Laranjeiro

Laranjeiro e Feijó is a civil parish in the municipality of Almada, Portugal. It was formed in 2013 by the merger of the former parishes Laranjeiro and Feijó. The population in 2011 was 39,872, in an area of 7.82 km2.

The Naval School (Portuguese: Escola Naval) is a higher education level naval academy in Alfeite, Portugal. The Naval School is located in the Lisbon Naval Base premises, located on the south bank of the Tagus river, in front of the city of Lisbon. The school offers university and polytechnical graduate programmes intended to train the future officers of the Portuguese Navy. It also offers postgraduate programmes, these being open to civilians, as well to naval and other military personnel.

Corroios is a civil parish in the municipality of Seixal in the district of Setúbal, Portugal. It is part of the Lisbon metropolitan area. The population in 2011 was 47,661, in an area of 17.11 km². Corroios remains as the second most populous town in Portugal, after Algueirão-Mem Martins (note: this ranking includes only vilas [towns] and excludes cidades [cities]). The town is located on the south side of the Tagus River, opposite Lisbon, the capital of Portugal. Corroios has many immigrants, mainly from Africa but also from Eastern Europe and Asia and one third of the population is below the age of 25 years.

The Academia de Marinha (Portuguese for "Navy Academy" or "Marine Academy"), MembIH is the cultural agency of the Portuguese Navy under the Chief of Naval Staff. Its purpose is to promote and to publish artistic, literary, historical, and scientific studies relating to the sea and maritime activities. Its offices are located in Lisbon at the Naval Headquarters, Rua do Arsenal.

The Lisbon Naval Base (Portuguese: Base Naval de Lisboa), is the main installation and operational base of the Portuguese Navy. The Tidal Mill of Corroios (Portuguese: Moinho de Maré de Corroios/Núcleo do Moinho de Maré de Corroios do EMS) is a 15th-century pluvial mill situated in the civil parish of Corroios, municipality of Seixal.

Feijó is a former civil parish in the municipality of Almada, Lisbon metropolitan area, Portugal. In 2013, the parish merged into the new parish Laranjeiro e Feijó. The population in 2011 was 18,884, in an area of 3.94 km2.

Cova da Piedade is a former civil parish in the municipality of Almada, Lisbon metropolitan area, Portugal. In 2013, the parish merged into the new parish Almada, Cova da Piedade, Pragal e Cacilhas. The population in 2011 was 19,904, in an area of 1.42 km2. The parish was founded on February 7, 1928.

Almada, Cova da Piedade, Pragal e Cacilhas is a civil parish in the municipality of Almada, in the Portuguese district of Setúbal. It was formed in 2013 from the merger of the former parishes of Almada, Cova da Piedade, Pragal and Cacilhas, and covers an area of 6.15 square kilometres (66,200,000 sq ft). In 2011 there were 49,661 inhabitants in the reconstituted parish.

Almada (Portuguese pronunciation: [alˈmadɐ] (listen)) is a city and a municipality in Portugal, located on the southern margin of the Tagus River, on the opposite side of the river from Lisbon. The two cities are connected by the 25 de Abril Bridge. The population in 2011 was 174,030, in an area of 70.21 km2. The urbanized center had a population of 101,500 in 2001.

It opened in 2002 and has a total leasable space of 78,815 m2It hosts 262 shops, including a big supermarket (Auchan) and 35 restaurants. Almada Forum stretches over three floors. In 2018, Spanish Merlin Properties bought Almada Forum for 406.7 million Euros.

Campo de Jogos do Pragal is the home soccer stadium of Almada Atlético Clube, a Portuguese sports club based in Almada, Portugal. The stadium is overlooked by and adjacent to the surrounding area of the Cristo Rei monument.
