Živkovac

Beli Potok (Serbian Cyrillic: Бели Поток) is a small town and a suburban settlement of Belgrade, Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Voždovac.

Jajinci (Serbian Cyrillic: Јајинци, pronounced [jâjiːntsi]) is an urban neighborhood located in the municipality of Voždovac, in Belgrade, Serbia. It was the site of the worst carnage in Serbia during World War II when German occupational forces executed nearly 80,000 people, many of them prisoners of the nearby Banjica concentration camp. Jewish women and children from German Sajmište concentration camp, killed in a special gas truck on their way to Belgrade were also buried here.

The Avala Tower (Serbian Cyrillic: Авалски торањ, romanized: Avalski toranj) is a 204.68 m (672 ft) tall telecommunications tower located on Mount Avala, in Belgrade, Serbia. The original tower was finished in 1965, but was destroyed on 29 April 1999, during the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia. The tower's reconstruction commenced on 21 December 2006 and it was officially opened on 21 April 2010.

Pinosava (Serbian Cyrillic: Пиносава) is a small town and a suburb of Belgrade, Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Voždovac, on the western slope of the Avala mountain, in the valley of the Topčiderka river, over 15 kilometers south of downtown Belgrade. It is located in the Low Šumadija, and the neighboring plateau is named after the town (Pinosava plateau).

Kumodraž (Serbian Cyrillic: Кумодраж, pronounced [kûmɔdraːʒ]) is an urban neighborhood of Belgrade, Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Voždovac.

Anište (Serbian: Аниште) is a fortress in Serbia. It is located east from confluence of Ljig into Kolubara. Today, only small underground remains are left.

Monument to the Soviet War Veterans is a monument located on the Avala mountain near Belgrade, Serbia. It is dedicated to members of the Soviet military delegation who were killed in an airplane crash on the Avala on October 19, 1964. The delegation was flying to Belgrade to attend the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Liberation of Belgrade on October 20, 1944, since Red Army forces had taken part in the liberation. In the plane crash, Marshal Sergey Semyonovich Biryuzov and general Vladimir Ivanovich Zhdanov were notably killed, among others. Monument was sculptured by Jovan Kratohvil.

Avala (Serbian Cyrillic: Авала, pronounced [âv̞ala]) is a mountain in Serbia, overlooking Belgrade. It is situated in the south-eastern corner of the city and provides a great panoramic view of Belgrade, Vojvodina and Šumadija, as the surrounding area on all sides is mostly lowlands. It stands at 511 metres (1,677 ft) above sea level, which means that it enters the locally defined mountain category just by 11 m (36 ft).

Žrnov (Serbian Cyrillic: Жрнов) or Žrnovan (Жрнован) was a medieval fortress on the highest top of the Avala Mountain, at 511 metres (1,677 ft), in Belgrade, Serbia. The Ancient Romans had built an outpost there, and later the Serbs expanded it into a fortress. It was completely demolished in 1934 to make the way for the Monument to the Unknown Hero.

The Monument to the Unknown Hero (Serbian: Споменик Незнаном јунаку, romanized: Spomenik Neznanom junaku) is a World War I memorial located atop Mount Avala, south-east of Belgrade, Serbia, and designed by the sculptor Ivan Meštrović. The memorial was built in 1934–1938 on the place where an unknown Serbian World War I soldier was buried. It is similar to many other tombs of the unknown soldier built by the allies after the war. The Žrnov fortress was previously located on the same place.

The birthplace of field marshal Stepa Stepanović in Kumodraž, where the renowned military commandment, a general and field marshal who participated in all wars from 1876 till 1918 in which Serbia took part, was born in 1856.

Jelezovac (Serbian Cyrillic: Јелезовац) is an urban neighborhood of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It is located in the municipality of Rakovica. Though official city documents refer to the area as part of the Sunčani Breg-Jelezovac settlement, the neighborhood which developed in the western part of the Jelezovac area is known as Miljakovac III. Jelezovac remains as the name for the brook and its, still partially non-urbanized valley.
