Skateboarding at the 2020 Summer Olympics was an event held in the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. It was the debut appearance of skateboarding at the Summer Olympics. Skateboarding was one of four new sports added to the Olympic program for 2020; it is also provisionally approved for the 2024 Summer Olympic games. The proposal to add skateboarding to the Olympics was approved in August 2016.

Differ Ariake (ディファ有明, Difa Ariake) was an indoor sporting arena located in the Ariake neighborhood of Tokyo, Japan. It opened in 1999. Differ Ariake closed in June 2018 and it was replaced by the newly-built Ariake Arena for the 2020 Summer Olympics and the 2020 Summer Paralympics.The capacity of the arena was 1,246 seats. It was mainly used for professional wrestling and martial arts events. The arena became known as the home of Pro Wrestling Noah, housing the promotion's offices and training dojo.The arena may be reached on a short walk from either Ariake Tennis no Mori Station on the New Transit Yurikamome or Kokusai-Tenjijō Station on the Rinkai Line.

In 2018, the venue switched to the Musashino Forest Sports Plaza as the Ariake Coliseum was renovated for the tennis events at the 2020 Summer Olympics. The championship includes men's singles and doubles competitions.

"International Exhibition Centre Station") is a railway station on the Rinkai Line in Kōtō, Tokyo, Japan, operated by Tokyo Waterfront Area Rapid Transit (TWR). The station serves the Tokyo Big Sight exhibition centre, after which the station is named.
