Clayton Family Farm, also known as John and Matthew Clayton Farm, is a historic farm complex and national historic district located at Stanleyville, Forsyth County, North Carolina. The district encompasses eight contributing buildings and four contributing sites dated between about 1800 and 1931. They include two historic roadbeds, an historic pond site, the weatherboarded log John Clayton House (c. 1800), the brick Greek Revival style Matthew C. Clayton House (1879), the former Clayton Store, five log and frame outbuildings, and the family cemetery.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

The township had a population of 9,200 according to the 2010 census.Geographically, Bethania Township occupies 23.20 square miles (60.1 km2) in northern Forsyth County. The town of Rural Hall is located here as well as part of the town of Bethania.

Rural Hall Depot is a historic train station located at Rural Hall, Forsyth County, North Carolina. It was built in 1888 for the Cape Fear and Yadkin Valley Railway. It is a one-story rectangular frame building sheathed in German siding. It measures 23 feet wide and 78 feet long. The interior consists of waiting rooms for white and "colored" passengers and a station master's office. Passenger service ceased in 1955, but the depot continued to provide services and facilities to freight trains until its closing in 1980. The building was moved to its present site in March 1980, and serves as a local railroad museum.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Oak Grove School is a historic one-room school for African-American students located at Winston-Salem and owned by the YWCA of Winston Salem, Forsyth County, North Carolina. It was built about 1910, and is a one-story, gable-front, in weatherboard clad building with a full-width, shed roof porch. The school closed about 1950, and was used as a store. It was restored in 1998.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

Bethabara Historic District encompasses the surviving buildings and archaeological remains of a small Moravian community, that was first settled in 1753. Located in present-day Forsyth County, North Carolina, it is now a public park of the city of Winston-Salem. It was designated National Historic Landmark in 1999.

Founded as the first Moravian settlement in Wachovia on November 17, 1753, Bethabara served until 1766 as the center of Moravian work in the South. The old historic church was built in 1788. Designed by Moravian administrator Friedrich Wilhelm von Marschall, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Bethabara Moravian Church facility was built in 1788 in what is now Winston-Salem, North Carolina. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971. The Bethabara Historic District, including the Church, were declared a National Historic Landmark in 1999.The church is located at 2147 Bethabara Road. The congregation is still active, and meets down the road in an updated building at 2100 Bethabara Road, at the intersection with Indiana Avenue.

Dr. Beverly Jones House is a historic plantation house located near Bethania, Forsyth County, North Carolina. It was designed by noted Virginia architect Dabney Cosby (1779-1862) and built in 1846–1847. It is a two-story, three bay by two bay, Neoclassical style brick dwelling with a two-story rear wing. Also on the property are the contributing kitchen, smokehouse, and three slave houses.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

The Bethania Historic District encompasses the historic planned center of the town of Bethania, North Carolina. A National Historic Landmark District, it is a rare example of a Moravian linear agricultural village in the United States, planned and founded in 1759. Land use and road patterns of the original plan are still discernible in the community. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 2001, and is at 500 acres (2.0 km2) the largest historic district in Forsyth County.

Bethania is the oldest municipality in Forsyth County, North Carolina, United States, and was most recently incorporated in 1995, upon the reactivation of the original 1838/1839 town charter. In 2009, Bethania celebrated the 250th anniversary of its establishment in 1759. As of the 2020 census, the town population was 341.

Carolina Christian College (CCC) is a special purpose, undergraduate institution. CCC educates persons for Christian ministries through a program of Biblical and theological studies, general education in the arts and sciences, and professional studies.
