Clermont is a city in Lake County in central Florida, United States, about 22 miles (35 km) west of Orlando and 22 miles (35 km) southeast of Leesburg. The population was 43,021 in 2020. The city is residential in character and its economy is centered in retail trade, lodging, and tourism-oriented restaurants and bars. It is part of the Orlando–Kissimmee–Sanford Metropolitan Statistical Area. Clermont is home to the 1956 Florida Citrus Tower, one of Florida's early landmarks.

The Clermont Woman's Club is a historic woman's club in Clermont, Florida, United States. It was organized in 1921.The club is housed in an 1880s former one-room schoolhouse located at 655 Broome Street. On January 7, 1993, the building was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

East Ridge High School is a school in Clermont, Florida and one of eight public high schools in Lake County. East Ridge is the largest school in Lake County. There are 2,486 Students enrolled as of December 2019.

The Miniature White House is a detailed miniature replica of the White House created by miniaturists John and Jan Zweifel. It is kept at the Zweifels' Presidents Hall of Fame in Clermont, Florida, though portions of it are often displayed elsewhere, including at presidential libraries. Its construction began in 1962. Built to a 1-inch-to-1-foot scale, it replicates in painstaking detail almost all the rooms in the White House, including the East Wing, West Wing, and the Oval Office.It has been displayed in every U.S. state. In the 1970s and early 1980s, it was displayed in several foreign countries. In the Netherlands, the replica was attacked by a group of anti-American vandals, who damaged most of the model, but all was eventually repaired.In 1994, W. W. Norton & Company published The White House in Miniature by Gail Buckland, a book about the model's history and creators that features photographs of all the miniature rooms. A VHS/DVD tour of the replica has also been made.

The Florida Citrus Tower is a 226-foot-tall (69 m) structure in Clermont, Florida. Built in 1956 to allow visitors to observe the miles of surrounding orange groves, it was once among the most famous landmarks of the Orlando area.

The Clermont chain of lakes is a chain of lakes centered on Clermont, Florida. The chain is orientated from southeast to northwest and fed primarily by streams and groundwater flow. They make up the middle part of the Palatlakaha River watershed which forms the headwaters of the Ocklawaha River. The lakes are notable for their red to tea-colored water from tannic acid.

Lake Louisa State Park is a 4,372-acre (17.69 km2) Florida State Park located south of Clermont, in the northeast corner of the Green Swamp and the southwestern shore of Lake Louisa. It is made up of bald cypress, live oak, and saw palmettos. In addition to Lake Louisa, the park contains Hammond Lake, Dixie Lake, Dude Lake, and Bear Lake, along with several smaller lakes. Two small streams, Big Creek and Little Creek, flow north from the Green Swamp through the park into Lake Louisa. Lake Louisa is the source of the Palatlakaha River, one of the headwaters of the Ocklawaha River. The main entrance to the park is on U.S. 27 7 miles (11 km) south of State Road 50. An entrance on the western side of the park, off County Route 561 on Lake Nellie Road, gives access only to the horse trails. Activities include swimming, picnicking, horseback riding, hiking, camping, fishing, and canoeing. Amenities include a canoe/kayak ramp, 16 miles (26 km) of equestrian trails, and a primitive equestrian campground, as well as a 0.5-mile (0.80 km) nature trail, 20 miles (32 km) of hiking trails, fishing pier, canoe/kayak launch, and a picnic pavilion. The park is open from 8:00 am till sundown year-round. The property was purchased by the state in 1973 and opened to the public in 1977.

Lake Minneola High School (LMHS) is located in Minneola, Florida, United States. It is a public high school that serves grades 9–12. Established in 2011, Lake Minneola High School is one of seven high schools in Lake County, and one of the first in Central Florida to implement an iPad-based education. It was built to alleviate overflow of sister schools South Lake High School and East Ridge High School.

WWFL (1340 AM) is a radio station licensed to Clermont, Florida, United States, serving the Lake County area. The station is currently owned by Onda Mexicana Radio Group, Inc. In March 2016, the station jettisoned its locally programmed Regional Mexican format, known as Onda Mexicana, to take the La Mejor format from Mexican company MVS Radio.

Apopka Spring is a second magnitude spring in the Gourd Neck bay of Lake Apopka east of Clermont in Lake County, Florida. The immediate area surrounding the spring is undeveloped swampland surrounded by Clermont's mostly suburban development on most sides with Lake Apopka itself to the east into which it discharges into. There is a bottled water plant nearby that withdraws water from the aquifer system feeding into the spring.The spring itself is only accessible by boat and the surrounding land is in private property. The vent originates 90 feet below the water surface and opens at 45 feet below the water surface. 2 divers died attempting to explore the vent. The spring pool is roughly 180 feet in diameter at the surface. During times of high water flow the pool is clear and at low flow it is murky from lake water.

WYGM (740 AM) is a commercial radio station in Orlando, Florida, United States. It is owned by iHeartMedia and airs a sports radio format. Programming is simulcast on FM translator station W245CL at 96.9 MHz in nearby Deltona, Florida, and uses its FM dial position in its moniker, "96.9 The Game." It is also heard on the HD2 channel of co-owned WJRR 101.1. WYGM has studios and offices in iHeart's Orlando facility in Maitland. It operates at the maximum AM power permitted by the Federal Communications Commission, 50,000 watts at all times, but because AM 740 is a clear-channel Canadian frequency, reserved for Class A CFZM in Toronto, WYGM must use a directional antenna at night (to protect CFZM). By contrast, WYGM's translator operates at only 250 watts. WYGM's transmitter is off Tower Pine Drive in Winter Garden.

WFLF (540 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station licensed to Pine Hills, Florida, and serving Greater Orlando. It is owned by iHeartMedia and airs a news/talk format. The studios and offices are in the iHeart Orlando complex in Maitland.The station broadcasts using a directional antenna at all times, with the signal extending to the east to avoid interfering with Class A stations in Canada and Mexico. The power is 50,000 watts by day (the maximum permitted by the Federal Communications Commission) and 46,000 watts at night. The transmitter is on Tower Pines Drive in Winter Garden. WFLF is Central Florida's Primary Entry Point station in the Emergency Alert System. WFLF is simulcast on FM translator stations W226BT 93.1 MHz and W231CT 94.1 MHz, both in Orlando. The 93.1 translator broadcasts from South Orange Avenue at East Church Street. The 94.1 translator broadcasts from National Place at West Marvin Avenue. Programming is also heard on co-owned 107.7 WMGF's HD3 subchannel.
