WFLF (540 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station licensed to Pine Hills, Florida, and serving Greater Orlando. It is owned by iHeartMedia and airs a news/talk format. The studios and offices are in the iHeart Orlando complex in Maitland.The station broadcasts using a directional antenna at all times, with the signal extending to the east to avoid interfering with Class A stations in Canada and Mexico. The power is 50,000 watts by day (the maximum permitted by the Federal Communications Commission) and 46,000 watts at night. The transmitter is on Tower Pines Drive in Winter Garden. WFLF is Central Florida's Primary Entry Point station in the Emergency Alert System. WFLF is simulcast on FM translator stations W226BT 93.1 MHz and W231CT 94.1 MHz, both in Orlando. The 93.1 translator broadcasts from South Orange Avenue at East Church Street. The 94.1 translator broadcasts from National Place at West Marvin Avenue. Programming is also heard on co-owned 107.7 WMGF's HD3 subchannel.

Some residential areas are now bordering it. This lake has no public boat docks, no public swimming areas and only a little public access from Avalon Road, which borders its eastern tip.

To the west side of the lake is Florida State Road 429, a toll highway. Residential housing, a private school and a retail area border parts of the lake. Citrus groves also border parts of it. The entire lake is surrounded by private property, so there is no public access to this lake.

Horizon West is a census-designated place (CDP) and unincorporated area in Orange County, Florida, United States. It is part of the Orlando–Kissimmee–Sanford, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 58,101 at the 2020 census. Horizon West includes five designated mixed-use villages, namely the Village of Bridgewater, Lakeside Village, Hickory Nut, Village I and Village F., surrounded by greenbelts as well as a town center. The concept was adopted in 1995 by Orange County. As of 2017, Horizon West can be considered one of the fast growing master-planned communities nationwide.

Panther Lake is a natural freshwater lake on the north side of Walt Disney World, in Orange County, Florida. In fact, a small part of the lake is within the boundaries of Walt Disney World. This lake originally had an irregular shape and today parts of the lake are filled in, because of encroaching development. On the west side of the lake is Florida State Road 429, a toll highway. On the south, east and northeast is Watermark Winter Garden, a large housing development. On most of the rest of the north is Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge.This lake has no public boat docks, no public swimming areas and virtually no public access.

Killarney is an unincorporated community in Orange County, Florida, United States. Its ZIP code is 34740. The community is located west of Oakland, south of Lake Apopka, north of John's Lake, and east of the Lake-Orange County Line. The main roads through Killarney are State Road 50, Old CR 50, and County Road 438. The West Orange Trail and South Lake-Lake Minneola Scenic Trail terminate within the community. Florida's Turnpike also runs through Killarney, but has no interchanges there. The nearest interchange is with SR 50 in nearby Oakland.

Horizon High School was built in 2021 as a relief school to reduce overcrowding in nearby high schools West Orange High School and Windermere High School. Lake Tilden, also considered part of nearby Black Lake, is a natural freshwater lake on the west side of Orlando, Florida, in Orange County, Florida. This lake, with some swampy shores, meets Black Lake on its northwest side. To the south side of the lake is Florida State Road 429, a toll highway. Residential housing developments are on the southwest and north sides of the lake. The entire lake is surrounded by private property, so there is no public access to this lake. Water Quality The water quality in Lake Tilden is very stable. Dating back to September 1, 1971, there have been approximately 7,082 water samples collected from Lake Tilden with samples ranging on a scale from 0 (highest quality) to 100 (lowest quality). The current water quality of Lake Tilden is 54 and has ranged from 38 to 65 since the first sample was collected in 1971. The limiting nutrient in Lake Tilden is phosphorus. The lake contains nitrogen, another nutrient required by plant life, and chlorophyll, which is a measure of algae abundance. Water clarity is also another feature of Lake Tilden with the latest Secchi disk reading being 1.97 feet (0.60 m) with a historic range of 0.33 to 12 feet (0.10 to 3.66 m).Wildlife Lake Tilden is home to many of Central Florida's native species that resides in and around the shores of lakes. One of the most common species found in Lake Tilden is the Largemouth Bass, a common freshwater sport fishing species. Residents of the area rave about the tremendous fishing the lake has when it comes to Catfish, Tilapia, and Bass. Size Comparative to Lakes in the area Lake Tilden is quite small with only having a surface area of about 40 acres. The lakes average depth is 10ft but its deepest point is 36ft down. This depth allows for many different species of wildlife and vegetation to strive in Lake Tilden. Location Lake Tilden is located at 28.5199° N, 81.5932° W, it is approximately 12 miles west-southwest of downtown Orlando.The area that surrounds Lake Tilden is very industrialized with many neighborhoods and shopping centers surrounding the area. Winter Garden Regional shopping center as well as Winter Garden Regal are two huge shopping centers that are within 2.5 miles of Lake Tilden. As well as shopping centers, Windsor Park Golf Club is within 2 miles of the lake. These developments raise concern for the future of the water quality in Lake Tilden due to the massive amounts of pesticides that golf courses use to fertilize the land as well as the pollution that comes from massive shopping malls. The water quality in Lake Tilden, as mentioned above, is very good, so we can hope that the risk of pollution is low.

Oakland is a town in Orange County, Florida, United States. The population was 3,516 at the 2020 Census, representing a growth of 38.5% over the population of 2,538 recorded during the 2010 census. It is part of the Orlando–Kissimmee Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Windermere High School is a high school in Lake Butler, an unincorporated area located in the southwest portion of Orange County, Florida, USA, within the Orlando metropolitan area.The school was set up as a relief school to relieve overcrowding for nearby West Orange High School. Classes began for the 2017–2018 school year.The district established a vote for naming the school and 39% of the area's families voted for the name "Windermere High School" (with 22% each voted for "Horizon High School" and "Lake Butler High School"). The Windermere town council opposed the naming on the grounds that area residents might confuse the school with Windermere Preparatory School. Some OCPS board members also argued the school should not be named for a community in which it would not be located; they stated that not very many students from Windermere would go there.
