St Patrick's College (also known as St Patrick's International College) is a for-profit private higher education college based in the United Kingdom with its main campus located at Tower Hill in London. The college offers Higher National Diploma programmes in business and health care. Although its roots trace back to a Catholic primary school founded in Soho in 1803, the college was established in its present form in 1999. Since 2013 it has been a wholly owned subsidiary of the corporate group Global University Systems.

Stratford is a town in east London, England, within the ceremonial county of Greater London. Until 1965 it was within the historic county of Essex. Part of the Lower Lea Valley, Stratford is situated 6 miles (9.7 km) east-northeast of Charing Cross, and includes the localities of Maryland and East Village. Part of the London Borough of Newham, a local government district of Greater London, it was previously part of the parish of West Ham, which historically formed an ancient parish in the hundred of Becontree. Following reform of local government in London in 1965, the parish and borough of West Ham was abolished, becoming part of the borough of Newham in the newly formed Greater London administrative area and ceremonial county. Stratford grew rapidly in the 19th century following the introduction of the railway to the area in 1839, forming part of the conurbation of London, similar to much of south-west Essex. The late 20th century was a period of severe economic decline in the area, eventually reversed by ongoing regeneration associated with the 2012 Summer Olympics, for which Stratford's Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, part of the large, multi-purpose Stratford City development, was the principal venue. The Westfield Stratford City shopping centre, one of the largest urban shopping centres in Europe, opened in 2011. Stratford is east London's primary retail, cultural and leisure centre, and has also become the second most significant business location in east London after Canary Wharf.

Stratford is a major multi-level railway station which rates as the 5th busiest station in Britain, serving the district of Stratford and the mixed-use development known as Stratford City, in the London Borough of Newham, east London. It is served by the London Underground, London Overground, Docklands Light Railway (DLR) and is also a National Rail station on the West Anglia Main Line and the Great Eastern Main Line, 4 miles 3 chains (6.5 km) from Liverpool Street. It is also the busiest station on the Tube network outside Travelcard Zone 1. On the Underground it is a through-station on the Central line between Mile End and Leyton, and it is the eastern terminus of the Jubilee line following West Ham. On the DLR it is a terminus for some trains and for others it is a through-station between Stratford High Street and Stratford International. On the Overground it is the terminus of the North London Line following Hackney Wick; on the main line it is served by Elizabeth line stopping services between Paddington and Shenfield and by medium- and longer-distance services operated by Greater Anglia to and from numerous destinations in the East of England. There are also limited off-peak services operated by c2c connecting to the London, Tilbury and Southend line to Shoeburyness. The station was opened in 1839 by the Eastern Counties Railway. Today it is owned by Network Rail and is in Travelcard zone 2/3. To distinguish it from Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire it is sometimes referred to as Stratford (London), or as Stratford Regional to differentiate it from Stratford International, which is some 400 yards (370 m) to the north. Stratford served as a key travel hub for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games held in London. By the most recent National Rail entry and exit figures, it is the 5th busiest station in Britain (previously the busiest).

Stratford bus station is a bus station and taxi rank in Stratford in London, England. The station is owned and maintained by Transport for London. An entrance to Stratford station is located adjacent to the bus station, while Westfield Stratford City and Stratford City bus station are located across the link bridge on the other side of the railway. Designed in-house by London Transport architect Soji Abass, the bus station opened on 16 November 1994, and comprises five bus stands. It replaced an older bus station on the site, which was situated on the ground floor of a multi-storey car park prior to demolition. As of 2011, over 20 million passengers use the bus station every year.London Buses routes 25, 69, 86, 104, 158, 238, 241, 257, 262, 276, 308, 425, 473, D8 and night routes N8, N25 and N86 serve the station.

The Theatre Royal Stratford East is a 460 seat Victorian producing theatre in Stratford in the London Borough of Newham. Since 1953, it has been the home of the Theatre Workshop company, famously associated with director Joan Littlewood, whose statue is outside the theatre (see image at left).

Stratford Centre is a shopping mall and indoor market in Stratford town centre in east London. It is situated opposite the busy Stratford Regional station and this contributes to the high footfall through the centre, currently at around 26 million visitors every year, as many people use it as a cut-through between the stations and Stratford Broadway. The centre currently has 62 retail units, internally and externally, plus, off the East Mall is the Market Village, which contains many small independent traders, and in the West Mall is a market that trades Monday to Saturday.

Stratford Circus is a contemporary performing arts venue in Stratford in the London Borough of Newham, east London. It was designed by Levitt Bernstein architects and built with funding from the National Lottery, and has been operated by the Stratford Arts Trust charity since 2011. Stratford Circus has conference and meeting facilities, hosting six "flexible spaces", three of which are theatre spaces that have been used by organisations for training, conferences and away days. Stratford Circus leads the National Partnership of Arts Centres (NPAC) through their Director and NPAC co-chair Clare Connor. Organisations who have been based at the venue include East London Dance, Urban Development, Theatre Venture, and the Newham Youth and Community Education Service. The University of East London's Institute of Performing Arts Development (iPAD) and the London International Festival of Theatre (LIFT) are also working in partnership with the centre.

J R Roberts Stores opened in 1870 in Stratford, London as a drapery and furniture shop at 96 Broadway, before expanding and becoming a full line department store covering 78-102 Broadway. In 1888, it is reported that J R Roberts opened the first Christmas grotto in a UK department store. Later their Christmas fairs were known for animated soldiers, sailors and other toy figures. During the early part of the 20th century, the postcard artist Hermann Fleury Jnr fitted out the Christmas display for a fee of £200.In 1895, Queen Mary Hospital at West Ham opened a new wing and the two main wards were named after J R Roberts who had paid for the furniture.The business expanded in 1899 when they opened a second store in Nelson Street, Southend-on-Sea, as a subsidiary (Company no. 00338672) of the Stratford branch. They also announced they would stop selling alcohol in their Stratford store as part of the temperance movement. In 1933 they moved from Nelson Street to 90 High Street, Southend, which had been home to Percy Ravens since 1900. In 1950 the business was purchased by retail group Hide & Co.In 1954, J R Roberts closed their Stratford store and sold it to the London Co-operative Society (who demolished the old buildings and built a new department store between 1957 and 1962), The Southend store became part of House of Fraser in 1975 after they purchased Hide & Co, and was renamed Chiesmans before becoming Army & Navy. The premises have since been occupied by Dixons / Currys and Morrisons Local.

St Paul's Church, Stratford is a Church of England church in Stratford, London. It had its origins in a Sunday School opened in Stratford New Town by a City Missionary around 1850, for which a building was constructed on Queen Street by Samuel Gurney in 1853, within the parish of St John's Church, Stratford. St John's vicar William Holloway was ambivalent about the mission and so friction arose when the vicar of All Saints, A J Ram, bought a site for the mission to build a church, initially an iron hall in 1859 and a permanent church in 1864, both dedicated to St Paul. The latter was built with assistance from Thomas Fowell Buxton and Raymond Pelly. The permanent church was then assigned a separate parish in 1865, split from that of St John's. The church was destroyed by a V-weapon in 1945, but was replaced by a new building, consecrated in 1953.St Paul's parish opened a mission church of St Mark to provide services for factory girls, opening in 1877, building a permanent building in 1891, suffering bomb damage and finally being sold to the Methodist Church after 1945. Its parish is now known as 'St Paul and St James, Stratford', after the congregation of St James' Church, Forest Gate moved from St John's to St Paul's in 2014 (the former parish area of St James' instead moved to St Saviour's, also in 2014.

The London Academy of Excellence, Stratford (LAE) is a selective free school sixth form college located in the Stratford area of the London Borough of Newham, England. It has approximately 480 pupils and 32 teachers.

The Two Puddings was a pub on Stratford Broadway in Stratford, east London, and a live music venue.

Manhattan Loft Gardens is a 42-storey 143 m (469 ft)-tall apartment building in Stratford, London. The architects and structural engineers are Skidmore, Owings & Merrill.On 5 December 2016, it was reported that the building had “destroyed” the protected view of St Paul's Cathedral from King Henry's Mound in Richmond Park, which had existed since 1710, when an avenue of trees was planted to frame the vista of the cathedral's dome. The developers responded that “Despite going through the correct planning processes in a public and transparent manner, at no point was the subject of visual impact to St Paul's ever raised" by the Olympic Delivery Authority or the Greater London Authority and that they were looking into the issues raised by the development.
