Loch Kennard

Loch Scoly is a small hill loch, lying to the north-east of Loch Kennard and west of Loch Skiach, on Grandtully Hill within Perth and Kinross, Scotland.

Grandtully Castle is an historic building in Grandtully, Perth and Kinross, Scotland. It is a Category A listed building dating to 1560. An earlier castle stood around 1 mile (1.5 kilometres) east and dates from 1414; only its foundations remain.The current castle consists of a Z-plan three-storey towerhouse of 1560, extended in 1626 to create a fortified house. In the calmer world of the 19th century, extensive additions were made in the 1890s in the Scots Baronial style by Leadbetter & Fairley.The lands and castle belonged to the Stewart family from the 14th century, Thomas Stewart of Grandtully being mentioned in 1587. The castle was used by the Earl of Mar in the Jacobite Rising of 1715 and by Bonnie Prince Charlie in the 1745 rebellion.In the early 1860s, the estate was rented by Duleep Singh, the last Maharaja of the Sikh Empire, known as the Black Prince of Perthshire. He had previously lived at nearby Castle Menzies. The property was modernised internally in the 1920s. It is now divided into flats. The castle is said to be the basis of Tully-Veolan, the ancestral home of the Baron of Bradwardine in Sir Walter Scott's novel Waverley.

Loch Fender is a small irregular shaped freshwater loch that lies to the north of Loch Freuchie and three miles south-south-east of Amulree and 2+1⁄2 miles from southeast from Milton in Perth and Kinross. For its size it is very deep.

Grandtully railway station served the village of Grandtully, Perthshire, Scotland from 1865 to 1965 on the Inverness and Perth Junction Railway.

Cluny House is Category B listed building in Aberfeldy, Perth and Kinross, Scotland. It dates to around 1825. Its tower was added about fifty years later.In the mid-19th century, it was the home of Thomas Cockburn-Hood (1820–1889).The house's gardens were started in the 1950s by Bobby and Betty Masterton. The former also planted the tree trail at the Birks of Aberfeldy.

Balnaguard Glen is a Scottish Wildlife Trust reserve near the village of Balnaguard, Perthshire. It is notable for its juniper woodland, which is amongst the largest in Perthshire.

Loch Hoil is a small freshwater lochan located between the shallow hills between Strath Braan and Strath Tay valley's in Perth and Kinross. Aberfeldy is located 4.0 miles (6.4 km) to the north.

Ballechin distillery was a Scotch whisky distillery operated between 1810 and 1927 and was one of seven original farm distilleries operating in Perthshire. Out of these seven, Edradour is the only one remaining. Later in life the distillery was operated by the Robertson Family and supplied a large range of customers both locally and to wine merchants in Edinburgh and Glasgow. The distillery eventually closed due to the diversion of the water source and demolished. Since 2002, Edradour have resurrected the Ballechin brand of whisky. The distillery was located in an estate in Logierait parish, Perthshire, Scotland, located 3 miles (5 kilometres) west north-west of Ballinluig junction.
