Erawan Museum (Thai: พิพิธภัณฑ์ช้างเอราวัณ) is a museum in Samut Prakan Province, Thailand. It is well known for its giant three-headed elephant art display. The three storeys inside the elephant contain antiquities and priceless collections of ancient religious objects belonging to Lek Viriyapant who was the museum owner and also creator of the Ancient Siam and Sanctuary of Truth museums which stores artifacts and heritage items. The museum displays important model sculptures which shows many facets of Thai culture.

Assumption College Samutprakarn (Thai: โรงเรียนอัสสัมชัญสมุทรปราการ) (formerly Assumption College Samrong Thai: โรงเรียนอัสสัมชัญสำโรง) is a private Catholic school in Samut Prakan Province, Thailand. The school was founded and run by the Brothers of St. Gabriel since 1979 as the thirteenth educational institution of the congregation. The school provides education to students from grade 1 through 12.

Chang Erawan station (Thai: สถานีช้างเอราวัณ, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː t͡ɕʰáːŋ ʔēː.rāː.wān]) is a BTS Skytrain station, on the Sukhumvit Line in Samut Prakan Province, Thailand. It opened on 6 December 2018 as part of the 13 km eastern extension. Rides on the extension were free until April 16, 2019. The station is near with Erawan Museum on Sukhumvit Road.

Thipphawan station (Thai: สถานีทิพวัล, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː tʰíp.pʰā.wān]) is a Bangkok MRT station on the Yellow Line. The station is located on Thepharak road in Samut Prakan Province and is named after the Thipphawan Housing Community located adjacent to the station. The station has four entrances. It opened on 3 June 2023 as part of trial operations on the line between Samrong and Hua Mak.

A radiation accident occurred in Samut Prakan Province, Thailand in January–February 2000. The accident happened when an insecurely stored unlicensed cobalt-60 radiation source was recovered by scrap metal collectors who, together with a scrapyard worker, subsequently dismantled the container, unknowingly exposing themselves and others nearby to ionizing radiation. Over the following weeks, those exposed developed symptoms of radiation sickness and eventually sought medical attention. The Office of Atomic Energy for Peace (OAEP), Thailand's nuclear regulatory agency, was notified when doctors came to suspect radiation injury, some 17 days after the initial exposure. The OAEP sent an emergency response team to locate and contain the radiation source, which was estimated to have an activity of 15.7 terabecquerels (420 Ci), and was eventually traced to its owner. Investigations found failure to ensure secure storage of the radiation source to be the root cause of the accident, which resulted in ten people being hospitalized for radiation injury, three of whom died, as well as the potentially significant exposure of 1,872 people.

Thai Sikh International School (TSIS; Thai: โรงเรียนไทยซิกข์นานาชาติ, RTGS: Rong Rian Thai Sik Nana Chat) is an international school that has been operating since 1985. The school has two very well equipped campuses. The Senior School, which educates students in Years 7 - Years 13, is located near Bearing BTS Station in Samut Prakan, in the Bangkok Metropolitan Area. The Junior School, which educates children from Nursery to Year 6 is located in Wongwianyai district of Bangkok. The school offers the UK National Curriculum for students at all levels. The school is partially funded by the Thai Sikh Foundation in Pahurat, Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok. The Thai Sikh Foundation handed management of the school to International Schools Services (ISS) in 2017. ISS is associated with over 400 schools around the world and after major campus renovations, has worked to renew the school in cooperation with the Thai Sikh Foundation. While tuition fees have increased since management by ISS commenced, the fees are competitive in comparison to many of Bangkok's international schools.Both school campuses have exceptional, age appropriate facilities such as swimming pools, basketball and tennis courts as well as a 400-metre running track around a football field. While historically the majority of TSIS' students were of Indian descent, the student population is becoming more diverse as student of all nations are welcomed. Currently, about 20% of the students are Sikh. The Senior campus is located on the eastern edge of Bangkok in the Mueang Samut Prakan District. The school site is over 30 rai in size. The campus includes an administrative block, a gymnasium and auditorium, air-conditioned assembly hall, art centre, computer laboratories, language centre, music centre, science laboratories and swimming pool.

St. Andrews International School Sukhumvit 107 (Thai: โรงเรียนนานาชาติเซนต์แอนดรูว์ส สุขุมวิท 107, RTGS: Rong Rian Nana Chat Sen Aendru Sukhumwit Nueng Roi Chet) is an international school for children aged 2 to 18 years old in Bangna, Bangkok, Thailand. Sukhumvit 107 is one of four schools in Thailand under the schools group Cognita, along with St. Andrews International School, Rayong, St. Andrews International School, Dusit, and St. Andrews International School, Sathorn.

Bearing station (Thai: สถานีแบริ่ง, RTGS: Sathani Baering, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː bɛ̄ː.rîŋ]) is a BTS skytrain station, on the Sukhumvit Line in Bang Na District, Bangkok, Thailand. The station is located on Sukhumvit Road at Soi Bearing (Soi Sukhumvit 107), the last point of the BTS system in Bangkok Metropolitan Administration area, before passing the border pole to Samrong Nuea Town in Samut Prakan Province. It is part of the 5.2 km Skytrain extension from On Nut station which opened on 12 August 2011. Between 2011 and 2017 it was the eastern terminus of the line, until the opening of Samrong station.St. Andrews Sukhumvit 107 can be accessed from this BTS station.

Khlong Samrong (Thai: คลองสำโรง, pronounced [kʰlɔ̄ːŋ sǎm.rōːŋ]) is a khlong (canal) in central Thailand, regarded as the main watercourse of Samut Prakan Province.

Si Thepha station (Thai: สถานีศรีเทพา, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː sǐː tʰēː.pʰāː]) is a Bangkok MRT station on the Yellow Line. The station is located on Thepharak road in Samut Prakan Province and is a portmanteau of the name of Srinagarindra and Thepharak roads, which intersect adjacent to the station. The station has four entrances. It opened on 3 June 2023 as part of trial operations on the line between Samrong and Hua Mak.

Bang Na station (Thai: สถานีบางนา, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː bāːŋ nāː]) is a BTS Skytrain station, on the Sukhumvit Line in Bang Na District, Bangkok, Thailand. Opened in 2011, it is a part of the Skytrain extension from On Nut to Bearing station. It has a skywalk to the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC).
