Grebenstein

Holzkape is a river of Hesse, Germany. It flows into the Esse near Grebenstein.

The Battle of Wilhelmsthal (sometimes written as the Battle of Wilhelmstadt) was fought on 24 June 1762 during the Seven Years' War between the allied forces of Britain, Prussia, Hanover, Brunswick and Hesse under the command of the Duke of Brunswick against France. Once again, the French threatened Hanover, so the Allies manoeuvered around the French, surrounded the invasion force, and forced them to retreat. It was the last major action fought by Brunswick's force before the Peace of Paris brought an end to the war.

Calden is a municipality in the district of Kassel in Hesse, Germany. It is located 12 km northwest of the city of Kassel, and the Kassel Airport is situated near Calden.

Kassel Airport (formerly Kassel-Calden Airport, German Flughafen Kassel) (IATA: KSF, ICAO: EDVK) is a minor international airport serving the German city of Kassel in the state of Hesse. It is located 1.9 km (1.2 mi) west of Calden, 16.7 km (10.4 mi) northwest of Kassel and is mainly used for business and general aviation. There is also a flight school, an ultralight flying school, and a parachuting school based on site.

Kassel-Calden Circuit was a 2.590 km (1.609 mi) former airfield circuit located on the Kassel Airport in Kassel, Hesse, Germany. The circuit was opened in August 1971 for the venue of ADAC Hessenpreis due to the expensive costs of hiring Hockenheimring for this event. Besides national championships, the circuit also hosted races for some international championships, such as FIA European Formula 3 Championship and Interserie.

Espenau is a municipality in the district of Kassel, in Hesse, Germany. It is composed of two districts the Espenau-Hohenkirchen, and the Espenau-Mönchehof both are situated 9 kilometers north of Kassel. As of December 2019, Espenau has 5,158 inhabitants. It covers a total area of 13.59 km².

Mönchehof is part of the municipality of Espenau in Hessen in Germany. Mönchehof belongs to the Kassel district, not far from Vellmar and the city of Kassel. It was the site of a post World War II American sector displaced person camp. Espenau-Mönchehof is a station on the Kassel–Warburg railway, and is connected to Kassel Hauptbahnhof via the Kassel RegioTram 1.

Schöneberg is a village and a municipal division (Stadtteil) of the town of Hofgeismar in the district of Kassel in northern Hesse, Germany. West of the village, there are the ruins of a castle dating from the 12th century that bears the same name.

Weimar is the oldest part of the municipality of Ahnatal. It is a village situated close to the Dörnberg some 15 km northwest of Kassel and has about 3500 inhabitants. Being close to the city of Kassel, most people who live in Weimar are commuters who work in the city of Kassel. There are no large-scale firms in Weimar and in Ahnatal in general. Its main sight is the Bühl, a former pit which was left open after a source leaked into it. It is now being used as a swimming pool, and in the nearby area, there are sports and recreational facilities. The education system consists of a primary school (Helfensteinschule) which pupils can attend until they reach the sixth grade after which they have to go to a secondary school. The "Helfensteinschule" is attended also by pupils from Kammerberg.
