Indira Road is the name of a road adjoining the Farmgate area of Dhaka city.Many people think that name of this familiar road came from the name of Indira Gandhi, but it has no evidence. There are another concept about the naming of the road. In that area a wealthy person named Dwijdas Babu lived who was head of Manipur firm. His eldest daughter named Indira died. Her body was buried inside of their own house. People think that the road was named after his daughter.The road is under Dhaka North City Corporation and Tejgaon Thana. Tejgaon College is situated in the road. The government's Indira Road-Panthapath link road project is underway.

The Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute and Hospital is an ophthalmological hospital in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The hospital was founded by Bangladeshi philanthropist Mirza Ahmad Ispahani in 1960. In addition to tertiary care and rehabilitation for an average of 700 patients per day, the hospital offers education programs for medical staff and the wider community regarding causes and treatment for common eye disorders. It also works in collaboration with different international organisations such as Sight Savers International, Siemens AG, and ORBIS International on programs for the prevention of blindness in the Bangladeshi community. Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban or National Parliament House, (Bengali: জাতীয় সংসদ ভবন Jatiyô Sôngsôd Bhôbôn) is the house of the Parliament of Bangladesh, located at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the Bangladeshi capital of Dhaka. Designed while the country was still part of Pakistan by architect Louis Kahn, the complex is one of the largest legislative complexes in the world, covering 200 acres (810,000 m2).The building was featured prominently in the 2003 film My Architect, detailing the career and familial legacy of its architect, Louis Kahn. Robert McCarter, author of Louis I. Kahn, described the National Parliament of Bangladesh as one of the twentieth century's most significant buildings.

Farmgate (Bengali: ফার্মগেট, romanised: Farmget) is an elevated metro station of the Dhaka Metro's MRT Line 6. This station is located in the neighbourhood of Farmgate. The station commenced operations on 5 November 2023.
