Indira Road

The Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute and Hospital is an ophthalmological hospital in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The hospital was founded by Bangladeshi philanthropist Mirza Ahmad Ispahani in 1960. In addition to tertiary care and rehabilitation for an average of 700 patients per day, the hospital offers education programs for medical staff and the wider community regarding causes and treatment for common eye disorders. It also works in collaboration with different international organisations such as Sight Savers International, Siemens AG, and ORBIS International on programs for the prevention of blindness in the Bangladeshi community. In 2001 the hospital established Bangladesh's first amniotic membrane processing laboratory.

Farmgate (Bengali: ফার্মগেট, romanised: Farmget) is an elevated metro station of the Dhaka Metro's MRT Line 6. This station is located in the neighbourhood of Farmgate. The station commenced operations on 5 November 2023.

The Mausoleum Complex of Ziaur Rahman is a significant architectural engineering monument located in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar of Dhaka city in Bangladesh. The monument hosts the grave of Ziaur Rahman, the 7th president of Bangladesh, who is famous for reading proclamation of Bangladeshi Independence through Kalurghat radio centre on 27 March 1971. He was a notable Leader in the south Asian region of the 20th century. The monument was constructed by GBB Limited with consultation of Bashat Architects Engineers Ltd and executed under the Public works department and department of architecture.

Bangabandhu Military Museum is a military museum of Bangladesh. Administered by the Bangladesh Army, the museum is located right beside the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Novo Theatre at Bijoy Sarani of the capital Dhaka. The museum has a collection of Bangladesh's military history, heritage, success stories and various weapons and ammunition. It is now most popular to the young generation and also to the ll ages people.

Bangladesh Home Economics College is an constituent college of the University of Dhaka, directed by the governing body of Dhaka University. The Faculty of Biological Science of the University of Dhaka directly monitors all academic activities of the college. It was founded in 1996. It is an all girls' college.

Square Hospital is a private hospital in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is one of three high-end private hospital in Bangladesh, the other being Apollo Hospital Dhaka and United Hospital, Dhaka. Tapan Chowdhury is the managing director of the hospital.

Sonargaon University (Bengali: সোনারগাঁও বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়; SU) is a private university in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It has four faculties: Science and Engineering; Business and Economics; Humanities and Social Science; and Law and Justice.It has been accredited by the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, curricula, and academics while its programs have been approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It was established under the Private University Act 2010 with the approval of the Government of Bangladesh in December 2012 for awarding degrees in various fields.

Pantapath is an important east west road in Karwan Bazar area of Dhaka city, the capital of Bangladesh. It connects Tongi Diversion road, Mymenshing Road (now Old Airport Road) and Mirpur Road. It is home to one of South Asia's largest shopping centers, Bashundhara City. Other landmarks are Square Hospital, Samorita Hospital, Unique Trade Center, etc. Green Road intersects this road at about middle from north to south. There was originally a canal connecting Hatirjeel-Begunbari with Dhanmondi Lake. But in late 1980, this east–west road was constructed. The construction of the road completed in 1995. Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (FDC) and Hotel Pan Pacific Sonargaon are also located on the eastern section of this road. There are two mosques in Pantapath.

Bijoy Sarani is a main road in Dhaka city. Between Farmgate and Old Airport, Sonny Rangs Building has connected Farm House to Rokeya Sarani crosswise. The busy road, the mural Vijay Sarani fountain at one end and a militant airstrip at the other end is placed on the island. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Novo Theatre is located on one side of it.

Holy Cross Girls' High School is a Catholic primary and secondary school for girls, located at Tejgaon in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It serves students from class 1 through class 10. Although run by the Roman Catholic Church, the school is open to students of all religions.
