Largo High School (Florida)

The Louis Johnson Building (also known as the Johnson Building) is a historic site in Largo, Florida. It is located at 161 1st Street, Southwest. On December 3, 1987, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. The building was originally built as a hotel by Louis Steele Johnson in 1911. In the 1950s, the hotel was converted to the Johnson Brothers Auto Machine and Supply Company. Today the first floor of the building is vacant while the second floor is the residence of Johnson's granddaughter, Joyce Siegel.

The Largo Public Library is one of the most widely used public libraries in Pinellas County, Florida, United States. It is centrally located in Largo and serves a community of over 75,000 residents.

Largo is the third largest city in Pinellas County, Florida, United States, as well as the fourth largest in the Tampa Bay area. As of the 2010 Census, the city had a population of 77,648, up from 69,371 in 2000. Largo was first incorporated in 1905. In 1913, it became the first municipality in Pinellas County to adopt a council-manager government. It switched back and forth from "town" to "city" a few times, and became a city again in 1974. It was an exporter of agricultural products until the 1960s population growth began to transform it into a bedroom community. From 1905 to 2010, Largo grew in area from 9⁄16 square mile (1.5 km2) to about 19 square miles (48 km2), and in population from about 300 people to more than 70,000. Largo began as a rural farming community and became the third largest city in Florida's most densely populated county. Largo is a sister city to Tosayamada, Kōchi, Japan, and has been named a National Arbor Day Tree City for 32 years in a row.

Largo Medical Center is a 455-bed teaching hospital located in Largo, in the US state of Florida. The hospital has three campuses in Largo and in Clearwater, employs approximately 1,800 people, and is owned by Hospital Corporation of America, a Nashville, Tennessee-based company. As a teaching facility, Largo Medical Center operates a number of residency programs. The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission.

The Old Belleair Town Hall (also known as the Belleair Garden Club) is a historic site in Belleair, Florida. It is located at 903 Ponce de Leon Boulevard. On May 6, 1994, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. The current Town Hall is located next door at 901 Ponce de Leon Boulevard.

Eagle Lake Park is a county-level park located in Largo, Florida. It is a 163-acre preserve located in a suburban district, consisting of two parcels of land Pinellas County purchased in 1998 and 2006, respectively. The land originally belonged to the Taylor family, one of the peninsula's first settled American families. It was used as a pasture, and subsequently an orange grove. It has miles of hiking and walking trails, in addition to shelters, playgrounds, wildlife, and the centerpiece lake. It opened in 2010.

The Louis Ducros House (also known as the Plant-Ducros House) is a historic home in Clearwater, Florida. It is located at 1324 South Fort Harrison Street. On July 2, 1979, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. In 2004, it was purchased and shortly thereafter moved to 622 Belleview Boulevard.It was removed from the National Register on September 2, 2009.

The ANNIKA, formerly the Pelican Women's Championship, is a women's professional golf tournament in Florida on the LPGA Tour. A new event in 2020, it was played at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair near Tampa.Nelly Korda won the 2021 event in a playoff over defending champion Kim Sei-young, Lexi Thompson, and Lydia Ko.The 2022 event was scheduled to be held November 10–13, but the Thursday, November 10 start date was eliminated due to the approach of Hurricane Nicole with rain and strong winds, so the tournament was shortened to 54 holes.The storm hit with its 70 miles per hour (110 km/h) wind, and 4.68 inches (11.9 cm) rain blew through the Tampa Bay area on Thursday. The sand base of the land and the crew's extraordinary work over the 12 hours between the LPGA notice to the players at 5:30pm on Thursday and the proposed 6:55am start on Friday, was praised by the players on how unbelievably good shape the course was in, also given the remarkable lack of debris. The reason for the lack of standing water is this course is so close to the Gulf of Mexico, rain sinks straight down to the water table line.Nelly Korda would successfully defend her title with a 1-shot victory over Lexi Thompson for her first LPGA win of the 2022 season after missing the majority of the first half due to a blood clot in her right arm.

Belleair is a town in Pinellas County, Florida, United States. It is part of the Tampa–St. Petersburg–Clearwater Metropolitan Statistical Area, which is much more commonly called the Tampa Bay area. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 4,273.

Belleair Bluffs is a city in Pinellas County, Florida, United States. It is part of the Tampa–St. Petersburg–Clearwater Metropolitan Statistical Area, more commonly known as the Tampa Bay Area. The population was 2,311 at the 2020 census.

The Plumb House is a historic U.S home originally located on the northwest corner of Lakeview and South Fort Harrison Avenues in Clearwater, Florida. The house was built in about 1896 and used as a paint store on the ground level and apartments on the second floor. In December 1983, the house was moved to its current location at 1380 South Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in Clearwater, and serves as the home for the Clearwater Historical Society and the Plumb House Museum.
