State Tower is a skyscraper located on Silom Road, Bang Rak business district, Bangkok, Thailand, adjacent to Charoen Krung Road. Built in 2001, it has a floor area of 300,000 m2 (3,200,000 sq ft). State Tower has 68 floors and is 247 m (810 ft) tall, making it the 8th tallest building in Thailand. It is also the tallest mixed-use building in Thailand. Conceived by Thai architect Professor Rangsan Torsuwan in the early 1990s and designed by Rangsan Architecture, the massive building is characterised by its thirty-meter tall golden rooftop dome and neo-classical balconies. It was originally named "Silom Precious Tower", later "Royal Charoen Krung Tower" (RCK Tower) and then "State Tower". State Tower contains condominiums, serviced apartments, offices and retail units. It is also home to two five-star hotels, lebua at State Tower and Tower Club at lebua. Sirocco, an open-air restaurant with a panoramic view of Bangkok, is located on the 63rd floor. There are two Michelin starred restaurants on the top floors of the tower, owned and managed by lebua Hotels and Resorts.State Tower is owned by Challenge Group. In 2015, Nusasiri PLC bought non-performing condominium units from Bangkok Commercial Asset Management Co and renovated for resell. The total units bought was 166 spanning floors 28-32 and 42-50.

Lebua at State Tower is an all-suite luxury hotel occupying from the 21st to 25th floors of State Tower adjacent to the Chao Phraya River on Silom Road in the Bang Rak District of Bangkok, Thailand. The hotel is managed by "Lebua Hotels & Resorts", which also manages Tower Club at Lebua, located in the same building on the floors just above.The brand is founded by its current Chief-Executive, Deepak Ohri.The hotel's restaurants were featured in the 2011 film "The Hangover Part II".Lebua State Tower's rooftop restaurant, Sirocco, hosts the highest New Year's Eve ball drop in the world – from the height of 266m (872 feet).

Assumption College (Thai: โรงเรียนอัสสัมชัญ) is a private Catholic boys school in Bangkok, Thailand. The school, founded by Rev. Fr. Emile-August Colombet on 16 February 1885, is the first school founded by the Gabrielite Brothers in Thailand. Assumption College is the third-oldest boys school in Thailand.The school provides education for students from years 2 through 13. Matriculation, especially in the first grade, is highly competitive. The Assumption Cathedral (Thai: อาสนวิหารอัสสัมชัญ) is the principal Roman Catholic church of Thailand, located at 23 Oriental Avenue, New Road, in the Bang Rak District of Bangkok. It is the main church of the Archdiocese of Bangkok. The cathedral hosted both of the Papal visits to Thailand; Pope John Paul II in 1984 and Pope Francis in 2019.

The Jewelry Trade Center is a 59-story mixed-use skyscraper located in the Silom Road gemstone district of Bangkok, Thailand. Designed by Hellmuth, Obata and Kassabaum, the building was completed in 1996. At 220.7 metres (724 ft) it is currently the eighth-tallest building in Thailand. It was the tallest building in Thailand when it was completed. The center is the largest center for selling, sourcing and distributing jewelry in Bangkok and one of the largest such centers in Asia. It contains a fully equipped gem-testing laboratory operated by the Asian Institute of Gemological Sciences (AIGS) as well as a gemological school, also operated by AIGS. The Bangkok Fashion Mall located in the building's lower plaza is a large retail space for outlet stores featuring clothing, shoes and accessories. Suppliers of loose gemstones, rough stones and jewelry from around the world are also in the retail areas of the building. The building contains banks, a food court, coffee shops, a convenience store, a health club, a post office, a customs office, and residential condominiums.The center is built on a plot of land of 9.5 rai, or approximately 4.5 acres (18,000 m2). Partners in the project included Henry Ho (of Bijoux Holdings), Samrit Chirathivat (late CEO of the Central Group, later replaced by Vanchai Chirathivat), Vichai Maleenont (of Bangkok Entertainment, operator of TV Channel 3), and Chatri Sophonpanich (CEO of Bangkok Bank).

O.P. Place is a shopping centre housed in a historic building in the Bang Rak neighbourhood of the Thai capital Bangkok. The building was built in 1908 as the premises of Falck & Beidek, and was known to locals as Hang Sing Toh (Thai: ห้างสิงห์โต 'lion store'). It later became the Oriental Plaza, before its acquisition by the current owners. Today, its merchandise is focused on upscale antiques and collectibles, and the neoclassical building is recognized for its heritage architecture, having received the ASA Architectural Conservation Award in 1982.

Assumption Convent School (ASC) is a private girls' school in Thailand. It was founded in 1904 by the Roman Catholic Mission of Siam and has since been managed by the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres. The school is located in the vicinity of the Assumption Cathedral in Bangkok's Bang Rak District.

The Gallery Soulflower is an art gallery in Thailand created and managed by Soulflower and founded by Amit Sarda and Natasha Tuli. Since 2007 they have been promoting Indian art and it serves as a platform for Indian contemporary artists to present their individual art. The gallery is housed within the Silom Galleria and organizes 4-6 exhibitions annually, by established and emerging Indian artists from all over the country, as well as foreign artists. Works on display range from painting, sculpture, photography, installations, to new media and conceptual-based art. Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok is a five-star hotel in Bangkok owned in part and managed by Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. Located on the Chao Phraya River, the original structure was the first hotel built in Thailand when it opened as The Oriental in 1876. Today, the hotel is one of two flagship properties of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.

The East Asiatic Building is a historic building in Bangkok's Bang Rak District. It sits on the eastern bank of the Chao Phraya River, opposite the Oriental Hotel on Soi Charoen Krung 40 and adjacent to the Catholic Mission and Assumption Cathedral. The building was built c. 1900 in Renaissance Revival style to designs by Annibale Rigotti, and served as the headquarters of the East Asiatic Company (Thailand) until 1995. The building is well-conserved, and received the ASA Architectural Conservation Award in 1984. Nowadays, it is used as a commercial event space, administrated by Charoenkrung Studio, and is often rented as a filming location. The building is generally closed to the public, but was opened to visitors in November 2018 when it was one of the venues for the Bangkok Art Biennale.

Surawong Road (Thai: ถนนสุรวงศ์, pronounced [sù.ra.wōŋ]) is a road in the Bang Rak District of Bangkok, Thailand, linking Charoen Krung Road to Rama IV and forming the boundary between Suriyawong and Si Lom subdistricts. It was built at the end of the 19th century during Bangkok's period of expansion following the country's opening up to the West, and was home to many leading businesses, upper-class families, and members of the expatriate community. It was known as a Western-style nightlife entertainment district during the 1920s, and was—and still is—home to many leading hotels. The road grew as a business district along with the nearby Si Lom Road during the mid-20th century, but lagged behind in development toward the end of the century due to its limited traffic capacity. Today, it is still home to several historic landmarks, as well as many well-known restaurants.
