Ariake Arena

The Ariake Gymnastics Centre is a temporary sports arena located in the Ariake district of Tokyo, Japan. Opened in October 2019, the venue was constructed to host the gymnastics events at the 2020 Summer Olympics and the boccia events at the 2020 Summer Paralympics.

Ariake Junior College of Education and the Arts (有明教育芸術短期大学, Ariake Kyōiku Geijutsu Tanki Daigaku) is a junior college in Kōtō, Tokyo, Japan. It was founded in 2009. The predecessor of the school, Nihon Ongaku Gakko, was founded in 1903.

Ariake-Tennis-no-mori Station (有明テニスの森駅, Ariake Tenisu-no-mori-eki) is a train station in Kōtō, Tokyo Prefecture, Japan. Its station number is U-13. The station opened on 27 March 2006. The name of this station is in reference to the nearby Ariake Tennis Forest Park, where the Japan Open Tennis Championship is held.

Shin-toyosu Station (新豊洲駅, Shin-Toyosu-eki) is a railway station on the Yurikamome Line, in Kōtō, Tokyo, Japan. It is numbered "U-15".

Differ Ariake (ディファ有明, Difa Ariake) was an indoor sporting arena located in the Ariake neighborhood of Tokyo, Japan. It opened in 1999. Differ Ariake closed in June 2018 and it was replaced by the newly-built Ariake Arena for the 2020 Summer Olympics and the 2020 Summer Paralympics.The capacity of the arena was 1,246 seats. It was mainly used for professional wrestling and martial arts events. The arena became known as the home of Pro Wrestling Noah, housing the promotion's offices and training dojo.The arena may be reached on a short walk from either Ariake Tennis no Mori Station on the New Transit Yurikamome or Kokusai-Tenjijō Station on the Rinkai Line.

Ariake Coliseum (有明コロシアム, Ariake Koroshiamu) is an indoor sporting arena in Ariake Tennis Forest Park (有明テニスの森公園, Ariake Tenisu no Mori Kōen) located in Ariake, Kōtō, Tokyo, Japan. It has a capacity of 10,000 and is one of the few professional tennis venues which has a retractable roof.

The Japan Open (currently sponsored by Rakuten) is a men's tennis tournament held in Ariake Tennis Forest Park with its center court Ariake Coliseum, located in Koto, Tokyo. The historical precursor event, the All-Japan Championships was founded in 1915, then later became the Japan International Championships. In 2018, the venue switched to the Musashino Forest Sports Plaza as the Ariake Coliseum was renovated for the tennis events at the 2020 Summer Olympics. The championship includes men's singles and doubles competitions.

The 1855 Edo earthquake (安政江戸地震, Ansei Edo Jishin), was the third Ansei Great Earthquake, which occurred during the late-Edo period. It occurred after the 1854 Nankai earthquake, which took place about a year prior. The earthquake occurred at 22:00 local time on 11 November. It had an epicenter close to Edo (now Tokyo), causing considerable damage in the Kantō region from the shaking and subsequent fires, with a death toll of 7,000–10,000 people and destroyed around 14,000 buildings. The earthquake had a magnitude of 7.0 on the surface wave magnitude scale and reached a maximum intensity of XI (Extreme) on the Mercalli intensity scale. The earthquake triggered a minor tsunami.

IBM Toyosu Facility, located in Toyosu, Kōtō-ku, Tokyo, Japan, is one of the two largest facilities occupied by IBM in Tokyo, the other being IBM Hakozaki Facility. It mainly houses IBM's research and development, and delivery functions. The building is owned by Nippon Building Fund, affiliated to Mitsui Bank, and was built in 2004.

Ariake Station (有明駅, Ariake-eki) is a railway station on the Yurikamome Line, in Kōtō, Tokyo, Japan. Its station number is U-12. Opened on 1 November 1995, the station is located within walking distance of Kokusai-tenjijō Station on the Rinkai Line. The station opened as the line's eastern terminus before the line's extension to Toyosu Station opened. However, some services from Shimbashi still terminate at Ariake.
