Pinellas County Schools is the public school district serving Pinellas County, Florida. The district is based in Largo. With over 104,000 students served in more than 140 schools and centers, the district is the 7th-largest in Florida and 26th-largest in the nation. In addition to neighborhood schools, the district offers 70 application programs, including magnet, fundamental and career academy programs. It includes the entire county.

The Louis Johnson Building (also known as the Johnson Building) is a historic site in Largo, Florida. It is located at 161 1st Street, Southwest. On December 3, 1987, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. The building was originally built as a hotel by Louis Steele Johnson in 1911. In the 1950s, the hotel was converted to the Johnson Brothers Auto Machine and Supply Company. Today the first floor of the building is vacant while the second floor is the residence of Johnson's granddaughter, Joyce Siegel.

Belleair Bluffs is a city in Pinellas County, Florida, United States. It is part of the Tampa–St. Petersburg–Clearwater Metropolitan Statistical Area, more commonly known as the Tampa Bay Area. The population was 2,311 at the 2020 census.

William Dean Chocolates is an artisan chocolate maker in the Belleair Bluffs section of Largo in Pinellas County, Florida. Their chocolate truffles are hand-painted in delicate designs including the marble swirl of purple, bronze and red on the PB&J, a purple dotted port wine with fig, and a lavender truffle in a butterfly shape. The business is owned by chocolatier Bill Brown who founded it in 2007. It is named for his father (William) and grandfather (Dean). Valrhona chocolate is used as well as authentic ingredients, some exotic. The Tampa Bay Times called it "a rising star in the world of hand-crafted chocolates" that has won more than 60 national awards including best in show at the New York Chocolate Show and 11 gold medals at the San Francisco International Chocolate Salon. Largo is the third largest city in Pinellas County, Florida, United States, as well as the fourth largest in the Tampa Bay area. As of the 2010 Census, the city had a population of 77,648, up from 69,371 in 2000. Largo was first incorporated in 1905. In 1913, it became the first municipality in Pinellas County to adopt a council-manager government. It switched back and forth from "town" to "city" a few times, and became a city again in 1974. It was an exporter of agricultural products until the 1960s population growth began to transform it into a bedroom community. From 1905 to 2010, Largo grew in area from 9⁄16 square mile (1.5 km2) to about 19 square miles (48 km2), and in population from about 300 people to more than 70,000. Largo began as a rural farming community and became the third largest city in Florida's most densely populated county. Largo is a sister city to Tosayamada, Kōchi, Japan, and has been named a National Arbor Day Tree City for 32 years in a row.

Largo High School is a public high school in Largo, Florida, United States. The school's athletic teams are known as the Packers, and the school colors are blue and gold. Its current principal is Brad Finkbiner. The school was recently rebuilt and finished reconstruction in 2016. The school has two magnet programs, ExCEL and an IB Diploma Programme.

The Largo Public Library is one of the most widely used public libraries in Pinellas County, Florida, United States. It is centrally located in Largo and serves a community of over 75,000 residents.

Largo Central Park is a 70-acre public park located at 101 Central Park Drive in Largo, Florida, United States. Opened in April 1995, the park features a playground, picnic pavilions, a miniature railroad, a performing arts center, and the James S. Miles and Richard A. Leandri Military Court of Honor. Largo Central Park is situated across the street from the Largo Public Library, and west of the Largo Central Park Nature Preserve, a 31-acre nature park. A clock tower initially stood at the entrance to the park on the corner of Seminole Boulevard and East Bay Drive, but it was removed in 2009. Each December, Largo Central Park is decorated with Christmas lights and displays; in 2018, over 2 million lights decorated the park.

Ridgecrest is a census-designated place (CDP) in Pinellas County, Florida, United States. The population was 2,558 at the 2010 census.

The Old Belleair Town Hall (also known as the Belleair Garden Club) is a historic site in Belleair, Florida. It is located at 903 Ponce de Leon Boulevard. On May 6, 1994, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. The current Town Hall is located next door at 901 Ponce de Leon Boulevard.

The ANNIKA, formerly the Pelican Women's Championship, is a women's professional golf tournament in Florida on the LPGA Tour. A new event in 2020, it was played at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair near Tampa.Nelly Korda won the 2021 event in a playoff over defending champion Kim Sei-young, Lexi Thompson, and Lydia Ko.The 2022 event was scheduled to be held November 10–13, but the Thursday, November 10 start date was eliminated due to the approach of Hurricane Nicole with rain and strong winds, so the tournament was shortened to 54 holes.The storm hit with its 70 miles per hour (110 km/h) wind, and 4.68 inches (11.9 cm) rain blew through the Tampa Bay area on Thursday. The sand base of the land and the crew's extraordinary work over the 12 hours between the LPGA notice to the players at 5:30pm on Thursday and the proposed 6:55am start on Friday, was praised by the players on how unbelievably good shape the course was in, also given the remarkable lack of debris. The reason for the lack of standing water is this course is so close to the Gulf of Mexico, rain sinks straight down to the water table line.Nelly Korda would successfully defend her title with a 1-shot victory over Lexi Thompson for her first LPGA win of the 2022 season after missing the majority of the first half due to a blood clot in her right arm.
