Street.

Mauldin House is a historic home in Clarkesville, Georgia. The home's first owner and namesake was A.M. Mauldin and his wife. Mauldin was a hatmaker with a shop in downtown Clarkesville. It was moved to make way for a road widening project and now serves as a Welcome Center. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 18, 1982. The house was originally located at 102 East Water Street, but is now located at 458 Jefferson Street. At one time, the property included multiple barns, pasture, and a vegetable garden in addition to the current house, Big Holly Cabin and the millinery shop. The Mauldin house has previously been known as the Little Pink Cottage.Built of hand hewn pine for Haywood English in 1820, the cabin is part of a historical park beside Clarkesville's town square.

Washington–Jefferson Street Historic District in Clarkesville, Georgia is a 23 acres (9.3 ha) mostly residential historic district. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 and includes 13 contributing buildings and a contributing site.The district has about 12 houses, two antebellum Greek Revival churches (both built by master builder Jarvis Van Buren, one already listed on the National Register as Grace Church), and the city's small cemetery. It is located along South Washington, South Jefferson, and Wilson Streets between Green Street and Laurel Drive.

It has mortise and tenon framing.While it was separately listed on the National Register in 1980, it is also included as a contributing building in the National Register-listed Washington-Jefferson Street Historic District.
