Fürstenstein is a mountain of the Fichtel Mountains in Bavaria, Germany.

The Ölschnitz is a right-bank, northern headstream of the White Main in the German province of Upper Franconia in Bavaria. It is 22.1 kilometres (13.7 mi) long.

Bad Berneck im Fichtelgebirge (German: [baːt ˈbɛʁnɛk] ) is a spa town in the district of Bayreuth, in Bavaria, Germany. It is situated on the White Main river, in the Fichtel Mountains, 13 km northeast of Bayreuth. It lies in the northern part of the Bavarian province of Upper Franconia. Since 1857 it has been a spa, initially based on its climate and whey products. In 1930 it became a Kneipp spa and, in 1950, a Kneipp health spa.

The Altes Schloss ("Old Castle") near Bad Berneck in south Germany is a ruined castle built in the Gothic style as an Amtsburg towards the end of the High Middle Ages. The castle lies on the Schlossberg ("castle hill") of Bad Berneck in the Upper Franconian district of Bayreuth in Bavaria. Today the lofty keep is the emblem of this small spa town. The ruins are open to the public at any time.

The Königsheide is a high, forested ridge, made of gneiss-phyllite rock in the Fichtel Mountains in Bavaria, Germany. It is located to the southwest of the Ochsenkopf mountain. It is bordered to the east and south by the river of the Warme Steinach, and to the west by the Franconian Line. The villages of Warmensteinach and Weidenberg and the town of Goldkronach lie on the Königsheide. In a narrower sense the Königsheide refers to the partly boggy high plateau around its highest peak, the Hohberg (863 m above sea level (NN)). The origin of the name of this forested ridge has not been fully established. In 1317 the region was called Wulwingesheide and then, in 1542, the Königsheide ("King's Heath").

Weidenberg is a municipality in the district of Bayreuth in Bavaria in Germany. The Ölschnitz river discharges near Weidenberg-Neunkirchen into the Red Main. Nearby is the site of a medieval castle, known as Burgstall Schlosshügel.

Kronach is a river of Bavaria, Germany. It is a left tributary of the White Main near Himmelkron.
