Corbett School is a K-12 public school in Corbett, Oregon, United States. In 2010, Corbett School was ranked 5th among public schools in the United States by Newsweek, as measured by the proportion of students who passed college prep courses. In 2011, it was ranked 15th by The Washington Post.

Reed Island State Park is a public recreation area on the Columbia River three miles (4.8 km) east of Washougal in Clark County, Washington. The state park comprises 427-acre (173 ha) Reed island and is only accessible by boat. The island, which is part of the Columbia River Water Trail, has primitive camping and picnicking areas.

Chanticleer Point is a geographical landmark on the Oregon side of the Columbia River Gorge. It is the first notable overlook encountered traveling east on the Historic Columbia River Highway. It is a typical location from which to take photos of the gorge featuring Crown Point prominently. It overlooks Rooster Rock State Park. The overlook is part of the Oregon state park system and its official name is the Portland Women's Forum State Scenic Viewpoint. A plaque placed at the site describes the Forum's support of this landmark.

Oxbow Regional Park is a 1,000-acre (4.0 km2) natural area park located ten miles (16 km) southeast of Troutdale along the Sandy River in the U.S. state of Oregon. Owned and operated by Metro regional government, it hosts a yearly festival celebrating salmon.

The Steigerwald Lake National Wildlife Refuge is a 1,049-acre (4.25 km2; 425 ha) riverine flood plain habitat, semi-permanent wetland on the Columbia River, 10 miles (16 km) east of Vancouver, Washington, with cottonwood-dominated riparian corridors, pastures, and remnant stands of Oregon white oak. The largest wetland restoration project on the lower Columbia River involves removing about 2 miles (3.2 km) of levees separating the refuge from the river to restore 965 acres (391 ha) of floodplain habitat.The refuge lies partly within the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area and serves as the operational headquarters for the 329-acre (1.33 km2) Pierce National Wildlife Refuge. It has been designated as the site of the "Gateway to the Gorge" visitor center. This facility was completed in late 2022. The Washington Department of Transportation has estimated that this facility may be used by as many as 100,000 visitors annually, providing the it with one of the best outreach opportunities in the Pacific Northwest.

The Springdale School, now the Springdale Community Center, is a building located in Springdale, Oregon, United States on the National Register of Historic Places. The single-story, Art Deco-style building was designed by Claud Freeman and constructed in 1931 by Claude Woodle.

Springdale is an unincorporated community in Multnomah County in the U.S. state of Oregon. Located between Troutdale and Corbett on the Historic Columbia River Highway, it was named for the many springs in the area. In the 1890s, the east end of the community was called Springdale, but the west end was called Gage. Gage had a post office from 1900 to 1903. The Springdale School, also known as the Springdale Community Center, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and currently houses the CAPS program of the Corbett School District.

The View Point Inn, located in Corbett, Oregon, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.In 2008, the inn was used in filming of prom scenes in the first film of the Twilight Saga film series. The exposure generated by the film was credited with giving the hotel and its restaurant a boost in business.In July 2011, the building's second floor was gutted by a fire, and its owners, Geoff Thompson and Angelo Simione, faced financial difficulties, as the insurance on the building had lapsed. In October 2013, plans were made to rebuild and reopen the historic structure, with work slated to begin the winter of 2013–2014. Restore Oregon listed the inn on its 2012 list of Endangered Places; in December 2014 it reported that restoration was unlikely.In 2016, Heiner and Sheron Fruehauf purchased the Inn and began restoration. According to the owners, they anticipate reopening the Inn as a holistic health retreat in 2024.

Vista House is a museum at Crown Point in Multnomah County, Oregon, that also serves as a memorial to Oregon pioneers and as a comfort station for travelers on the Historic Columbia River Highway. The site, situated on a rocky promontory, is 733 feet (223 m) above the Columbia River on the south side of the Columbia River Gorge. The octagonal stone building was designed by Edgar M. Lazarus in the style of Art Nouveau, and completed in 1918 after nearly two years of construction. In 2000, restoration on the building began, and lasted five years. The Vista House is located within the Corbett locality, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Vista House is a popular place for viewing the aurora borealis.

Crown Point (also known historically as Thor's Heights or Thor's Crown) is a basalt promontory on the Columbia River Gorge and an associated state park in the U.S. state of Oregon. It is located in eastern Multnomah County, approximately 15 miles (24 km) east of Portland. Crown Point is one of the scenic lookouts along the Historic Columbia River Highway, providing a panoramic view of part of the Columbia River. It stands 733 feet (223 m) above the river and is the remains of a lava flow that filled the ancestral channel of the Columbia River 14 to 17 million years ago. The Point was designated a National Natural Landmark in 1971.
